A stone's throw from the charming town of Burnsville, river front cottage offers beautiful views of the Black Mountains. A large covered deck with access to a private swimming area on the South Toe River make this cabin a dream for families and couples alike. Located in a very rural community with winding roads and famland, the house is relatively secluded. The interior of the home was recently refurnished with new bedding in the queen room and a comfortable sofa and two recliner chairs in the greatroom. This is a rural community, known locally as "The Celo Area" - of the beautiful South Toe River Valley - with long distance views of the famous Black Mountains of Western North Carolina. There are hundreds of activities within a 50 mile radius, suitable for all ages. Nature lovers will enjoy, extensive hiking via well mapped and maintained trails, swimming in the pristine waters of the South Toe River or rafting/kayaking or fishing for native trout. Major attractions such as Mt. Mitchell State Park (highest peak in the eastern U.S.); Grandfather Mountain (features a mile-high swinging bridge) and home to the annual "Highland Games"; Linville Falls and Caverns; NC Mineral Museum; Folk Art Museum, and the incredible Biltmore House in Asheville are all wonderful day trips. Parking at the cabin is ample for two vehicles.
