This property has it all, class, functional space, pool, spas and a stunning view. A gated community in a great location. It is a great place for 3 or 4 families. Great common areas but also plenty of privacy. Close to the beach and within 15 min walk or 5 minute cab ride to all downtown Cabo has to offer. The owners are great people to work with. Bottom line is you can't go wrong here. Book it and then enjoy!

Oran, MissouriNever wanted to come home!!
Left on 04/18/2013 for a stay in February 2013
My name is Jodie and my husband and I have been traveling to Cabo for 10 years now. I just recently turned 40 and we celebrated my birthday and our 15th Wedding anniversary at Villa Esperanza. Prior to this visit we rented a condo in Pedregal and took our two girls and that is how we discovered this area. We found very quickly that if you are visiting the Cabo area ... the hotels are nice but renting from a property owner is a much better choice. The views are unbelievable, it isn't as hectic, it's a short distance from town, and the vendors can't swarm you nonstop on their private beach. I found Villa Esperanza on trip advisor and we were bringing a large group of friends and we wanted them to share the experiences we always had with Cabo. However, discovering this home was the best choice ever!! I was a little nervous about renting the home. Not because I thought I would get ripped off but because I wanted it to wow us and didn't want to be disappointed. From the moment we got into the van ( which was arranged by antonio, the awesome property manager ) we were in heaven for a solid week!! We walked into the house and were blown away with the view ... but it didn't end there. This house is amazing!! I promise you pictures don't do it justice. I am a very picky person and I was thrilled and realized quickly I had made the right choice. This house has 3 bedrooms with their own bathrooms upstairs and 4 bedrooms downstairs with their own bathrooms. We took a group of 15 and everyone had their privacy and was amazed with this home. Needless to say ... Nobody wanted to go home. I do have to brag on Matt ( the owner ) and antonio ( the property manager ) because the communication and willingness to work with us was outstanding. If we needed anything antonio was there!! I can't stress enough how wonderful the experience was and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of this place and wish I were there. Give this home a chance ... I promise you won't be sorry!! Oh, and one more thing ... I don't remember her name and I should be ashamed but the lady in housekeeping went above and beyond. We left money, electronics, cell phones, diamond rings, and never had to worry about a thing. The place was spotless everyday and she always had a smile on her face!!

San Francisco, CaliforniaBest House in Pedregal

The pictures actually don't do this place justice at all, the house is modern and top end all around with unbelievable views. 6 of the rooms have ocean views and the sunset is absolutely amazing from all the rooms and the main area. Antonio, the property mgr, is one of the nicest men I've met and constantly helped to make our stay easy and enjoyable. I've stayed in Pedregal a half dozen times and this was the best house I've had yet.

New JerseyBest Birthday Trip Ever!
Left on 09/07/2011 for a stay in August 2011
I rented the Villa for me and 9 of my best girlfriends to celebrate my 40th birthday. It was amazing. The villa looks exactly like the pictures on the website. It did not dissapoint. We had a welcome reception and my birthday dinner prepared by chefs. The food was the best, better than the restaurants in town! The concierge was so helpful with any request. We actually had a power outage the day we arrived. But the villa manager was on the scene right away and kept us informed the entire time. We went overnight without power, but it was back on the next day and we still had a great time. All of my friends thought it was an amazing trip. I didn't receive a single complaint.

Villa Esperanza is a beautifully appointed villa with a magnificent view of the Pacific ocean below. The main rooms are spacious and comfortable and each bedroom with king bed feels like the master suite. No one couple feels they get short-changed in a smaller room. The bathrooms are large and roomy but would be perfect if they offered hair dryers (a standard appliance almost everywhere now). The infinity pool is so inviting and refreshing, especially after a day of exploring the towns. One also feels extremely safe in this gated community.
We were greeted by adrian from "A Matter of Taste", a local catering company. He mixed us a delicious welcome beverage and assisted us by putting away all the groceries we had stopped for prior to our villa arrival. We enjoyed adrian so much that we had him and a chef from a Matter of Taste come to our villa to prepare dinner for the eight of us. It was delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend pampering yourself with a catered dinner.
Our family are all cooks so the one disappointment was the equipment in the magnificent kitchen. For people like us the kitchen was simply a temptation to create some delectable repast. I could not even find measuring spoons and only one plastic measuring cup. Perhaps the owners of Villa Esperanza would consider expanding the kitchen tools, utensils, pottery plates, pots and pans for those like us who cannot keep their fingers out of the kitchen.
The overall experience was fabulous. I would definitely return and recommend this lovely home to friends traveling to Cabo San Lucas. -

We went to Cabo for our wedding ceremony and had our wedding party stay with us at the villa. Upon entering the villa I was amazed at its ambiance, it was better than the pictures I saw online and what I had imagined. The main room had breath taking views of the Pacific ocean, and the kitchen was perfect for preparing meals for our group. It was so relaxing and serene that it made the stresses of putting together and getting married dissipate. The rooms were incredible as were the bathrooms, so luxurious. To take a shower overlooking the Pacific, unforgettable. The pool and spa were one of the highlights as it was pretty warm when we were there, figuring out the controls took some time. There were a couple things that needed fixing when we arrived but our concierge had them fixed right away. All our guests with us thoroughly enjoyed themselves. If we could do it, we would come back and stay there again. Thank you for the wonderful accommodation and the superb service.

New JerseyVilla Esperanza is big and brown...
Left on 02/18/2010 for a stay in February 2010
They claim the house sleeps 26, but you will be sleeping in a hallway? There are 38 steps to the basement. There is not enough seating in the dining/kitchen or the pool area for 26.We had 15 in our party. There are almost constant sewer gases outside in the pool area. The pool water was 67 degrees when we arrived. We couldn't get the pool cushions until the maids arrived. Didn't they know when we were arriving? The house is big but has very little style. It is close to the beach, but there is no swimming at this beach. You can walk down a path. The map we were sent was wrong. There is no sign or address on the house. We drove around for about 45 minutes before we found the villa. The house doesn't have any hair dryers! Bring your own! We enjoyed our vacation despite the difficulties with the villa.

We were greeted by our conceirge and then the property manager, which was perfect. We learned our way around the GOREGEOUS villa and started relaxing right away. We had a mobile spa in one morning, arranged a sunset cruise and had a chef in for dinner. The trip couldn't have been better and the accomodations were amazing! Thanks for a memorable 40th birthday outing for us and our friends!

We were all beyond speechless upon stepping into Villa Esperanza. The amazing wall of windows in the living area frames a breathtaking view out over the Pacific. The villa is bright, spacious, luxurious and comfortable. There are three bedroom suites on the main floor, two on another floor below and a remaining two on the lowest level—offering plenty of privacy for each guest. Each bedroom has its own terrace, all but one with amazing ocean views. The bathrooms are spectacular. We enjoyed cooking in the large, gourmet kitchen, relaxing in the amazing infinity pool and watching the cruise ships go by. There's a stairway from the villa to a path down to the beach. While the waters are not safe for swimming on this stretch of the Pacific, we enjoyed relaxing on the white sands and watching fishing boats. The chef services and in-villa spa massages provided by ESSV were a definite highlight of our trip. This was simply an amazing way to celebrate our anniversary with our families—everybody keeps saying it was the trip of a lifetime.
