this beautiful 2 bedroom 3 bathroom villa with its own pool and child safety pool barrier is on a private corner plot on a 4 star complex in the gorgeous fishing village of burgau on the western algarve in a national park its a two minute walk into the village with its fantastic bars and restaurants.the fantastic beach is a 300 metre walk .we also have available with the villa two top of the range mobility scooters for our less able guests.there are 5 world class golf courses within a 15 minute drive..we accept most credit cards and paypal.the villa boasts top class furnishingsand every conceivable extra

We stayed at this villa 30/09/11 - 7/10/11 and had a lovely week. The villa is very well equipped, furnishings very comfortable (particularly the beds!) quality fittings in bathroom/en suites, comfy sofa's, lovely pool. We made good use of kitchen facilities as had our 6 month grandaughter with us and on a budget. Very peaceful location overlooking fields, 5 mins walk to Burgau with a good selection of restaurants and lovely bay. Didnt get to meet owner, but he kindly arranged a pick up from Faro as our designated driver had to abandon holiday - Terry who met us and returned us back to Faro was a gentleman (and much cheaper than taxi!). A very relaxing week in a beautiful traditional location - would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed two extended stays at the villa; one for three winter months in 2007-08 and a two month visit in the spring of 2009. We greatly enjoyed both stays. The villa was equipped with everything that we needed. The Wifi internet was convenient for keeping in touch with friends and family. We used the kitchen quite a lot and found the appliances (cooker, microwave, dishwasher, clothes washer,etc.) all modern and in good order. We enjoyed eating meals on the outdoor patio. Both Burgau and the nearby town of Lagos have a good variety of restaurants and cafes where we sampled tasty Portuguese food.
The villa is an end unit so there is a good sense of privacy. Next to the villa is a lovely farm and from the upstairs balcony, we had wonderful views of the beautiful countryside with cattle grazing.
Dave and Linda provided everything to make our stays very comfortable and they gave us lots of useful information about shops, restaurants, sightseeing, etc. Would definitely recommend this villa as a perfect spot for seeing Portugal up close. -

Directions: google map directions provided completely inadequate. Required detective skills to locate.
Check in: easy.
Comfort: modern villa with lovely pool. Although all the pictures online are not of this villa. Patio furniture had seen better days although inside furniture was nice. Small kitchen.
Location: Within walking distance of a good beach although online description is as the crow flies and therefore not accurate. Easy drive to airport and neighbouring villages.
Cleanliness: average
Service: warm welcome, but had no dishwasher for the whole of the two weeks and no service engineer. Despite having found the issue and reporting it on day two. We don't wash up at home so I don't see why we should on holiday - it was one of the reasons we chose this villa.
Wifi: wireless from owners villa at oppoiste end of street. Very poor signal, continual drop out. Only able to maintain signal from bedroom window.

im sorry about the dishwasher we we tried on numerous occasions to get the engineers out they promised they would come but continually let us down and in turn your family,as for the wifi we have never had a complaint about it in fact all who have stayed there didnt have a problem with it once again sorry you had problems we will do our utmost to to rectify the problems you have highlighted . as for the lounge furniture the website states clearly that it has been renewed as it was light in colour and was continually getting stained -

We were recomended this villa by friends for our first stay in Burgau and were certainly not disappointed. The villa was beautiful and comfortable; it had everything you could need and was in a suberb private location. We couldn't have wished for more from our first visit to Burgau. Dave and Linda were highly thought of in the village, they were extremely helpful and were on hand at all times if needed. We have already booked again for next year and this time will be taking my elderly father as mobility scooters are provided if needed! Dave thinks of everything!

We stayed at Daves villa for the second time this year and to say it was brilliant would be an understatement !
The quaint location is so nice its like being in another world , and situated nicely to visit the other resorts nearby - we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility and came home totaly relaxed -

From the moment we arrived the service was excellent, the owners could not do enough for you and nothing was too much trouble. The villa had everything you could want from dishwasher to large flat screen tv with sky included, and although it's a two bedroomed property it is very spacious.It is in a perfect location on the edge of the village which make for a very peaceful holiday yet only a couple of minutes stroll to the heart of Burgau. The kids loved the pool most of all although it was a little bit cold due to the time of year. We would definitely book again and have no reservations recommending this villa to family and friends.

Excellent house in a great part of the world. Quiet and the weather was really good. You'll need a car to get about but in Burgau itself there is enough within walking distance. Highly recommended.

The villa is very comfortable and all of the 'extras' that made us choose it were certainly there (wifi, large TV, DVD player, superking bed etc). The plot is excellent - right on the end of the development, very private and with nobody directly overlooking it. Beds are super-comfy and the Landlord strikes a perfect balance - helpful, friendly and readily available, but leaves you to enjoy the villa in private.
The location is really great - a lovely village with all amenities a short stroll away and lots of lovely restaurants.
I have only two comments to make that are slightly negative - the villa could do with a deep clean to get rid of cobwebs etc, but to be fair we stayed at the end of the season and there may not have been a chance to do this and give it a fresh lick of paint in places. Also, and for no reason that I can figure out, the photos advertising the villa are not of this villa at all, but probably of another one on the development. It is very similar but the room layouts are different. -

Very impressed with the villa. 2 good sized bedrooms. Decent pool. Nice modern kitchen and good sized dining room/lounge area. Abundance of bathrooms! Great electric shutters to keep the sun out first thing in the morning. Also air con which was fantastic as it was in the 40's when we were there (Sky TV, cd and flat screen tv if you get too bored aswell!)
I have been to Burgau 4 or 5 times so I know what to expect. It is not too touristy yet but is expanding. When I last came this villa wasn't even built!
The villa is about 7 mins walk from beach and 5 mins from the small town centre. Some nice restaurants and cafes. Particularly the Casa Grande 10 mins walk- lovely food and patrons.
