This modern apartment accommodates up to six people in Büches, west of Büdingen (Hesse), a town renowned for its half-timbered houses and medieval stronghold. The master room is welcoming with a full bed and seats. The second sleeping room provides two comfy twin size beds. The last room offers one twin size bed. The living room features a large TV, a CD player, DSL Internet connection, and a dining table for eight people.

More travel info about Buedingen: Buedingen is a town on the eastern edge of the Wetterau region, in the state of Hesse. It is known for its largely intact medieval stronghold and its beautiful preserved timber-framed houses. The town of Buedingen and its originally moated castle are located at the foothills of the Vogelsberg Mountains. Both the castle and the old town were built on centuries-old oak planks, set up on beech props. Therefore the water level has to be kept relatively high so that no air can reach these foundations. The former accumulator manufacturer Sonnenschein, now part of an American company, is the largest employer in Buedingen, but many workers commute daily into the Rhine-Main region.

  This was a beautiful second floor apartment with a balcony overlooking a small garden. The view of the countryside was lovely. There are 2 nice sized bedrooms and a loft with a waterbed. The add says there were 2 bathrooms, but there was only one. This bathroom was very large with a big bathtub but only a handheld shower. The kitchen was small but well provisioned and opened onto the living room/ dining room. The entire unit was spotless, with plenty of towels, etc. This unit was close to several castles, fortresses and some Roman ruins. The owner lives on sight and was gracious and extremely helpful, giving us phone messages, as we had no international phone with us. I would highly recommend this location. Live Like a German sight was also very helpful and professional. This was a great vacation.
