The apartment sleeps five people and has one family bedroom, one twin room, a family bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, breakfast bar and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking and shared use of the owner's garden with outdoor furniture. Just a mile from the coast, Derrybeg Apartment is a superb holiday home for a family looking to spend time on the beach.
Amenities: Oil central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Ample off road parking. Shared use of owner's garden and decked area with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 min walk. Note: This property is situated above the owner's hairdressing salon which is open Wed-Sat inc.
Region: The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.
Town: The Irish-speaking district of Gweedore or 'Gaoth Dobhair' consists of the villages Bunbeg, Derrybeg, Dunlewey, Crolly and Brinlack. Located below Mount Errigal, Donegal's tallest mountain, Gweedore is framed by mountainous scenery on one side, while on the other is the Atlantic Ocean with a coastline made up of sandy beaches and rugged cliffs. Close by, Ards Forest Park and Glenveagh National Park, Ireland's largest National Park, both provide great days out, and with a golf course and river, lake and sea fishing, there is something for everybody in the district of Gweedore.

Apartment is wonderful, well equiped and comfortable. Just a pity the coastline is spoiled...yes stunning, but overun with empty properties, boom and definitely bust.
