This lovely Regency house was built in 1830 as a hunting lodge for Lord Carbery. It is surrounded by its own 6 hectare estate on the edge of a beautiful lake. The lake is a famous beauty spot, 4km from Skibbereen, and 4km from Baltimore in West Cork, Ireland.
Carbery Lodge has a private shingle beach, and the estate is located in a conservation area, noted for its marine life and outstanding natural beauty.
Additional amenities include: game room, indoor games, smoking allowed inside, ground floor bed & bath, heating, wheelchair access.

You can fly Aer Lingus or Ryannair to Cork airport, which is 85km from Skibbereen. You can also take the Swansea Cork Ferry through the night. The crossing is 8 hours unless you drive to Pembroke and take the Hovercraft or the Ferry to Rosselaere (crossing is two and a half hours). Driving from Rosselare to the house will take you about 4 hours.
