Nicely situated among Live oaks along a high ridge, and with a fantastic view of the Pamlico Sound, the name "Sound Oak Ridge" perfectly describes this home! Water sport enthusiasts of all kinds will love the sound access, which is by an elevated wooden boardwalk (shared with one neighbor) where you also have use of the small waterside dock (for shallow draft). This site is a great location for kite boarding, kayaking and wind surfing. A kayak is provided for guest use.The ground level has a bedroom with 2 single beds, a full bath, laundry, and game room with TV/DVD player/VCR, pool table, a wet bar, microwave, and refrigerator. This beach house was far better than we could have expected...the items it contained were there as though the owners anticipated our every need/desire...even to the elevator!!! Thanks to the realtors and the owners for allowing us to enjoy our visit/wedding at the Inn on Pamlico Sound by locating there and in their beautifully and thoughtfully appointed home on the Sound! We will certainly want to return and will definitely "sing the praises of "the Sound Oak Ridge" Beach house!!!
