The toilets were outside!! You had to walk upstairs, & be confronted by a pit toilet???sawdust & a hose were supplied?? Ecco/friendly - I presume!!! Not sure if the can of glade spray sitting alongside of it, was Ecco friendly!!! Not to mention the Bidets??? No one was quite sure if they were the real thing or a good idea gone wrong!!! Looked like a hand-wash basin, as a cover up!!! The handwashing solution above the amenity was quite confusing?? We were disappointed we were not informed of the amenities, when booking. Given we had paid a considerable amount of money for this luxurious accommodation, which included state of the art electronic electrical & everything that could open/ close. It was quite disappointing!! On this fact alone I would not stay nor recommend it!!!

Stayed with another couple in 2 bedroom villa. Extremely private and a huge wow! The size and Balianese theme decor and lighting of living, bedrooms and outdoor living was fantastic. Pool, spa and BBQ area with rainforest backdrop all was a real treat and we felt we didnt want to leave to go out. But Byron shops and restuarnts were a couple of minutes walk. The Sunday market around the corner took me back to the '70's...what fun!
The lit candles, champaign and gift hamper on arrival and the couples inroom massage the next day made this very special. Thank you Hugh Belinda, Carla and TrevorResponse from Byron Villas - 11/23/2010

What a place..if you want beautiful surroundings, relaxed atmosphere inside and out with the private pool spa and zen garden and even an outside shower which is fantastic at night too, and a place to revive your energies as well as having fun ...ah cocktails 50 meters away too... it is here. Also the staff at the Villas are fantastic and every whim is satisfied..even down to organising a private chef for the night...fabulous. I also stayed without the family and it was so wonderful to have this relaxing retreat .. so rejuvenating. Thank you Julie ... this is the place that you come back too.
