Located in the Palermo Soho neighborhood, the most vibrant and cosmopolitan area in Buenos Aires, this ultra luxury, two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is the perfect spot to base yourself while staying in Argentina. It is in the heart of the boutique shopping and restaurant hub of Buenos Aires, less than one block from the beautiful Plaza Palermo Viejo and only a few blocks from buzzing Plaza Serrano. The best of Buenos Aires' shops, bars and restaurants are at your fingertips.

This spacious apartment - with almost 1400 sq. feet (130 sq. meters) - is located on the top two floors of a small, modern... building and gets plenty of sunlight throughout the day. The enormous rooftop terrace is an oasis in the the middle of the bustling city - the perfect spot to enjoy drinks and a barbeque with friends. The view of the leafy neighborhood through the floor-to-ceiling windows and from the balcony and terrace is amazing. There is Wi-Fi throughout the flat, as well as air-conditioning and underfloor heating.

The apartment is in an upscale building recently completed in 2007 and features a security entrance door and a modern elevator. There are two bedrooms with king-sized beds, two bathrooms and a sofa bed in the loft that opens onto the rooftop terrace.

The apartment is on the corner of Nicaragua and Armenia Streets in the heart of Palermo Soho, within easy walking distance to the city’s best restaurants, bars and shops.

It is a ten minute cab ride to the central business district and Recoleta, about a fifteen minute cab ride to San Telmo and about 40 minutes to the international airport. The domestic airport is only a ten minute cab ride away.

Our apartment is the perfect alternative for those who don’t want to be cramped in a small hotel room. No expense was spared furnishing this apartment - the furniture is all high-end or custom made.

The main bedroom features a king size bed with a Simmons "Beautyrest" Supreme mattress and custom made headrest. There are floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of the building's courtyard and an air-conditioning unit to keep you cool in summer and cosy in winter. The bedroom also has a luxurious ensuite bathroom, with marble floors and bench-tops and a spacious shower.

The second bedroom features a king size bed with a Simmons "Beautyrest" Supreme mattress and custom made headrest. There are floor-to-ceiling windows with a beautiful view of the tree-lined street and an air-conditioning unit to keep you cool in summer and cosy in winter.

Next to the second bedroom is a full, newly renovated bathroom with a roomy shower and wooden bench top.

The apartment's living area has been designed for comfort. There is a 42-inch flat-screen television with a DVD player and a six-speaker surround sound system and a beautiful L-shaped couch, perfect for relaxing on. The airy room flows into the dining and kitchen area – fully equipped for our guests – and opens out to a balcony over-looking the quiet street. This is a perfect space for entertaining - a sit-down dinner at the dining table, or drinks on the balcony. The living area also features an air-conditioning unit.

Upstairs there is a library filled with beautiful art, books, a sofa-bed, a custom designed desk, high-speed Internet access and Wi-Fi wireless internet. There is also a safe to store any valuables. This beautiful space opens onto an enormous (36 sq m) terrace with a beautiful view of Palermo Soho. No expense has been spared on the decked terrace, which has a pergola, six-seater marble dining table, a barbeque, retro lounge chairs, outdoor shower and a beautiful garden. This is an ideal place to watch the sun set, or to soak up the sun during the day.

  My spouse and I stayed here with two of our sons recently. As regular hotel visitors, this was a first vacation rental for us and the comparative benefits were therefore probably more prominent. We loved the initial arrival process, with a designated driver alex there to pick us up at the airport, and the agent Pablo there to welcome us at the apartment and provide a quick orientation. We specifically liked the good security of the complex, the privacy and that 'home-from-home' feel, the underfloor heating (it was winter!), the complimentary wireless internet access point, cellphone for local use and initial stock of condiments and beverages in the fridge. The ample outdoor patio areas are also great pluses, although we did not really use them because of the weather. The suburb itself (Palermo Soho) is vibrant and interesting, with many great restaurant and entertainment options within easy walking distance. The only negative of the area (which can hardly be ascribed to the apartment owners!) is the filthy pavements that can best be described as dog litter areas! As for the apartment, we will definitely rent it again when we next visit Buenos aires.

  Firstly apologies for this very late review, but this trip was organised by our friend for her husband's 60th birthday and she dealt with the owner annabelle after I suggested that we look at renting an apartment having found this fabulous place...then today it popped into my mind to read her review and I found there wasn't one for our stay, so I'm doing it now.
  
  The location of Palermo Soho, is perfect for getting around and also has it's own lovely neighbourhood of bars, restaurants, a lovely park, supermarket etc., yet the apartment is wonderfully quiet & peaceful. There are 2 bedrooms with large comfortable beds...one with an en-suite and the other with a bathroom beside it. Upstairs there is area with sofa bed and patio doors leading out to the roof garden area, there is also a safe up there for valuables There is a full kitchen plus all utensils etc. and another small roof patio area leading off from the open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen area and a fabulous air-con machine that cools in a second.
  
  The photos listed are totally accurate, you will not be disappointed. I would book this apartment again in a heart-beat, my friend said dealing with the owner was very straightforward and spot-on with emails, confirmations, deposits, PayPal options etc...
  
  This was our first experience with Tripadvisor's "Vacation Rentals" and it was a major success and of course compared to staying in hotels, this way of hoildaying is very good value and gives you a real "home from home" feeling. We stayed in the apartment for 13 nights and loved every second of the whole argentine experience.
  
  Buenos aires is a beautiful city and the people are fabulous...if you can manage a bit of even basic Spanish, then all the better, as showing effort goes a long way...Enjoy..!!!

  We just returned from a great visit to Buenos aires. We had the pleasure of staying at this property. The property is as beautiful as it looks online! Even though you are in the heart of Palermo Soho the apartment is surprisingly quiet.
  
  Annabelle the owner and Pablo the local contact are just wonderful to deal with! I could not give this property a higher rating. We are already planning our next visit in May of 2012.

  If you are looking for a gorgeous apartment in the best location in amazing Buenos aires, then this is the place for you. My husband and I stayed here with another couple and loved every second. The apartment is stylish, spacious and modern but is still full of charm and character. There are 2 good sized double bedrooms downstairs, one with ensuite and the other with a bathroom next door. The ground floor also has a balcony, kitchen, dining area and living area. Upstairs is a second lounge area with an amazing deck, complete with BBQ and roof-top views. Also, the apartment is quiet, even though it is right in the centre of all of the action. If you are looking for the perfect Buenos aires apartment and experience, this is it.

  The apartment in Nicaragua is well appointed and located. Surrounded by great restaurants, clubs, shopping- everything in walking distance in a very friendly neighbourhood. We had a great eight days there and our appt was always a pleasure to come home to. Not too noisy for afternoon sleeps - a mustin argentina when dinner usually gets going at 10.30 -11pm!

  Fantastic apartment with wonderful roof terrace, in top location

  We were two couples enjoying our first visit to Buenos aires and adored this apartment. The floor plan worked extremely well and the roof top terrace, with local views of Palermo, was a highlight. The owner has decorated and presented the apartment in a tasteful and interesting style and our dealings with her made our organisation of our stay smooth sailing! The apartment could not have been better located in the most interesting part of B.A, the heart of Palermo. The owner provided us with a tonne of information, including fabulous, local restaurants. We have since recommended this apartment to other australian friends who have been equally enthusiastic. We could not have enjoyed our stay more and will certainly be back.

  This apartment was great - very comfortable and well appointed, our stay there could not have been better. The location within walking distance to amazing restaurants, cafes and bars was extremely easy, and relaxing with a quiet drink on the roof terrace in the afternoon was something special...I would highly recommend this property (and have already!).

  My partner & I and another couple stayed in this apartment for about a month. It was fantastic! The furniture and decor was tasteful, spotless and very comfortable. It was a fabulous base from which to explore Ba. Lots of great restaurants & bars close by. We really enjoyed entertaining on the roof top deck which was great for sunset drinks or relaxing during the day.
