We were attending a conference in Buenos aires and wanted to stay within walking distance of La Rural. Ps8, located in the Palermo Soho area, proved to be a fantastic option: a well-equipped one bedroom apartment in a building with 24/7 security. This was the first time my husband and I had rented a property and we were quite impressed. Michael Koh was very responsive to all our queries, the property managers in Buenos aires were personable and very helpful. The apartment was clean, comfortable and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. Having a washer / dryer in the apartment was very useful. Excellent restaurants and cafes are located nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the apartment @ 4551 Guatemala - both the location and the apartment itself were great, as were the services provided by Juliana, Luciano, and Diego. The building security staff was very helpful as well, despite the fact that our lack of Spanish was embarrassing.
The information booklet provided in the apartment was very helpful as well, but there are a few items that should
be considered when the contents are next edited. We found Manchego, the little shop at the corner of Guatemala & Ortiz which sells meats, cheeses, condiments, etc., to be a real find. Also the panaderia on Paraguay across from the Disco market, which provided most of our breakfasts and a couple of light dinners. I have a particular weakness for ice cream, and the shop at the corner of armenia & Guatemala has the best I've had in Buenos aires. We also thought Don Julio's to be the best parrilla we've been to in argentina. You'll note I have a reputation - honestly earned - for being a bit food fixated.
You should also know that we were sufficiently impressed with the private car service Ba Luxury Flats provided that we used it to transport us from our hotel in the Retiro area to the airport when we left B/A.

Buenos aires was great. Apartment decor is now in need of an update, especially some paint and a bit more attention to cleaning the corners in the washroom so that mold doesn't build up. Conceirge services were a huge disappointment. Agustina emails that if I request food to be in the apartment upon arrival there was a charge for the service that we could put on our credit card upon arrival. Then another person, Marianna emails us demanding this payment before arrival. Then another person Frederico emails us wanting the security deposit, when I already emailed it to Mariana just days before and on the date originally requested. On check in, with yet another person Lucia, we had to wait before entering the apartment at 3 pm since they weren't ready for us. Then my husband checked the refrigerator, and the food was not there. Lucia demanded I give her a list of food items and the original email before calling her office and spoke with agustina. I just thought what if I hadn't made copies of our correspondence? They came up with some lame excuse that it was the holidays and they were very busy, and they had the maid run and purchase the items. When the maid returned I asked for a bill. She said "no bill" no pay. I was taken aback, but thought perhaps this was Luxury Retreats way of apology. I was mistaken. On check out day, Mariana shows up as if she just rolled out of bed. She looked at the review I wrote that included our concerns and said nothing. She just asked about how New Year's went. Regardless she then demands money for our original food items. There is no bill. Just a demand for money. We gave them the money, but we have no idea the real cost of the food. We left feeling ripped off. Not a good feeling to leave the apartment. This is a great facility, just get better people who know the meaning of customer service to manage conceirge services, or else this nice apartment complex will lose return customers.

At a relatively low cost, this apartment has everything you need from a kitchen with all customary amenities to comfortable bedding and great towels to cable tv, a us phone line (Voip) and cell phone for use, and a washer/dryer all in a secured building one block from a large grocery store. And the location is fantastic. I loved being within walking distance of Malba, the Zoo, Botanical Gardens, and Japanese Gardens, not to mention fabulous restaurants and boutiques and the Subte (subway). I'm just surprised I didn't spend more money on shoes from the area shops ... The only downside to the property is that the walls are a little thin so sometimes I could hear the next door neighbors (muffled).

I booked this apartment for 12 nights in July 2011 orginally through its owner, Mike after he was recommended to me by another party.
As I was coming from australia I was a quite apprehensive in the whole apartment rental process in Ba (i.e paying 50% deposit and balance 15 days before arrival, plus $500 security deposit) given the amount of corruption in argentina and South america. I was quite familar with this as both my parents are from South america! However, after my own research, and my communication with Mike I was confident my reservation with apartmentba was would be ok.
I found Mike to be completely trustworthy and the ultimate professional who was very responsive in answering all of my questions regarding the property and the overall reservation process with the property management company, apartmentsba.
The reservation process prior to arrival including check-in / check-out with apartmentsba went very smoothly and without a hitch.
This apartment is great it has all the facilities you would ever need. It even has a washer/dryer which really came in handy.
The location in Palermo Soho can not be beaten it is fantastic! I can now see why is one of the most requested in the city! There are supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, bars and retail outlets etc all within easy walking distance. Check out the bars and eateries in Plaza Cerrano about 5 blocks away. For an authentic parrilla restaurant and excellent steak / cuts of meat try Don Julio which is only 2 blocks away, you won't be disappointed.
During my stay I did have a minor issue with the wi-fi internet and refrigerator, however these were promptly attended to by maintenance staff after a call to apartmentsba.
Mike has a couple of apartments in the same buidling which is great if you are travelling with a larger family / group.
I can not recommend Mike or his properties highly enough. I will be sure to stay in either PS8 or Ps15 when next in Ba!

Mike's apart is as good as it looks. He equipped it beautifully, it has a beautiful view from the balcony and the bedroom and when I go back I would definitely stay there. Mike is one of the most efficient people I've ever dealt with.

We stayed in the apartment for a week in early December 2010. It was very clean and modern, with beautiful views over Palmero Soho. The location was perfect, within a few minutes walk to boutique shops and many cool restaurants. Best of all, there was an incredible gelato shop less than a block away, which we frequented every day. We would absolutely recommend this apartment.

My wife, 8 month old baby and I stayed twice in your apartments, first for a week and then a couple of weeks later in another apartment for 4 days.They were both fantastic and very clean. We were given a baby cot to use which was excellent and the staff that looked after us were very attentive and helpful. We stayed in Palermo which we loved. They were reasonably priced and if we ever come back to Ba we will stay with you again. Thanks for the great service.

New Building on a quiet street in Palermo Soho. The neighborhood is set in a neighborhood with lots of shopping nearby (a new Disco supermarket is closeby)....and traditional (Don Julios) or trendy (Little Rose sushi)restaurants. The apartment itself is new and well furnished....manuals are available from ApartmentsBA to cover just about every operation from using the washer/dryer to phoning for a taxi....check in/out went very smoothly...
This apartment is a no brainer...if you are in BA and are looking for a great place to stay near the center of action in trendy Palermo Soho with easy access to the subway or to taxis to go downtown..this is a nice option. -

Great location and nice apartment. However, the washing machine had no door which was a big letdown since one of the best parts of renting a condo is being able to wash your clothes. Water pressure was a little weak. The "concerierge service" missed a couple of things like not getting us a car from the airport and we had to wait around to check in which was a bummer after a 14 hour trip. Because of the location though it's a good place.

This was my first trip to Buenos Aires and I loved it. Such a vibrant city. It was hassle free reserving and paying for this property. The property was better than photographed and there was a nice surprise of the balcony having an outdoor table and 2 chairs which was not in the photos on the website. You should update your photos to show them as I utilized them every night.
I'm already planning my trip for next year and will stay here again. -

The apartment is located in a safe neighborhood just a short walk from the subway and so very convienient for getting downtown. There is a doorman to monitor who gets in and out of the building. There is a great grocery store just around the corner and there are restaurants galore. I bit more help with how to work things would have been good. We never did get the oven going nor were we able to figure out how to set and alarm on the clock radio in the bedroom. The roof could be a great place to spend the evening but there was no outdoor furnitue up there. To bad. Overall, it was a great place to stay to see the city. Sheets and towels were clean and the kitchen was well appointed. It's a good value.

I recently stayed at this apartment for new years and enjoyed it very much! The view is amazing, we had a great spectacle of the fireworks.
On the 25th floor there is an almost 360 degree terrace that over looks Buenos Aires and you can even see the "De la Plata River"
It is conveniently located few blocks away from the Serrano Square which is a well known social and shopping scene. Lots of trendy bars/restaurants, shops etc.
I fully recommend apartmentsba.com specially for the personalized and efficent service I received on Micheal's behalf.
Whenever I go back I will definetly use this site

I'd never been to BA before (or S. America for that
matter) and when I go somewhere new I like to “live
like a local” just to absorb the atmosphere better.
Well, to be honest I doubt if many Argentinean’s
can afford to live in Palermo Soho, so this was by
no means typical, but it was great fun and I’d stay
in this same flat again in a heartbeat. I now know
Palermo Soho fairly well and this flat is in an
outstanding location. During the day the streets
are filled with funky café’s ands shops and at
night the café’s spontaneously transform into live
music scenes with seemingly random musicians
folding themselves into oddly coherent bands. The
flat itself is clean, ultra-modern, quiet (a key
attribute for me), and very safe. That said, I
didn’t actually spend much time in the flat as
there’s so much going on right outside. -

I recently rented an ApartmentsBA condo in the South Palermo
district of Buenos Aires for two weeks. It was a nice little one-bdrm
unit with a washer/dryer, small kitchen and a balcony with a great
view (12th floor). The price and location were good, in one of the
better neighborhoods and right around the corner from one of the
best grocery stores. I also liked the fact that they stocked the
refridgerator with groceries based on a list I emailed them -- this
made my first couple days less stressful.
Although it seemed odd to not be able to use a credit card to pay
for the place (Paypal is what they want) -- and I still don't
understand why they cannot take credit cards since the hotels and
restaurants do so -- I can vouch for ApartmentsBA's honesty. I got
my full deposit back without any problem, immediately when i
moved out. And their staff was incredibly responsive and helpful the

My wife and I stayed in Palermo for a week in this apartment, PS8 from apartmentsba.com. I was born in Buenos Aires so, aware of potential scams, did a lot of research. In the end, dealing with someone you haven't met before is always a gamble but it worked very well for us. We ended up having a great stay and can do nothing but recommend both Buenos Aires and apartmentsba.com.
One more suggestion is to check out the Palermo restaurant Freud & Fahler. There is seldom a place that offers excellent creative high end cuisine paired with fabulous regional wines (yes, many highly rated Malbecs to choose from). Have fun!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better place to stay our
1st week in Buenos Aires for our honeymoon. We felt this was so
much better than booking a hotel and the location was perfect. The
communication with the concierge was great and the manual and
magazines the place came with gave us a better idea of what do to
during our stay. The view was spectacular and picturesque. It was
great to wind down from a day of siteseeing smoking a couple cigars
out on the balcony while watching the sunset.
We would gladly use ApartmentsBA again next time we visit Buenos

Regarding the heat. As described in the welcome guide in the apartment the apartment is heated via heat through the floor. You have the ability to control the heat and even turn it off. I wish you would have called our office and we could have easily explained how to do that with the thermostat.
The great thing about the apartment is you can totally control the temperature you want it at or even turn the heat off if you want which is great.
We are so glad you want to come back to this property again. This building is the most requested apartment rental in Buenos Aires and many of our clients come back over and over again.

Stayed here for a week. Glad I did. The area is THE area to stay in. Soho is where all the life and energy is. Apartment was exactly like the photos. Service was great. Free internet and the cell phone came in handy many times. I also used the special phone where I could call the USA every day. It was great! The building always had a security guard around the clock but the area was safe. I got my damage deposit at the check out. Apartmentsba was great. I will stay in this apartment again.

We rented this flat for one week and had a very good experience with apartmentsba. It was our very first time we rented a flat but it was wonderful. Claudia in the reservations department was always professional and answered our emails quickly.
The flat was brilliant exactly as described and the photos were identical to the unit. In fact, the flat was even better. Everything worked and everyone was on time. One night a lightbulb went out and we emailed Claudia about it and it was already changed by the next afternoon. We were impressed by that kind of service.
Our deposit was refunded at the check out of the flat. We would recommend this flat to any of our friends or family and we are planning our next trip for 2010 and will consider staying here again if we decide not to stay in Recolata this time. -

We stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks. Our trip to BA was very enjoyable, and a big reason for this was the accommodation! The apartment was excellent, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the location was absolutely perfect. The team at Apartments BA were excellent, they provided a great service and communication was excellent. We arrived in BA from Sydney around midnight (the flight was 12 hrs late, thanks to Aerolineas Argentinas), but we arrived to a clean and warm apartment and there was a staff member waiting for us at the apartment. The apartment looked the same as it does in the website photos. Few days into our stay we had an issue with the hot water (or lack thereof), however they sent a maintenance man straight away and it was fixed without any problems. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

A great experience right from the start. Communication was quick and easy and the staff always responded to our questions and requests immediately. Booking was easy. Everything went as planned in terms of pick up and checking in. A great little apartment that made us feel like we were in a home away from home.We were half way through our trip through Argentina and were glad to be able to do our own laundry before moving on, so having the washer and dryer was a plus. Also nice to have a kitchen and fridge and do your own breakfast and tea or coffee or late night snacks. Good building. Helpful doorman. Great location. It was just what we wanted for our stay in BA.

located. That is blocks from our favorite restaurant (Freud and Fahler)
and a ton of cafes and more eateries is a great plus, as well that it si
central to many city attractions and very safe. Last word is for the
attentive and responsive rental people who dealt well with our various
requests. If you go to BA for at least 1 week (and who wouldn't) this is

My wife and I stayed in this apartment while travelling on honeymoon. The apartment was clean and had all the mod cons. We very much enjoyed our stay here. It is located in a safe area with lots of good restaurants nearby. The conscierge staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was very clean and was never too crowded. The roof top gardens also have superb views of the city. Overall, we would recommend this apartment.

Great building and location. We stayed in PS15 in April 2008 and found the apartment to be of the highest standard and exactly as shown on the ApartmentsBA website. We chose the apartment due to its location in the heart of Palermo Viejo and most of the best restaurants and shops were within a very short walk. Nice location in a quiet area. Close to many
restaurants, shops and parks. The subway just
some blocks away.
The equipment was great. Layout and design tasty. Wonderful view over Palermo. WiFi perfect.
Very good for two persons.
We are planning to return in November. -

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment - it was well-located, modern
and clean.
The only thing we didn't like was the complicated booking, check-in,
paying, deposit process. Because Apartments BA does not take credit
cards and requires an exorbitant $800 security deposit, things are very
high maintenance and difficult. This process may keep us from using
this company again.
It should be noted that we had some friends rent an Apartments BA
apartment in December as well and they had a positively terrible

We're sorry you found the booking process complicated. Almost all of our clients find it very simple. You simply select the property you want, make a 50% deposit and you pay the balance and security deposit at the check-in. It's the same process as just about every apartment rental company in Buenos Aires.
In your specific case we realize it might have been a bit more complicated as you had already left the USA and were traveling around in South America which is much different than 99% of the people that would be booking ahead of time.
We realized your special situation and that is why we allowed you to make a bank wire for the security deposit after you checked in. We always try to work with our clients to make it easier.
The security deposit might be higher than some companies but our properties are much higher end than most in town. The unit you stayed in there is over u$s 27,000 in furnishings. As long as a client doesn't damage anything or nothing is missing our clients will get 100% of their funds back, which you noticed at the check-out when all funds were refunded.
The security deposit can be left with a credit card (as explained in the initial emails we sent) if you use paypal.com to send in the security deposit which the vast majority of our clients use.
We never like hearing someone had a bad experience. After consulting with you via private email I found the incident you are discussing. We did talk to your friend and resolved a problem they had and we do have an email from your friend that said she would recommend our company based on the fact how we resolved an issue/problem she had so we believe that is important to note.

We found this property on VRBO and could not have been more pleased. The view was awesome. The apartment stylish, clean and well equiped. At one point we lost our passports and were lucky to have the security at the front desk help us figure all that that entails. The location was right near all the action of palermo so we could walk to dinner and to the subte. We were met at the airport by the staff adn driven to the aparmtent this is an additional service which I would highly recommend. They then, took us to the apartment and gave us a good lay of the land. If ever we get back to Argentina we would most definately rent through you again. Thank you for all your help. We were nervous about leaving such a large cash deposit for the security deposit but in the end it was no problem at all...we got it back immediately without delay upon check out.....

This was a really nice new condo very close to Palermo Soho. The staff was professional and spoke great English, so that definitely helped with our limited Spanish. We would use them again.

I stayed in this apartment back in February for 10 days. I came down to Buenos Aires with my friend that stayed in the same building with the same company. We both loved our apartments.
The view was great each day and the area is perfect for what we needed. The building had 24 hour hour security 7 days a week so we always felt safe.
My friend Kathy really loved being able to stay in the same building yet have our own privacy as I'm a little messy.
Everything was perfect and we didn't want to leave!
We love BA! The company was great and helped us quit a bit throughout our stay.
We can't wait to come back next year. -

Definitely the best way to stay in Bueno Aires. Easy to get to and well located . Lots of restaurants and good shopping in the area, Felt very safe with a doorman on duty 24 hours a day.Apartment was nicely appointed and really appreciated the American plug in port. Bring your own laundry detergent is only advice..Thanks for a great and reasonably priced stay.
