Sydney, New South Wales, AustraliaYour own piece of tranquility right in the heart of Byron
Left on 12/03/2012 for a stay in November 2012
Hands down the nicest place we've stayed in Byron Bay ! This is the second time myself and the family checked in to drift . The house is beautiful, in a top location - a stones throw from the main drag but its very peaceful. You have access to a shared pool and for the time we were there we were the only ones poolside ! Perfect spot for a family holiday . I cant recommend it highly enough.
Top tip - be sure to check out the green garage down the road - they do a great coffee & spend at least one evening out the back cooking up a storm on the Weber BBQ -

Left on 12/08/2011 for a stay in September 2011
The house is situated about 10mn walk from town centre (5mn to supermarket) in a secured complex.
It has everything you need and more. They even provide free wi fi, a bike and a surfboard.
It was perfect for us travelling with a young baby.
Very modern, bright and spacious. House and outside space very well looked after. Very easy to get in as they use a door code so we didn't have to worry about being late for a key exchange.
Such a shame we couldn't stay longer. We would definitely stay there again. -

We enjoyed lovely 7 day holiday in Byron Bay. The property was situated only a short walk into main town centre and was accesible to Banglow and further down the coast.

Left on 06/23/2010 for a stay in June 2010
Drift is an elegant villa in very close proximity to the shops, cafes that Byron Bay boasts. We had a very comfortable stay, the kitchen was well equipped to cook for the family and we would recommend this villa. We did have a few creepy crawlies inside so some pest control is recommended.

What a great place...myself,my wife and the three
kids stayed for ten days without a
hiccup...comfy,cosy...and sound proof walls...best of
all was the great pool that i did laps in the morning
and the kids played during the day...five stars
because the only thing it did not have was room
service but byron bay has plenty of delicious home
delivery or we would just pop next door to the exotic
grocery store...Francois Royer...Paris...france -

SydneyGreat location, great pool, great value
Left on 03/12/2010 for a stay in January 2010
From the start the service I received from Sonya and Garth was great. Nothing was ever too much trouble, given we had to change dates a couple of times.
The house is a great size, was exceptionally clean and had a nice homely feel to it which made it comfortable for everyone. The outdoor space with the BBQ was lots of fun and very private. It was also so nice to have a pool to relax early morning or late evening which we did almost everyday before heading to the fantastic beaches located around Byron.
Its location was perfect - 5 minute walk to the main streest of Byron but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet.
Would definitely recommend and we will be going back again this year.
Thanks for a great time

The property was fantastically located allowing easy exploration of Byron centre. It was extremely well appointed catering or all of our needs as a large family. The pool was great and provided a great alternative to the beach. The complex was very quiet and relaxed. I would stay here again when we come back to Byron

Left on 03/01/2010 for a stay in January 2010
We had an excellent week at Drift, the unit was very close to the pool, which was terrific.
a bit of a walk into town, but not too far.
we would have liked to have had 2 bikes available, not just one.
Byron Bay is a great place, we loved it.
A small issue - my wife bashed her head on the wooden rail above the rubbish bins, and we thought that was a bit silly. 2 days later I did the same thing, and still have the bruise to prove it! Good idea to get rid of that wooden board, one day someone will really knock themself out.
thanks for your help with the internet hookup,
had a great week. -

We went to drift for a girls weekend away and it did not dissapoint. The villa looked exactly as it did in the pictures and was spotlessly clean. Its in a great location - only a 5-10min walk to get to the beach and the centre of byron. We could not have a asked for a better place to have our weekend away and will be coming back!
