i recently returned from my trip to argentina.I stayed at end of my trip for one week at Poetry apartment in November/2012.My apt. was studio apartment & it met all our requirments. It was very comfortable, clean, adequately stocked, quite with good access to
public transport.walking distance to Recoleta Cemetery. We arrived on Sunday evening & had no trouble accessing the apartment as they have property manager on sight & he explained the working of all the things in the apartment.Monday morning i met we rest of the staff of the property & they were very helpful & spoke English & gave good guidance for bakeries, restaurant, use of public transport & grocery stores. This was my second visit to Buenos aires & first time ever staying at a vacation rental & i loved it.
i have read several good reviews about this property & they all seem to do justice.I will not hesitate to stay again on my return visit to Buenas aires.I like to thank Brent & Shanina(Yqoina) for their help. They are very friendly & helpful. -

Left on 09/12/2011 for a stay in August 2011
Our family of 4 was looking for a nice rental with some charm for several nights in B.A. We were not disappointed. This lovely recently-remodeled old building in Recoleta was full of old-world architecture with modern features and beautifully appointed with both antique and modern chic. Email communications in setting things up was quick and helpful. We split our stay because we left Ba for a few days and management was accommodating and stored some of our luggage. Great location to restaurants and about 4 blocks from Subte. The on-site staff was wonderful to have for questions and helped when our water heater went out. The owner made sure we had access to another apartment in the same building on our last day because of the water heater. We really appreciated management arranging for airport pick-up after our red eye flight.

The Poetry Building is aptly named as every detail combines to create a harmonious and inviting experience. I cannot say enough about this property and our time there. It was effortless to check in the room was amazing and the location right in the middle of Recoleta (a few blocks from the cemetary) was in a word perfect!!! The rooftop pool was a wonderful surprise and our room/apartment was so comfortable I dreamed of living there! Simply put if you don't stay here you are an idiot! 5 star accommodations at 3 star prices.

Atlanta, GeorgiaLocation, comfort, style and the nicest people in Ba.

Brent, Jimena and the staff at Poetry Building make the place feel like home. You can have all the privacy you want and all the support and service you need. The price is a value for the quality of amenities and comfort of this completely restored classic.
Location in Recoleta is good. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and groceries nearby. Easy to catch a cab from here to anywhere and central for walking.
It's a fairly high traffic street, but its a busy city. I was on top floor and it was quiet when doors were closed.
I highly recommend Poetry Building. -

My husband, my 89 year old handicapped mother and I stayed in the one bedroom apartment. Brent was wonderful as was Pablo the concierge. The apartment was beautiful and well appointed and if we needed anything, Pablo lived in the building and was happy to help. He even made the extra bed for my mother. The location is great, close to the shopping street of Santa Fe and the museums but safe to walk during the day and night. That was important with 'mom' along. We will stay here every time we pass through Ba.

People must only experience Buenos aires one way - by staying at 1280 Junin in Recoletta. The apartment had all the class and elegance that this amazing city has. It's one of the few cities we've been too that we can say without a doubt that we could live in, and its all because of this apartment. A stylish, beautifully appointed apartment in a fabulous location, managed by a fantastic team in Brent and Yanina. Thanks to all for a memorable stay - its not a matter of if we'll be back, but when!!

These appartments are perfect, they are tastefully furnished, bright and roomy. They are in a perfect neighbourhood which has beautiful architechture, many facilties and great restaurants. It is also a good base to explore the rest of the city. The swimming pool is nice to relax after a day in the city heat. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all great value for money and a great alternative to a hotel for both vacationers and business people. Will definately be staying there again next time I am in Buenos Aires.

We had a great time! This property is absolutely beautiful with a home-away-from-home feel to it. The apartment was tastefully decorated with all the perks - from IPod station with downloaded music, Flat screen TV, wine in the refrigerator. The managers were very helpful and accommodating. It is located in a great street with beautiful buildings (great architecture) and just about everything you can think of within walking distance. The best bakery is a few doors down. We love Buenos Aires, the people and a gorgeous place to vacation and live.....The experience had a very European feel to it....Loved it!!!

My husband and I recently traveled to Buenos Aires on vacation for a month
and rented a apartment at 1280 Junin. We were absolutely amazed and
pleasantly surprised with all the wonder features of our apartment and the
location.
Typically we tend to stay at the Four Seasons whenever we travel, however,
because of our extended stay we decided to rent an apartment. This is the
first time we've booked "site unseen" and couldn't have been more pleased.
The location is the best in BA and soon after we felt like locals. Wandering
to the bakery each morning, laundry service across the street, shopping at
the local grocery store around the corner, and excellent restaurants all
within walking distance. It was so clean, safe, charming and convenient.
The apartment itself was comfortable, cozy and full and class. Very stylish!
It was fully furnished and had every amenity you could want, including a
local cell phone. The management was very professional and delivered on
every promise.
I would HIGHLY recommend this property to all of my friends and family!
Thank you again for such a wonder stay, we can't wait to come back!!!
