Wonderful place... we had a great time on our 33rd anniversary! Seems strange, with so many 20-somethings in town for the water park, but South Main is a great little retreat for 50-somethings like us as well.

I was so pleased to have come across this South Main property for rent. I was thinking I had to rent two hotel rooms, which didn't facilitate family time. The house at 910 South Main is funky, fun, clean and stylish. There was plenty of room for six, a great kitchen to cook in and several bathrooms to share. There was even a washer and dryer to wash our wet items after rafting. I have already recommended this to several of my friends and will most suredly stay again next time we're in town!

We had a great stay in this wonderful home during the holidays! This home is super comfortable and a pleasure to stay in; it has a really good feel to it. We used this place as a base for our skiing at Monarch and found it to be very conveniently located. It is great to hang out in South Main town in the winter season!

We really enjoyed our weekend at South Main. The rental was well equipped and really nice, better than expected, and right on the Arkansas River. Would be excellent for kayaking or fishing, depending on the season.
The only drawback was a significant amount of uncollected dog poop in the grassy areas, I expected more from a nice community with a dog waste ordinance. -

This was the second time my wife and I have stayed at this wonderful vacation home. This home sits in the middle of an "up and coming" community called South Main in Buena Vista, Co. The area is smack dab in the middle of the mountains with never-ending outdoor opportunities. Some of our favorite aspects of this house are: 1)the proximity of everything around. We are both avid hikers/trail runners and you can literally run out the door to one of the areas best trails. Also, after driving from Ft Collins we like to park the car and walk as much as possible. This home allows this because it's within walking distance to Old Town Buena Vista, to the mighty Arkansas River, and to a wonderful new brewery: Eddieline. 2)Comfort. This home is very inviting. It has a beautiful interior...everything from stainless steel appliances, to granite counter tops, to hardwood floors. There is even artful tilework as you make your way up the stairs to the 2 comfy beds. It even has a washer and dryer if you need to clean some of your clothes after a long hike, kayak, or run. 3)Trendy/Progressive neighborhood. It's like you find a green/trendy front range neighborhood without the attitudes or the masses of people. The community boasts great trails, a couple big boulders for climbing, a small park, and amazing views all around. This will be "the place" within a few years!
4) Friendly/Laid back people: every time we've talked to someone over the phone, to checking in/out, we've been met with a laid back appreciative vibe. This is definately a young, progressive place to stay. We have suggested this house and South Main to numerous people. If you are looking for a place to stay that highlights all that is great in the outdoors while making you feel at home(from great beds, to a full stocked kitchen to do your own cooking, to dropping in on the local brewery to watch the game) this is the place for you. We are actually trying to move there...that's how great it is! -

My experience with Andre in renting this house for a couple of nights was
uncomplicated and professional! Our girl weekend was wonderful! Our main
focus was to have an inexpensive stay and this house was a great deal! The 2
bed and 2.5 bath was perfect! The kitchen was well stocked! The overall decor
of the home was relaxing and fun! Loved all the artwork by Selby! The
neighborhood offered a wonderful restaurant walking distance from the house
(everything on main street BV is walking distance)! A path that runs along the
Arkansas River is just across the street! We will be back next year!
