Apartment is located in the very first building from Danube embankment on inner downtown side of Grand Boulevard. Entrance is from Falk Miksa street, where you will find a plenty of antiquity galleries, exibitions next doors to each other. You are encouraged to explore some hidden museum pieces in the basement shops & gallery right in the building.
Szent István boulevard is the beginning point of the World Heritage inner city ringroad of Budapest. Docking point of Margaret Bridge, right opposite the most beautiful Margaret Island. The House of Parliament is only a short 5 minutes walk along Falk Miksa street. Nyugati Railway Station is nearby. Oktogon square, the famous Andrássy Avenue are also within walking distance. The area has numerous restaurants, cafes and shops. Statues of famous actors & arhitects can be seen on the wall of our building from various historical ages. Plenty of tarnished theatres, cinemas, café houses are in the neighbourhood.

The owner of the apartment is very friendly and helpful, and the flat is well kept. The downside for us was that the apartment barely gets any natural light, being on the ground floor of a multiple story block facing the courtyard. On beautiful sunny days, there was no light coming into the flat, which means it's not the type of place to make dinner and relax with Hungarian wine on a summer evening. If you're envisioning sitting on a balcony on a warm summer evening, this is not that place for you. If you just need a place to sleep, this was a clean, secure apartment.

Great apartment, with great and cozy rooms, very nice kitchen and brand new bathroom. The host is very friendly and helpful (thank you, Greg :) ). We spent great time in there during New Years' holiday and we didn't need any public transportation or car during our visit. Everything is near by and I will definitely come again.
