Additional Location Information
We are in the heart of Cabarete in the only beach community with many full time residents. The town continues to grow in positive ways and is the South Beach of the Caribbean. Corona del Mar, CALocation! Location! Location!
Left on 05/19/2013 for a stay in May 2013
Our family of 6 stayed at Casa Velada in May 2013.
The rental property was even better than the pictures, described amenities, and reviews! The property owner is responsive to all your questions. They have a local agency rep as well. The points of interest and restaurant recommendations were all excellent.
This property is on the beach with a fabulous gazebo and pool. The walk to town is 5 minutes. There are so many choices of restaurants!! We enjoyed Papi's, Pomodoro, and Lazy Dog. My 25 year olds enjoyed the night life.
Rosa's market is across the street, also a typical Dominican grilled chicken stand. Delicious! So convenient!
For activities sup and kayaks are right next door.
The kids walked to the Caves and enjoyed the history and the clear water swim. We also went horseback riding and did a Catamaran cruise.
All in, a fabulous vacation!Response from Mark Kemenosh - 05/20/2013

Haddonfieldwe had a great time!
Left on 01/15/2012 for a stay in December 2011
We stayed the week between Christmas and New years in #25. what a beautiful house and the grounds are spectacular. The pool and the gazeabo is where we spent most of our time. The house is cleaned daily and the property is very safe. The beach views from the gazeabo are beautiful, what a great place for happy hour before strolling down the beach for dinner at a number of great restaurants. There is so much to do in Cabarete, We did ziplining at Monkey Jungle, played golf at Playa dorodo, The rest of time we relaxed at the pool or went to the beach which is right out front of the house. Mark made sure everything we needed was there. We will be back next year!

Rockaway NYA simple and relaxing getaway full of options
Left on 11/04/2011 for a stay in October 2011
This Cabarete beachfront property is in the perfect location. A short walk on the beach in one direction towards some wonderful restaurants and entertaining nightlife. And in the other direction is Kite Beach if you want to see the locals doing some amazing things on their kiteboards or try for yourself as there are plenty of places that give lessons. It is also a short walk on the street to any of the local eateries.
The property is so beautiful that you could spend a week relaxing in the yard or on the beach if you wanted too, but there is also the opportunity to do excursions and enjoy the town. Some of the activities that we partook in during our stay included horseback riding on the beach, a ziplining and monkey jungle adventure, dolphin swimming at Ocean World, and finally, a beautiful waterfall cascading tour through the mountains. I would recommend all of the former to anyone who comes to visit.
The service is excellent- the property was always clean and taken care of. -

TorontoGreat house in a perfect spot
Left on 03/12/2011 for a stay in February 2011
This beautiful, semi-detached villa is literally on the beach, while also being nestled inside a gated community. A ten minute walk on the hot sand puts you in range of a series of beachfront cafes and restaurants. Kiteboarding is a popular activity when it gets windy.
Mark is friendly and helpful, and this house is recommended for families or groups who want independence, security, and frontage on a great beach. Wifi is a little slow, and with two families in both side-by-side units, privacy could be an issue. Daily staff tend to the grounds, pool, and house. Highly recommended for visitors to Cabarete. -

#25 rental @ Olas de Oro is awesome! Seven of us stayed there in February 2011. Mark the owner was right when he said it is the best place on the beach! Can't say enough about how beautiful the house, yard, pool and gazebo are. The location is perfect and the views are amazing. Town is just a short walk up the beach and you will find it offers everything you need to enjoy a great vacation! Barbara the manager was very helpful and arranged transportation for us. Miguel in security was super nice and we felt very safe there. The housekeeping staff was awesome and kept our units very clean every day we were there. Thanks Mark for sharing your home, we had a great vacation!!!

Cabarette Beach Rental is an amazingly natural beachfront private home/vacation spot.It is simplistic elegance at it's best! The friendly daily maid service had us spoiled on the first day.
Quiet and private yet sitting right on top of a world class kiteboarding location, there is always ocean action to view.
The private pool and yard allowed us many spots to lounge in the sun or shade.
Enjoying a romantic moonlight beach stroll provided us many great resturants nearby. All with beachfront and most with beach dining under the stars and warm palm breezes. Also, lots more gourmet finds included a grocery, bakery and lunch spots. All around made Cabarette a true foodies delight!
This gem on the beach was an awesome vacation! -

VirginiaFabulous vacation spot!
Left on 02/26/2011 for a stay in November 2010
My boyfriend and I stayed here a week in November in search of a little relaxation. This was definitely the spot for it! Million dollar views, beachfront, in-ground pool, gazebo...what more can you ask for! I felt very safe at Olas de Oro with security guards monitoring the property and private gates leading to the villa. Only a short walk along the beach to the bars, restaurants, and shops- Fabulous! We can't wait to come back!

All around it was a great experience. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the daily maid service was awesome. The pool, palapa and lawn on a private beach made for a spectacular setting. Great restaurants within a short walk, lots of activities if you'd like. We played golf (Playa Dorado), zip-lined, wind-surfed. The area and Villa 25 (cabarete beach rental) had something for everyone. We look forward to going back!

Left on 08/18/2010 for a stay in August 2010
I spent two weeks there with my family, as summer holidays and we couldn't imagine better place in Cabarete than that. The house is beautiful with such a fantastic location that allows you to open a gate and be in a beach with a nice and tropical landscape. There you will find also the required privacy, security and comfort for your perfect stay. I will not hesitate to recommend the house, Mark will really do everything for your perfect stay.

Left on 07/09/2010 for a stay in March 2010
I've been in Cabarete before but stayed at Olas de Oro (Villa 25) for the first time this year, it exceeded our expectations!!
Not only was the place beautiful, it was very reasonably priced, very safe and within walking distance to everything! While we were there my cousin had an accident while we were on a horseback excursion, she ended up in the hospital, we had to extend our vacation an extra week until family could come and be with her and she had to extend her stay for 2 wks until she was able to fly home. Mark (the owner) and Barbara (the complex manager) went above and beyond for us... I'm so looking forward to going back to Cabarete and stay at Villa 25 again... Cheryl -

San Francisco, CAFantastic surfing and night life experience
Left on 05/05/2010 for a stay in February 2010
I grew up in Southern California and live in Santa Cruz, so I love surfing, and this place turned out to be awesome. There are breaks at the reef right outside the villa, plus other awesome spots just a short drive away. The water temp was incredible and the waves were over 8 feet roughly every other day (I was there in February 2010).
The villa is great. There are three nice beds, the cleaning ladies make it nice every day, and its in a PERFECT location. Seriously, you don't want to stay anywhere closer to downtown because it's too loud and the places aren't as clean/nice. You can walk to/from this villa right along the beach and it only takes about 5 minutes to get to the fun spots. There are three nice beds, a nice pool, pool chairs for laying out and reading, an outdoor patio/hut that's really nice, and kind security guards (even though this part of town is a lot more low-key than downtown).
I would definitely stay here again. Thanks a lot Mark! You guys are awesome.
