The apartment is centrally located and is very close to ALL attractions Budapest has to offer. It's only 1 minute from the famous Opera House, and Andrassy Street. It is also very close to boutiques, shops on the Vaci street. There is a supermarket on the corner of our street. Bus, metro, streetcars, trams are all within 1 minute walking distance. Restaurants, bars are only 2 minutes walking distance. Thousands of things to do, restaurants, surrounded by upscale shopping, cultural life, and rich history, steps to all theatres, and nightlife. Located in a very safe neighborhood.
Several museums, restaurants, bars are within walking distance. Supermarkets, malls (Western City Centre) by the Train station are conveniently located. Margit Island is 3 stations away on the streetcar. On the island you will find great communal pools, and other sporting facilities. For kids zoo, amusement parks, circus are all conveniently located.
Parking: On the street OR in paying parking garages.
Public transportation: Tram, metro, bus within 1 min walk, excellent public transportation system, although you don't really need it, as everything is within walking distance.
If you are interested in Budapest's rich historical past you can visit museums, the castle, and parliament. By the ferry on the Danube you can visit the beautiful, charming Hungarian towns located nearby such as Szentendre, Visegrad. You can even take the ferry to Vienna. You should also visit one of the world renowned Hungarian Artesian Baths (Szechenyi, Gellert, Rudas) and spas. We can also recommend you great Hungarian or other types of restaurants.

This is a marvelous apartment located almost adjacent to the famous Opera House, the Metro, and within a reasonable walk of Nyugati train station. You will be greeted by a caring, attentive family who will assure that every aspect of your stay is comfortable. The apartment is modern, clean, secure, and well maintained. Spar and aldi groceries are near by, as are many quality pubs, shops, and central sites. We were there for over three weeks and walked nearly every day to Castle Hill (about 20 minutes), but could just as easily taken the nearby Metro and have arrived there in only a few minutes. Really, if you rent this apartment, you have hit the jackpot! Our family won't stay anywhere else while in Budapest!

I recently stayed at this wonderful apartment. I am an extremely picky, "hard to please" person. But let me tell you this apartment was perfect! First of all it is situated in the best district (6th district) by the Opera, very close to the Octogon. This is the most exclusive area on the Pest side, everything is within walking distance. The building is on a side street (not one of those very busy street), so the apartment itself is very quiet. It is almost impossible to find in the citycenter a quiet apartment as most of them are situated off of heavy traffic area, but not this one. The apartment is very well maintained, and extremely clean. The owners (Szabolcs and Erika) are very hands-on and they were ready to accommodate all my requests. The kitchen is very well equipped, they also have an airconditioner (again a rarity in these Pest apartments), and wifi. I did not even mind walking up the 3rd floor. If you come by car (it is a hassle though in Pest as it is nearly impossible to find free parking, plus there is too much traffic anywhere you go, so you end up sitting in car for 30 min, when it would have taken you 10 min to walk, or take the subway) there is a parking garage right next to the apartment. The apartment could accommodate up to 4 people, although I just stayed there with my husband. It was perfect for us. I would highly recommend this place and I can assure you for this price you will not find a better location/accommodation. If you find a cheaper apartment it is because the location is not that desirable. I also dealt with the owner's sister (Timea) they were extremely flexible with payments, arrival/departure time, everything was handled very well and professionally. We will be back, and thank you for the wonderful time!

I am a hungarian girl,who lives in Rome, and lots of time I visit my friends in Budapest. I have few apartments where I always return, and this is one of my favourite. I love to be in center, and more central than this apartment I cannot really imagine. I know Budapest very well, so I am not just a foreigner, I want a place which gives me the possibility to go out and reach every place in walking distance, and this is the one! It is extremely silent and relaxing, the ambient itself is like being at home, so charming and cozy, the receptionist girl is very helpful and friendly, and the apartment itself is clean, tiny in an excellent elegant, very silent location.Dear Timea, I just want to thank you again for this great service, and want to give you my compliments for your beautiful apartment. Be sure, that I will always return as your fix guest in the future. Thank youuu!!!

I'm originally from Budapest and my husband and I go back at least once a year. This was by far the best of the 9 places we've stayed at over the years. The apartment was super clean, within a nice property and in a safe area, which made walking home at night not a problem. The kitchen had a full set of dishes and everything for cooking. There was also a washing machine and dishwasher which we didn't have at any of the other places we've stayed at. The location is excellent right beside andrassy Street with lots of high end restaurants, shopping, and a really cool square called Liszt Ferenc filled with restaurants and patios, within a couple of blocks - It's probably the nicest area in Budapest. The streetcars and subways are a short walk and we didn't bother renting a car. The owners are really nice to deal with and didn't provide us with any "surprises" like we've had in the past - it was exactly as advertised, except a little better! We've already booked two weeks for next summer. Thanks again Timea and Szabolcs.

I stayed at this place for a week. Very courteous and polite neighborhood, with vast attractions such as museums, theaters, bars, shopping districts, restaurants among many others. The apartment was well maintained, clean, but most importantly, the apartment was very quiet. I had a nice time. The owner accommodated all my requests and is a pleasant person to deal with. I will definitely keep the location in mind on my next work trip here.

Apartment is very clean and quiet, very good equipment with everything you need. The owners Timea and Szabolcz are very friendly and helpful. The apartment has perfect location - next to the Budapest Operahouse and metro station Opera (yellow line M1). I recommend this apartment everyone who goes to the amazing Budapest. Next time when I go to the Hungarian capital city I will stay in this apartment again.
