The Bastion Studio is housed in a typical Bauhaus building from the 1930's. It is newly renovated, furnished elegant, comfortable. It features an elevator and it is on the 3rd floor. The studio sleeps 2 people in a beautiful open-plan living/sleeping space with a double bed and coffee table separated by a bookshelf. It has also a kitchenette where the guests can prepare their own food. And also do have a stylish bathroom. There is air-conditioning, cable TV, wireless internet access and 2 city-bicycles inclusive for only 38.-euro/night for two persons. All the greatest attractions are within walking distance and all kinds of public transportation are just 2 minutes away. Located in the historic district of the city, you will be in the thick of the country’s cultural heritage. This charming area has pedestrian streets which are perfect for a relaxed wander through the city’s charming café’s where you can try famous Hungarian desserts. Within walking distance you have the Danube River, National Museum, Opera, Parliament and University. Budapest's famous thermal baths cannot be missed and are also walking distance. Stop by the Central Market and the Synagogue. Right next door there is a bakery, a hand-crafted chocolate shop, two restaurants, tea houses, pubs, and a grocery store.

Everything was ideal - apartment looks as nice in real life as in the pictures.
Akos was a great host - organising taxis from the airport and giving us his tips on how to spend our stay in Budapest was very appreciated. Very nice guy and made us feel welcome. Apartment perfect size for a couple, fully stocked up with everything you could need and the bathroom was banging.
Location was sweet - 2 minute walk to the river / tube station, easy to access the main andrassy utca and situated on a nice little avenue with plenty of little restaurants and supermarkets surrounding it.
In summary it was a perfect apartment for a couple and if we ever visit Budapest again we shall be returning there 1000% -

The apt. was everything as described. right on Vaci Utica, but very quiet. Although there was trash truck collecting the trash around 5 am. The building is extremely safe, the apt. door looked like a bank vault, with two locks. Inside was very stylish. Perfect for a couple. Spotlessly clean. Akos greeted us so warmly even after waiting for extra hour, due to the delay of our train. He had already bought our train ticket from Budapest to Vienna, when we asked prior to our arrival. Such perfect host. Just hope next time we are in Budapest is not so hot, was over 30'C. The location is close to the river, market, tons of restaurants, public transports, banks, and it has elevator. Highly recommended
