A 200 year old chapel converted to a high standard beautiful 3 bedroom cottage featuring stone arched doors and windows, wooden floors, open fires and original stained glass windows.
The cottage is located on the Wye Valley walk, over looking the river Wye and directly under Builth Castle motte. It is a mere 5 minute walk from the Royal Welsh Showground and is close to a selection of restaurants and pubs. Although it is in the town it is located in a quiet square of 4 properties and with sheep grazing the castle grounds next door it has the feel of the country with the convenience of the town.

We are located 100 meters from Builth town centre & 600 meters from the Royal Welsh Showground.
If arriving from the North or East, enter Builth Wells crossing the bridge. At the T-Junction turn left (towards Brecon) and pass the front of the Wyeside Cinema and Theatre. Take your first turn right after about 70 meters into Castle St. Turn right in to the car park after 15 meters.
If from the west enter Builth Wells along the one way system until you pass the park and come to a T-junction with the bridge on your left hand side. Turn right and immediate left (towards Brecon)and pass the front of the Wyeside Cinema and Theatre. Take your first turn right after about 70 meters into Castle St. Turn right in to the car park after 15 meters.
If from the south (Brecon) as you enter Builth turn left after passing White House farm. Turn right in to the car park after 15 meters.

From the emails of the rental to the farewells at the railwaytation, all I can say taht everything was top class. The chapel was wonderful, stylish and there was nothing that we missed, everything was thought of and the friendliness of the Fosters was too perfect to be true. We loved every minute!

As this is a new property we were lucky to book late for the New Year. The Cottage is fantastic combining character, luxury and comfort. Talking to the owners I think we were only the second guests in (the first ones over christmas) but there were no teething problems. Looking out of the windows at the views, sheep grazing on the castle mound, it was like being in the country. But a short walk away there are plenty of good pubs and restaurants (especially recommend the Greyhound). Builth is a beautiful and friendly town with the stunning river Wye running right through the middle of it. Fantastic walks by the million all around.
The cottage has every thing equipment wise and the stained glass windows and arched doorways add that special something. Even though the outside temperature was ridicuously cold (-12 at times!) the cottage was cosy and with the real fire roaring on an evening it was heaven.
Thank you to the owners for a very special place, We will be coming back.
