Burnett Heads, Queensland, Australia
Additional Location Information
Bundaberg is situated on Queensland's Burnett River, 378km North of Brisbane. This is sugarcane country and home of the world famous Bundaberg Rum. Swirling fileds of green sugarcane beckon you to explore the back roads and peaceful scenery of our beautiful countryside. Bundaberg is a rich agricultural area, and grows enough sugar to meet the supplies of one fifth of Australia's usage. The tropical weather here and plenty of sunshine makes the area ideal for growing large supplies of fruit and vegetables, which can be bought fresh at the local sunday markets. Discover clean stinger-free beaches and cosmopolitan cafes, 4WD in one of eight coastal National Parks or just sit back, relax and enjoy a spot of fishing - all without the crowds.
