The appartmenet is near the Subte (metro/subway), bus, grocery store, Teatro Colon, Avenida 9 de Julio and Corrientes.
The appartment offers the luxury of a home at a hostel price. It has very confortable beds... Cable TV (eventhough we did not get to use it since there was so much to do in Ba), stereo system for MP3 and very good internet.
The building is well maintained with security and has fun antique elevators.
Christine, the owner, was very helpfull and generous. Many attentions... and great after sale service!
We liked the place so much we extended our stay and had to force ourselves to leave the city!

The booking process was straightforward. Christine (owner of apartment) responded to emails quickly and with all the information we requested. Christine was most helpful in arranging taxis, reservations, suggesting stores for groceries, restaurants, and sights to see. She was willing and eager to share her knowledge of Buenos aires with us. We walked everywhere we went in Buenos aires, as we found her apartment to be fairly centrally located.
We enjoyed her company and spent a very enjoyable evening with her at a local restaurant on our last evening in Buenos aires.
I would highly recommend Christine and this property to you. -

This place has large rooms, good beds, good aC, high ceilings, and is out back of a building on a central avenida close to Teatro Colon and the city centre. Laundry, supermarkets, cafes are all close by, Recoletta parks, cultural centre, etc. just 10 minutes walk. Owner is helpful and provides loads of info. The building is old and maintenance work meant water off for a couple of days when we were there (discount on rent provided). Cleaning a bit of a problem as well. WiFi is excellent, computer is broken. This is a densely populated working building so expect noise from dogs, neighbour running a laundry service etc...a gritty, urban, Argentinian experience in the midst of some great culture. This is a bargain location, not deluxe.

This is our second stay in this apartment, and we highly recommend it. Christine, the owner, is very professional in the organization of the rental, and she is more than helpful in making the stay very easy. The apartment is located in a building in a very busy avenue, but it is situated at the rear of the building, facing the center of the block, and it is very luminous and quiet. It is quite large with two well appointed bedrooms. The living room and kitchen are very light and the vibes of the flat are such that it is nice just sitting there. The internet is fast, and cell phones are included. Of importance in this city is that the area is quite safe, there is a caretaker on site during the day, and we have walked even at night in the surrounding streets. During the day, one can walk all over the center from the building. Countless cafes and restaurants are within walking distance, and Christine is helpful to help select (also check the online Guia Oleo). We hope to be able to stay there again in the future.

We had a great week in Buenos aires staying in this wonderful apartment. It has a central location but is set back in the building so there is no Street noise.
The apartment is very clean and comfortable and beautifully furnished.
Christine went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable and was very helpful when we need some local assistance. I happily recommend this apartment and would stay there again without hesitation. -

Estamos muy agradecidos con la dueña del departamento la Srta Christine fuimos cinco los ocupantes y nos sentimos muy cómodos, cumplió con todo lo acordado, el lugar muy bonito, limpio, bien ubicado, lugar seguro, ademas ella es una persona muy hospitalaria y que demuestra interés por el bienestar de los residentes en su departamento.
El contacto lo hice por internet y lo que se ofrece por ese medio es exactamente lo que se encuentra.
Recomiendo a quien quiera visitar a Buenos aires se hospede en este departamento en el cual se sentirá muy a gusto y con las comodidades como si estuviera en su propia casa. -

We thoroughly enjoyed renting this unit recently in Ba. It was clean, safe and very well decorated. The location is outstanding and close to bus and other public transportation. Christine could not have been more helpful and engaging.

We feel so lucky to have found this place on the Internet! The apartment is well situated close to the Opera House on the outskirts of Recoleta . Light and airy, the bedrooms are big and away from any traffic noise. The apartment is on the third floor, but there is a lift in the building.
But the bonus of the rental is the owner Christine who,from first contact via email, was so helpful. She gave us lots of advice and was available to make telephone calls on our behalf, booking trips etc. She was good company and we enjoyed the time spent with her, sampling argentinian wine! -

Since my boyfriend is not that good in writing compliments (my life is totally complimentless), I will continue. Christine is our Goddess from now and on!!! She's amazing, kind, honest and just visually stunning. We got help in every possible aspect: excellent suggestions, recommendations etc. Apt is immaculate, clean, stylish, centrally located and just fantastic from every aspect. We will do our best to relocate Christine and her apt to NYC. Jesus, I will trade my boyfriend for her in a heartbeat as well.
Of course will use her service again and again until she gets sick of us and lock us up in Ricoletta cemetery ( with Evita of course) (S)

Wonderful location. Easy to get around. The owner provides a very convenient list of stores,restaurant listings and even the closest laundromat. The apartment is at the back of the building and after a full day of walking around Ba it was a pleasure to come back to a quiet apartment. All the necessities are looked after (including a selection of wine upon arrival.) It was a real treat to have a laptop to keep in touch with family and friends.

We actually stayed for three nights in March, and then 3 nights in april of this year. As the previous reviewers have mentioned, the apartment is spacious and comfortable. Christine is there promptly when you arrive and leave. She provides pick-up service from the airport which is competitively priced with any arrangements you can make on your own. Thus, I would go through Christine for your travel arrangements to and from the airport. The apartment is a short walk to two good grocery stores that have an excellent selection of goods and produce, including a fine selection of argentinean wines. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the downtown shopping area, and also to Recoleta. Don't miss the San Telmo arts and crafts show on Sunday. We went on both Sundays, and we walked to it from the apartment. The fair runs for many blocks, and it is closed to traffic on Sundays. We enjoyed our stay, as evidenced by our return to the apartment in april.

We stayed for just under two weeks in this flat. It is very spacious, bright and fun. It is in a great location and within walking distance of lots of great places. Apartment has everything that you need and more. Fantastic bath and comfortable beds and very quiet. Christina was great and helpful with anything we needed. It is designed very originally and is great value for the space and quality. Would definitely stay here again.

West Chester Paexpansive apartment rather than small hotel room

My husband and I stayed in Christine's delightful apartment for 4 nights in early March of 2011. We would have stayed longer but the apartment was booked for the week-end. It was in a very central location and we walked to most of the sites. It is only a few blocks from the Opera House and I highly recommend a tour - it is spectacular.
The 2 bedrooms are large with very comfortable beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room is lovely with high celings, large windows that can be opened for the breeze and comfortable seating.
All this should be enough but I cannot speak too highly of the graciousness and helpfulness of our hotess Christine. She provides a lap top computer for use and 2 cell phones. It was wonderful for us to be able to contact our daughter who is studying in Buenos aires. Christine is very knowledgeable about Buenos aires and is happy to share what she knows.
It was difficult to leave the apartment for smaller rooms in hotels in other parts of the city. However, it was a wonderful place to be introduced to the city and I cannot recommend this apartment too hightly.
