A rustic style and romantic villa right on the tranquil Rasa beach in Buzios. Beautiful and very private location with amazing, unblocked sea views. Excellent holiday option for a family with children, a group of friends or an artist soul looking for a quiet retreat.
The ocean is just 5 meters away. Spacious tropical garden with flowers, fruit trees and herbal garden. Two decks, hammocks, sauna, garage and a grill area. We have some chicken, quails and quests are provided occasionally with complimentary fresh eggs and also fruits, when in season. Birdhouse with some parrots, love birds and pigeons.

Es una casa con muy buen espacio, limpia y muy completa. Ubicada a 8 km de Buzios, Seppo es una persona increible, muy honesta y cumplidora. Si requiere una persona que cocine ellos prestan por aparte ese servicio pero con una buena tarifa. Encuentras la playa abriendo la puerta del jardín.

Estuve 3 dias en esta casa y es espectacular, excelentes instalaciones, una vista al mar increible que no se encuentra en ninguna otra parte de Buzios por este precio y Seppo es una persona muy correcta y cumplidora. Para mi próximo viaje nuevamente la alquilaria. Muy completa. Gracias Seppo la pasamos super bien con mi familia.

we stayed in this wonderful villa on September 2012. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. It is a spacious, well decorated beautiful house. Just on rasa beach (you open a small gate on the garden and you are stepping on the sand!) Located in a quiet neighborhood. With a nice garden, barbecue, and sauna!
You also have the chance of hiring the service for cooking and cleaning of the nicest lady we met in Brazil (Olivia)
I totally recommend this house. -

Pros: Quiet isolated beach, property is right on the beach, suana was nice, and the house is charming.
Cons: A long drive to downtown Buzios, churrasco is nice but it is located right next to a bird/chicken coop and a dog crate so the animal smells are very unpleasant especially near food that you cook on the churrasco. Rooster crows early in the morning which made me want to cook it and a crated dog barked at kids running around. Housekeeping services were good but make sure you are very clear as to the expected hours of services for the daily rate. Cooking just ok. The caretakers live on the property in seperate quarters, and breed chickens, birds, etc. So, you rent the large house but not the entire property - which is shared with the caretakers. Their house is ten feet from the back door of the main house.
If you can live with the above, the house is very clean and well kept. The beach is extremely quiet and secluded - so if you don't want to be close to downtown Buzios and that scene, this place would be perfect. If you would rather be close to downtown and be able to go to restaurants ans bars and stumble back home, look for other options. Praia Rasa is on the windy side of Buzios, so if the wind kicks up, the water gets a little murkey. High tide of this particular beach - there is no beach. However, the nice thing about the property is that you can open up the back gate and step into the ocean.Response from seppo - 12/12/2012

We appreciate taking your time to review our property. We also would like to thank you for the earlier, kind emails to me in which you wrote that "the villa is great" and that "Olivia (our maid) has been great".
We provide two grill areas. A smaller grill behind the kitchen and an older grill area behind the caretaker house, which was just recently renovated. So you have two grill areas to choose from.
We do have singing birds, chicken, parrots, which for most quests are a delight, as we have occasionally fresh complimentary eggs to be given to our quests. We are sorry, if the smell of the birds caused you disturbance. Our ad clearly mentions the birds.
Our villa has an exclusive and a private location right on the beach. There are several quests, who do not want to stay at the center of Búzios due to the terrible traffic jams during high season, noise from discos, bars etc. Thus we provide an option: a hideaway. Some people prefer to wake up to the sounds of braking waves rather than to the traffic noise or loud music. Still the center is just 10 minutes by car and the nearest supermarket 2 minutes.
We don´t expect our quests to water and clean the garden, feed our birds, empty the trash or open and close the gate. Thus we have a villa caretaker couple to take care of all this, which for most people is an asset. Needless to say, they are also there for security reasons. For a private house in Búzios, this is a must. We clearly mention this in our ad.
As Búzios is a peninsula, and the wind changes daily, always one side is windy, the other one calmer. However, Rasa beach is much safer, particularly to children, than, for example Geribá, which has occasionally very strong and dangerous undercurrents. -

My parents and I stayed at this house for 4 days and we fell in love with it!
The house is decorated with bits and pieces from around the world so we felt right at home :)
It's spacious, great garden friendly housekeeper, sweet guard dog, and right on the beach! We wished we could have taken more advantage of the house and spent more time in it, it's garden and it's practically private beach, but there are so many beautiful beaches in Buzios that we could not resist going to as many as possible.
What we did not enjoy were the mosquitoes and all the bugs (bring products!), some nets on the windows would be nice so we could enjoy the lovely night temperatures without unexpected visitors, at least in the rooms, but I guess it's part of the local fauna.
Also we terribly missed having internet access!

I am glad to hear you had a good stay and we truly hope you will come back one day!
All rooms are provided with mosquito screens, which quests need to put in place, if they open the windows. Also as we are in the middle of the nature, we have small bugs, like tiny ants. That´s why we encourage quests never to leave food on the table, kitchen etc, and use the maid service.
The villa is rented on self catering basis, and mosquito sprays are available in all supermarkets (we usually keep some first aid stock),

The Villa was perfect for Brazil. It was a beautifully furnished home with a helpful caretaker. The sauna was nice to hang out and the interior of the villa was like a art museum. I cooked every night and had fresh fish and produce from the locals. It only took a few days to get the routine of hanging out at the beaches and local shops during the day and the villa in the evening.

This lovely villa is a perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday. The spacious house is decorated with taste and the Rasa beach just in front of the house is great for swimming and walking. We also enjoyed playing golf at the nearby Buzios Golf Club; it was not at all crowded on weekdays. The housekeeper took such a good care of us and made our staying easy and comfortable. I highly recommend this villa to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing and pleasant holiday in beautiful Buzios.

This villa is a great, peacefull retreat. It's right on Rassa Beach, with a gate that opens right onto the beach. It's a little outside of centro, which can be a great thing on busy weekends when traffic gets crazy. The modern house has comfortable bedrooms , nice bathrooms, and a full kitchen. It's also a gated compound, with a nice housekeeper who helps with anything you want; from laundry to cooking.
You can sleep all night listening to the waves of the ocean breaking on the beach outside of the bedrooms. The owner is very helpfull, and every process of the rental was amazingingly simple. Popular Geriba beach is about a 5 minute drive away. We really enjoyed this villa, and would reccomend it highly. -

This house is a paradise - you spend your holiday with your family in a beatiful, peaceful house - at the sea shore. We have visited Buzios several times before in June, New Year time ad in February. Now we have found the place where we will spend our holidays.

We booked this lovely villa on line after a lengthy search for suitable properties that could accommodate 3 young children and offer space, access to beaches and shops, and a family-friendly relaxing atmosphere.
The owner was extremely helpful in giving advice, checking that we had all we needed, and ensuring that the housekeeper kept us watered and fed (she was an absolute star and we all loved her).
We would highly recommend this beautiful house. It is tastefully decorated, has all the necessary amenities to make it a 'home from home', easy access to beaches and shops, and - the children's favourite - animals to keep us company.
We had a wonderful holiday, thank you Seppo & Olivia & co.
