This is one place I would stay away from.
I went to Brazil for 10 days with a friend. We were traveling all over Brazil and into argentina the first 7 days and wanted a place to relax and take it all in the last 3 days of our stay.
I came across this place and told Denise this looks like the perfect place. We wanted a place that had a Jacuzzi, Swimming Pool and games with a beautiful view. I also told Denise we had No intentions of going to the beach. We wanted to stay at the house. Denise then said this is the place for you.
When we arrived the housekeeper told us we could Not use the Jacuzzi tub it was broken. She then said we could Not use the pool...we were so upset. We just drove 3 hours to get there and it is not what she told us it would be. I asked then about the game room and where was that. The housekeeper said she would call the owners and left. She Never came back and we had no idea where she was. I then emailed Denise and asked her to call us asap and told her how upset we were. We Never heard from her, so therefore we left. She falsely advertised her place for the money. We asked for our money back. It was off season and she even admitted after the fact she knew of things Not working and said we should have went to the beach. That was Not what we wanted to do and we were very clear on what we were looking for.
Also GPS does Not recognize the address and it was a nightmare trying to find the place. We had to hire a taxi to follow to get there.
This is one place I would stay away from. There are many other beautiful places to stay at in Buzios.

We have been in the rental business for over 20 years and work very hard to have the utmost standards and reputation. Even in my 5 years with Marriott, once in a while there will be an unreasonable customer. We have had this house as a rental for over five years, since 2008. We have rented to over 100 guests that we have met or exceeded customer’s expectations. In this situation, the renters were three young women. Perhaps their inexperience with vacation home rentals is to blame. Perhaps they were disappointed that we are in a residential area, not a party area. First, in regards to our home, it is a residential property in residential community. Therefore, finding any home is more difficult that finding a hotel. However, we give clear directions in our contract that tells you exactly how to get to our home, complete with a phone number to dial direct to ask for additional directions. During the day, there are also signs clearly visible to our home casa bella vista. In regards to check-in, we have a manager and housekeeper available until 7pm or later upon request. In this case, they arrived around 10pm, without calling. Therefore, our housekeeper was the only one still on premise. Since she does not speak perfect English, there might have been some confusion. The Jacuzzi just broke because the guests prior broke the switch. Therefore, we were waiting for repair. However, the infinity pool was still in perfect working condition. The game room is normally easy to find from the pool deck during the day, but more difficult at night. The housekeeper called us and left a message, but everybody was asleep already. First thing in the morning when we returned the call, we were unable to reach the housekeeper or the girls. Little did we know that they decided to leave early without any notification or waiting for us to rectify. They finally emailed us a few days later, and asked for their money back. Although our paperwork normally states that we do not give refund if you leave without notice and the ability for us to correct the situation, however we refunded back an amount mutually agreed upon. They then emailed us again asking for all their money back, and decided to post this negative review when we said no. We have this home listed on many different websites over the past five years with many great reviews that we will be happy to reference you to upon request. We have just decided to try flipkey, so we expect more good reviews soon.
