Welcome to our authentic log cabin. A private road brings you to the top and end of the roadwhere this large 3 story lodge sits on 3 treed acres.From the huge covered porches you can enjoy spectacular views of 4 mountain ranges. There is also a creek that borders the property, running down the hill and emptiing into the private pond.

Enjoy the spaciousness of our 4500 square foot 8 bedroom, and 7 full baths..The lodges interior featuresn huge vaulted log beam ceilings. It was also professionally decorated in a mountain lodge and Americana theme.with antiques and era replica pieces. Feel the ambiance of a truly authentic log cabin that w...as built with trees harvested from the property,The lodge has a rustic type atmosphere, but includes all the modern conveniences and amenities you would expect in a new custom home.

Three of the eight bedrooms are Master Suites with their own private bathroom. Each is equiptted with it's own Jetted Jacuzzi tube, and oversized custom tile shower.All of the other five bedrooms have a full bathroom with an oversized tile shower located adjacent to them. All of the bedrooms have authentic log beds, including 1 king, 5 queens, 1 double, and 2 sets of twin bunkbeds. We also have 6 extra twin matress with linens that can be moved from room to room as needed. High quality bed lines and bath cloths and towels are provided and are unique to each room.

The main area living room with it's 20 foot tall log beam ceiling is completely with overstuffed leather sofas and chairs. This room is also equippted with cable television with a DVD/VCR player. This level also includes a huge fully furnished kitchen with service to accommodate up to 26 people.The kitchen is big and roomy, large enough for many cooks to work at once. There is a glasstop stove and oven, microwave dishwasher and two refridgerators with icemakers ready to fullfill the needs of your large group. The main dining table in the kitchen seats 20 comfortably, and was crafted with timbers harvested from this property. A seperate dining table is located adjacent to the kitchen and can seat an additional 6 people if needed.

The down stairs greatroom features a 52 inch flat screen TV with cable, DVD/VCR player, play station two, and a surround sound audio system. This spacious room is decorated in a mountain theme and has three overstuffed leather sofas, chairs and ottomans. You may want to just sit on the raised hearth and enjoy the heat from the stove while watching TV or reading a book. There is a wet bar in this room that also has a small refridgerator. There is also a fullsize pool table in this huge room.This level also includes the bunkhouse room with two sets of bunkbeds. There is a full bathroom with tub and shower, as well as a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

The lodge also includes 4 additional TV's with seperate cable tuners, and a wireless network to meet your needs.

Outdoors in a covered porch area is the hot tub that easily accomodates eight. The additional huge covered porch has rocking chairs, a pic nic table, and a gas bar-b-que for your outdoor enjoyment.For those of you that enjoy just sitting around a fire we have an old fashioned wood burning fire pit, you can sit around on the wood benches with views of the 4 mountain ranges.There is also a large wooden play set for the kids entertainment as well as huge boulders to climb and explore.You can also take a hike up one of the mountain trails (about 1 mile) for a 360 degree view of four states.

Centrally located about 30 minutes to Ashville and The Biltmore Estate, there is also ski resorts at Wolf Laurel and Mount Mitchell. The SouthToe River is located just a few minutes away where there is tubing, rafting as well as many sandy beach areas. There is horseback riding as well as mountain biking in the area. Many of our guest love driving the Blue Ridge Parkway discovering the many sites and towns such as Linville Caverns, Little Switzerland, and Grand Father Mountain.

Additional Location Information

This is a rural mountain area with log cabins located on seperate parcels. There is also a 100 acre parcel surrounding the property to hike and explore.

$500.00 REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT DUE AT TIME OF SIGNING CONTRACT,. DEPOSIT IS CONVERTED TO A DAMAGE DEPOSIT UPON ARRIVAL. USUALLY RETURNED WITHIN 2 WEEKS.
