      Absolutely beautiful resort!

Left on 03/13/2012 for a stay in March 2012

We had an executive suite. Lots of room for 2 people! Large balcony to watch the whales & enjoy the surf since we were in building #7 right on the beach. We were OK with the fact you can't swim in the ocean bordering the resort. Resort is very well maintained. We opted to walk a lot rather than use the golf carts. Bus to sister resorts is easy & then walk into town. We thought we were money ahead not doing the all inclusive, especially since we went into town to eat sometimes. Food was very good at the resort & we thought it was reasonable. Service was a little slow but we figured we were on vacation so we just enjoyed the views of the ocean. The resort has everything you need, a small grocery store, deli & restaurants so you don't even need to leave the resort! We have already booked a trip for next year.

Loved our vacation at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach

Left on 01/10/2012 for a stay in December 2011

We had a wonderful time at this resort. Renting through Jeff was a breeze. He was very quick with correspondence, we would definitely rent with him again.

The resort itself was top notch. It is very large but the layout of the property makes it feel more intimate as though you were renting a private villa. Wonderful views. Great pools. The main pool was often very crowded but the other pools weren't. All had swim up bars and food and towel service. Restaurants on property were good. We did go into town 5 times during our stay. I really enjoy the food and people of Cabo. Felt very safe and met a lot of really nice people.

We were upgraded to a presidential suite with two large rooms and it was phenomenal. Though we did a time share tour and the room we were supposed to get - an executive suite - was very nice and would have fit our needs just fine. It was also quite large. All the rooms had wonderful views of the ocean and were tastefully decorated. Because it's on a hilly area they offer golf cart transportation around if you need. We walked it and found it was great exercise and hardly used the carts. There is free wi-fi at the new sunshine deli at the top of the resort and by the manilla bar near the main pool. Pools were warm. The view from the sky pool was amazing.

Would definitely stay at this resort again.

Lovely place with marvelous help. Clean, lovely grounds. All the pools were very nice. Golf carts were always readily accessible. Suite itself was very nice, large, with daily maid service. Bus to town was fine, but sometimes no seats available for times we wanted to ride.

Our stay at PB Sunset Beach was wonderful. We are Timeshare owners and rented additional rooms for our wedding guests for our wedding week celebration at PB Sunset Beach. The PB staff's attention to detail and ensuring guests comfort is above and beyond. From the moment we arrived we did not have to worry about a thing. Our luggage was delivered to our room along with the groceries we ordered. Any need or request was promptly responded too. We love PB Sunset Beach and love the ease of being able to enjoy the ammenities at PB sister resorts. Truly a magical and relaxing resort to vacation.

      Great Vacation

Left on 04/04/2011 for a stay in March 2011

We just returned from a great vacation at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. I would strongly recommend the resort and also renting from Jeff agron.

The 1 bedroom executive suite was large and provided plenty of space for my wife and I and 2 18-year old girls. The girls had their own bathroom (a must!), 2 closets (again, a must!) and slept on the pull-out couch in the large living area. We had the master bedroom with a huge bathroom and our own sitting area looking out over the ocean. Jeff requested a beach side villa for us and our location was perfect! We were right on the beach just down from the main pool. The patio was huge and the view was absolutely incredible. Watching the whales for our patio was one of the highlights of trip.

This resort was great match for our style vacation. We walked the quiet beach and relaxed by the pool all day and then took the free shuttle into town to explore the restaurants and shopping in the evening.

We can't wait to go back.

      Best Vacation Ever!

Left on 03/31/2011 for a stay in March 2011

We stayed in an Executive Suite at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach from March 12-19, 2011. It was by far the best resort we have ever been to! I loved the way the resort was just outside the city...it was so quiet, even though there were families coming and going all the time.

The room was fantastic! We didn't realize that our one-bedroom suite would have two full bathrooms, which for a family of five, was perfect. The suite was very large...lots of extra room in both the living room/kitchen area, as well as the bedroom. We never felt cramped.

At Sunset Beach, everyone gets an ocean view from their room, which is priceless. It was so nice to be able to wake up early and sit on the patio and watch the waves crash onto the beach. We even saw whales a few times!

We loved all the pools at Sunset. Our personal favorite was the Sky Pool. We loved being way up on top of the hill...the views were amazing! All of the pools would get busy in the afternoon, but they were never crazy...still very relaxing, yet fun for all the kids. They had the best smoothies at the pool bars for the kids and they each had a couple every day. We enjoyed happy hour, the mojitos, and the food at all the pool bars...great guacamole!

We spent every other day in Cabo at the Rose, so we could spend some time at the beach. The shuttle service was so easy to get into town. It was nice to still be able to charge food and drinks to our room. It was short walk from the Rose to all the great restaurants in town, so we did that most days after the beach and then took a taxi back to Sunset. The taxi was about $2-3 per person.

We loved Cabo and the Sunset Beach so much that there is no doubt we will be back. We didn't have a single problem the entire week we were there...the staff is so courteous and were ready to help anytime. Next time we want to try the Executive Suite that has a bigger patio with a hot tub on it...our friends had one of those and it was great! :)

Gorgeous resort, impeccable service & whales to boot!

Left on 01/08/2011 for a stay in December 2010

We had the pleasure of staying in the Executive Suite the week between Christmas and New Years. The resort was operating at full capacity that week yet their service was in no way compromised. We found all staff to be delightful and speedy in their service. We used the beach and sky pools, the gym & spa, and ate at La Frida (amazing on Christmas night overlooking the Pacific), LaNao (Italian buffet) & LaBistro. The suite was perfect- gorgeous bathrooms, huge deck for awesome whale watching, and a pull-out sofa that was actually comfortable. We used the kitchenette each morning for cereal & coffee and bought a few snacks in the onsite grocery. We opted to eat out all other meals so we did not load up on groceries for the week, but the kitchen is certainly adequate for doing so. The resort is about a 10min drive from town where all the action is, but that was positive for us as we enjoyed spending our days at the quiet resort and then venturing in (by cab) for a couple of fun dinners on the water. Pueblo Bonita Sunset Beach was a great choice for us and working through the owner was a seamless process. He was most helpful in answering our questions and making suggestions.

It was fun to be away from the vendors on the east beach. The water was scary but the beach was peaceful. Check-in was awful. Our room was over the road so we heard the golf carts all day and night. Through the night we could hear staff talking and unloading; 3am seemed to be an especially noisy time.

Response from Jeff Agron - 07/23/2010

I apologize for any inconvenience at check-in. The vast majority of my guests have a smooth, quick check-in process and find the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful. Of course, once in a while, a guest might encounter a wait at the front desk or some other challenges, but I do my best to verify all of my guest reservations to ensure a smooth check-in. Also, I wish this guest would have contacted me or the hotel manager to request a room change, if they found the location of their suite to be particularly noisy. Most suites are quiet and private, and all of them have the same beautiful interior design and spectacular ocean views!

      GREAT CABO EXPERIENCE!!

Left on 05/11/2010 for a stay in March 2010

Cabo was much more than I expected and the Pueblo Bonito Sunset was a brilliant choice on our part. My sister and I spent HOURS trying to figure out where we would like to stay for our first trip to Cabo. After getting there we knew we had made a wonderful choice. The Pueblo Bonito has 4 different locations and you can use all of them during your stay and charge back to your room. We couldn't decide whether to stay on the main beach area or away from the crowd and we chose away from the crowd. We stayed at the Sunset and loved it. The best part is that the Sunset provided a FREE shuttle to their sister hotel Pueblo Bonito Rose on the main beach. The shuttle was a large comfortable airconditioned bus that went every hour. The drive takes maybe 17 minutes and you save lots of money in cab fare by having this service. The Sunset offers plenty of activities if you wanted to stay there and just use the resort. It has 3 pools, the Sunset pool has the best view from the top of mountain. The resort is built into the side of a hill and extends from the sea to the top of the mountain. The huge benefit of renting from a timeshare owner versus getting a hotel room is that the timeshare owner rooms are larger and come with a kitchen. The executive suite was FABULOUS and we went to COSTCO and purchased our own liquor, food, water etc and had plenty in our rooms for the times that we didn't want to head for the bar. I would highly recommend utilizing this location and then traveling to the other hotels to get a good overall feel for the Cabo experience. The service was great. It is built into the side of the hill so you must call for transportation to get around the resort. They have this down to a science. You call and the golf cart is there within minutes. It is truly amazing and Jeff, our timeshare owner was extremely helpful in securing our rooms as well as recommending places to go and airlines to use.
We hope you have as wonderful of a trip as we did.

A stunningly beautiful location for a resort with first class se

Left on 04/13/2010 for a stay in April 2010

This resort is very unique, with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. The huge waves (which make te beach unswimmable) provide 24 hour entertainment. Our family of 5 stayed in an Executive Suite and had more than enough room. Travelling the 10 minutes into town was very easy, with shuttles every hour, or our preference were $10-$15 cabs which were always on hand. Returning from town by taxi was just as easy.

The service at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is first class. We did a lot of walking around the resort, which wouldn't be everyone's preference as there is a lot of up & down. The golf carts were fairly available, but sometimes took a lengthy route with several stops en route to your destination. The tennis courts were easy to book times on during our week.

We would love to go back.
