Topanga, CaliforniaGreat Location some issues with apartment
Left on 10/07/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We just finished an almost month long stay in Buenos aires. Four of us spent one week in this apartment in September.
Pros: location. We really enjoyed this location. There is a cafe across the street with the best medialunas we had in the whole city. We were able to walk pretty easily to Recoleta Cemetery and the craft market near there on weekends. Around the corner was a health food store where we found hard to find items that we needed. Two blocks away was a store that sold freshly made pastas that were fabulous. Next door is a laundry service place with very friendly people there to help you out and there are many restaurants around.
Size: This apartment is spacious with a large kitchen and ample living space.
Wifi: Good wifi both fast and reliable.
Ground Floor: easy to get to the street and no need to travel in one of those claustrophobic tiny elevators that seem to be everywhere in Ba. Management: Apartments Ba were very supportive and helpful during our whole time in Buenos aires and responsive prior to our arrival.
High Ceilings: The really high ceilings make this apartment feel really open and give it pretty good light.
Cons:
Ground floor: Noisy due to its location right on the main entrance so you hear everyone coming and going. Many bugs especially mosquitos as the large opening under the door and the location close to the front entrance allows them to come right in.
Patio: Pictures make it look lovely, but is really more of a large ashtray for the whole building. Never used it as it felt very dirty.
Mold: There is a definitely mold problem in this apartment especially in the master bedroom and main bathroom. I hope they will fix this.
Second bathroom: This bathroom is off the kitchen and so small it is not really usable except to use the toilet. The sink is actually a large utility sink which did come in handy for washing clothes that didn't go to the laundry service next door.
Smaller bedroom is small and the bed is pretty small too. We had two kids sleeping in it and it was tight. For one person would be fine in there, but two adults would be tight (in my opinion).
Somewhat Rundown: Photos make the apartment look nicer than it actually was. It is nice, but just more rundown than how it looks in photos.
The only reason I wouldn't recommend this apartment to a friend is the mold issue. If that were fixed then I would recommend it.Response from ApartmentsBA - 03/04/2013

Falls Church, VAGreat Apartment in Recoleta!
Left on 01/01/2010 for a stay in November 2009
I had a great experience renting this apartment in Recoleta for 1 month. It had everything I need and the location was terrific. It would be perfect for someone on long term business travel or a couple looking for an alternative to a hotel.
