This lovely property has been described as one of the finest apartments in all of Buenos Aires. The apartment is located in one of the most upscale areas of the famous Recoleta neighborhood. World class shopping, some of the city’s best restaurants, and all manner of services and attractions are just a short walk. This property and location truly provide a one of a kind Buenos Aires experience.
The spacious apartment occupies the entire 5th floor of a fully restored turn of the century French building. The professionally designed interior features custom furniture and appointments by Roche Bobois and Missura. It also includes a... custom designed billiards table with an additional fully fitted table tennis top. The interior living area measures 380sq meters (4,090 sq ft) and also includes a lovely shared rooftop terrace with all manner of colorful plantings, seating for 12, and a fully equipped barbecue station. This is a nice area with beautiful ambient lighting perfect for entertaining.
The apartment sleeps eight comfortably with 3 full bathrooms and a beautiful powder room convenient to the central living areas. The fifth floor is accessed by two elevators – one exclusive to residents and guests and the other for service personnel. There is also a beautiful spiral staircase that winds it’s way through the entire building providing access to the apartment and the terrace.
Living Room:
This includes French doors and decorative fireplace with beautiful marble mantle. The seating area includes a custom reclining leather sofa by Roche Bobois with seating for up to 12. Two additional Roche Bobois raffia and silk chairs combine for a total seating area of 14. This area adjoins both the Billiard/Media Room and Dining Room through separate sets of French doors.
Billiards / Media Room:
This room includes a custom billiards table with a separate table tennis attachment. The room has a 42" plasma television with cable. A set of French doors opens to a tree lined avenue.
Dining Room:
The spectacular space includes a custom mahogany dining table with leather banquet seating for up 16 people. Beautiful mirrors and an antique French nickel chandelier add further enhancements. This area adjoins both the kitchen and the living room and includes French doors opening to the outside.
Kitchen:
The kitchen includes all stainless appliances with a built in dishwasher and marble surfaces on both floors and countertops. There is a Nespresso coffee machine with initial supply of coffee and all manner of small appliances. Glassware, flatware and china provide service for up to 14. A welcome basket of snacks and beverages will be supplied upon arrival.
Master Bedroom:
This room has recently been refurbished with silk dupioni curtains, four poster King bed, Ann Gish bed linens, and custom designed Missura mirrors. It also features a soothing cream palette and black out blinds that allow for privacy and relaxation. A complete custom walk in closet with built in drawers, compartments, shoe racks and hanging rods adjoins the bedroom through the master hallway.
Master Bath:
This is a very spacious marble bathroom with soaking tub and separate rainfall shower. It includes a French nickel chandelier, his and hers vanity sinks, heated towel rack, bidet, and toiletries cabinet.
Second Bedroom:
This room includes a king bed with Egyptian sheeting and a plasma television and DVD player. The room also has 2 French doors that lead to a small terrace. A collection of DVDs is available for use. Shared full bathroom.
Third Bedroom:
This room includes a queen bed with Egyptian sheeting, ample closet space, and French doors opening to a small terrace. Shared full bathroom
Fourth Bedroom:
This room is elevated and has two custom twin bunk beds, a built in desk with Wii game system and plasma television exclusively for use with the Wii system. A full bathroom is also on this level.
Maid service is provided twice weekly. Additional services such as in-home massage therapy and pantry stocking are available upon request. Two mobile telephones are also provided.
