Last year we where in Niloufar with our family, what a great vacation!
This is the most beautiful villa we have ever seen! Every room was very private located and stylish. This place is heaven on earth.
Our big compliments to the staff also. All so kind and helpfull.
We just loved the food! Every day asked the chef make a indonesian dish for us and every time he suprised us again with fantastic dishes. Every morning fresh juices! There are also nice restaurants close to the villa if you like to go there but the food at the villa is so delicious...We where with our family 8 adults 2 kids and a baby. This is the perfect place to go with a family.

The experience we had in this villa was not simply amazing.
We were 8 people and spent 10 days in Niloufar. The villa is very beautiful, but not like the pictures we saw on internet. This place is old, and very expensive for what you get.
As soon as we arrived we had electricity problems, in 2 rooms the fan did not work and impossible to have air conditioned, in another room no hot water, at such a price... Everything has to work.
The rooms were not very clean, for 10 days we had the same flowers in the rooms, we had the same table sets for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the same napkins... They never changed them.
Regarding the food we can just say that was not something special. The chef did not use his creativity. Every time we decided to have dinner, We noticed they cooked one hour before and after they had to reheat in the microwave!!!
We asked for a BBQ and the food was cold they started cooking at 7.30pm and we had dinner at 8.30pm.

Thank you for sharing your comments with us and I am so sorry to hear that you have not had a pleasant stay at Niloufar. I am very surprised by your review though especially since you stayed for quite a while at the villa. You could have brought issues to our attention while still at the villa and I would have done my best to remedy these issues and hopefully the remainder of your stay would have been better. Nonetheless, I do appreciate your point of view and have discussed your feedback with the villa’s owner. You may like to know that we have done renovation projects after your departure and continue to do small projects whenever the villa is available. Regarding the food, I apologize if the Chef is not up to your standards, although this is a very personal matter and most of our guests seem to enjoy the food at the villa.

If you are worried that the photos may not be exactly how Villa Niloufar will be - you are absolutely correct! The place itself is twice as good as the photos!!! It really was the most relaxing holiday I have ever had. I go to Bali 3 times a year...this Villa is superb! Take your best mates and make it an annual trip!! Thats what we are about to do!! Loved it!

I have stayed at some of the world's best hotels around the world but I have to say that my stay at Villa Niloufar far surpassed these by miles. The design of this villa is breath-taking not to mention the Garden Of Eden it is set in. A towering canopy of luscious trees surround the villa, with a rich vegetation of beautiful flowers and fauna that are over flowing with butterflies, birds, and dragonflies that leave you mesmerized but their profound beauty. I spent many hours languishing in the infinity pool just gazing out into this artistic palette of splendor.
The staff at the villa which included chefs, butlers, gardiners, security and a driver attended to our every need with overwhelming care and respect. There was an extensive menu to choose from of which the food was cooked fresh every day and was absolutely delicious. We requested the chef to prepare a Balinese banquet for us for Christmas Eve and a seafood barbeque for Christmas day. The chef and his team excelled themselves and we were all completely blown away at what was produced. It was above and beyond what you would get in any five star restaurant!
From the time I inquired into booking this villa to the time that we left the villa we were treated with courtesy, efficiency, and respect. I would rate this villa and our stay at it as 6 star plus!!!Response from Christian, Yana and Irie - 01/31/2012

My family including children and young grandchildren have just returned from an 11 day stay at Villa Niloufar and what a wonderful stay it was. The Villa has great facilities, great pool and exceptionally helpful staff. The Villa is suitable for all age groups from the very young to the not so young. Not only will we reccommend it to our friends but hopefully we will return.

Our family of 11 had a great stay at Niloufar. The villa is beautiful to look at, spacious, all open living areas, five bedrooms and a media room for movies and tv. Outings were easily arranged to nearby Tanah Lot and Echo Beach. We found the villa perfect for a short stay to spend time together around the gorgeous pool and lush surroundings. If you like eating out, then you need to plan this as there are no restaurants/cafes nearby. The location might not suit everyone, but it was exactly what we wanted. Enjoy your time at Niloufar as we did. Thankyou Julia and the team.

The website looked & read like a hoax, but having been impressed by angel Villa in Seminyak we knew the pictures & descriptions were accurate and that luxury & relaxation was assured.
We usually holiday in Thailand to obtain this level of accommodation & service, but will be coming back to Niloufar sooner rather than later as the difference in cost between the accommodation here as opposed to the cost to fly 6.5hrs to Thailand is virtually the same!
I am happy to speak with anyone about our stay down to the nitty gritty details & yes, I have pictures :)
