This studio apartment, on a working farm is close to the town of Buxton in the Peak District National Park and sleeps two people. The Nest is a studio apartment, on a working farm, converted from a stone barn in the rural hamlet of Cowdale, 2.5 miles from the town of Buxton in the Peak District National Park. This all ground floor apartment sleeps two people and has one studio room with a drop-down double bed, kitchen area, small dining area and sitting area, as well as a family shower room. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

on arrival at the nest, the couple were upstairs cleaning the other cottage as ours had already been done. everyone very friendly and the animals, the cottage and area was quiet, clean and very restful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

lovely clean and adequate cottage, we stayed for a week (sat-sat) milk, biscuits and a lovely delishous bottle of red wine on arrival, also no need to take towels or tea-towels and washing up liquid etc as all provided.
Plenty of information on attractions and places of interest to drive, walk or cycle to. Monkey Forest, Chatsworth House, Otter world, Bakewell and Matlock etc a must to visit all within driving distance.
Lovely couple Trish and Steve (owners) and their gorgeous friendly collie Meg, very helpful if we asked about areas to visit, a must for walkers as central to most places, very clean courtyard and safe for parking gorgeous farm to walk round, would definately return and recommend to others. -

The Next is a cosy place - ideal for a couple who like walking as we do, as it is so close to the Tissington and Monsal trails - and also just 5-7 minutes from Buxton

Service we got was fantastic even down to the biscuits and milk and tea that was in for us arrivind. The cottage is pristine clean with everthing you need for your stay. The location was what we wanted in the country but close enough for the town. Nothing we didnt like would like at some time to return and would recomend it to family and friends thank you for making us feel very welcome.
