Full of character, this independent apartment was converted from a former stable with the addition of a round tower.

    EN LA MARRE is an early 19thC farmhouse on the estate of Chateau de Dracy in a truly tranquil, rural location situated 45 kms from BEAUNE, 1hr 15 minutes from DIJON, 30 minutes from CHALON SUR SAONE and 20 minutes from AUTUN. The small country town of COUCHES is 4 kms where there are basic facilities - a bank with cashpoints, post office, 2 supermarkets, a pharmacy, 2 doctors' surgeries, 4 restaurants and a bakery. There is ample car parking on the property but own transport is necessary

      En la Marre -- once tasted never forgotten!

      The first time we stayed in Pigeonnier was during 2001 and during that 2 week holiday we fell in love with the peace and calm of En La Marre. So much so that over the last 10 years we have come back to stay every year and have now experienced the delights of all 6 apartments. Each apartment is different but they all share the benefits of being within this rural complex, so you have the company of the other guests (if that is what you want), the swimming pool and the help and local knowledge of your residential hosts Chris & Judith. In the local area there is so much to do with visits to mediaeval towns, walks along rivers or canals or through the countryside with the vineyards changing character and colour on a monthly basis, wine tasting, great restaurants --- the list goes on and on!!
