Villa Castellamonte is the one of most relaxing vacation experience we have ever had. The Villa is very beautifully designed, clean and comfortable. All the bedrooms are detailed with beautiful murals and paintings. Sleeping with the bedroom windows open with the ocean breeze blowing in through the night was great. The grounds and gardens with the ocean view are out of this world. The entire staff is very professional & polite. They go out of their way on making your stay perfect and relaxing. We can't say enough good things about the staff. Dominican people are friendly and warm and the beaches are stunning. We love the Villa and will be returning next year.

We do an annual trip every year with my Company- typically 12-15 people. We've gone to Hawaii twice (Turtle Bay and Hilton Waikola) and several stays at different hotels in the Bahamas. This was the best trip we've done. While both the house and Island are beautiful, the experience is defined by the staff that you have there. Edison, Felix, H, and M are all so impressive in their service delivery. These individuals were all extremely committed to making our experience a great one. I don't think I could write enough to express how impressed I really was with them.
Next, the food- Amazing. There wasn't a bad meal, there wasn't even an "OK" meal. The variety was excellent. The morning options were appropriate. As someone who does not normally take much stock in sit down meals, I was very pleased to recognize a large part of what made this trip special was the time we would spend together at our well catered meals.
Bonus- So there is a 200lb Great Dane named Leo that adds a certain something to the House. What a cool character to lumber around the property. He'll only take interest in you if you take interest in him. No One could help but take interest in him.
Note- If you want to be off site doing things every day than this stay might not be for you. We enjoyed the private pool (volleyball for 7 hours one day) and the other ammenities of the house. Go to Playa Grande one day...it is a beautiful beach and has locals selling goods to take home if you're interested. On another day, do the horseback riding trip. It is unlike any other horseback riding experience. You ride through several towns and get a real feel for the people. Also, you can cantor (run) with the horses as much as you want to. It was much better than I expected. For the rest of your stay, sit back and enjoy the pool and pampering you'll receive from the staff. I recommend you start with a Mojito...one of Felix's many drink specialties.

An absolute treasure! Imagine not having to think/plan one item during the day for an entire week. Everything you could possibly want is there upon your request from the helpful and friendly staff. The meals are just phenominal, and the tropical beverages never run out. The beach is spectacular and the pool is perfect for swimming or just lounging. The evenings are spent watching the sunset from the loggia while enjoying a selection from the villa's extensive wine cellar then adjourning to a marvelous dinner. The dining room opens onto loggias from each end and the tropical breeze pushes the bougainvillea blossoms by as you dine on delicious chef prepared meals(hint: ask then to make squash soup). Retire to your spacious suite for a perfect sleep then wake up to do it all again. We can't wait to go back!

Beautiful villa and property.It felt like your own private beach (we didn't see anyone else on it the whole week).The food was superb and plenty of it. Don't go here to diet! For an island nation, there is nothing lacking at this villa. The show stopper is the staff. Very friendly, professional and good at what they do. You will not recieve service like this at any 5 star hotel or resort. We genuinely liked all the staff and really enjoyed their company.
You will not run out of things to do on the property, and there is many excursions to take. They will pick you up right at the villa. The area is beautiful,and it is worth getting out to see some sights and local flavor. We walked all around town and were not hassled once.We were told it is very safe and it sure seemed to be.
Thanks to Felix, Edison and "H" and all the staff- you guys made our vacation awesome. Thanks to Felicita for making our Wedding awesome at the villa. It could not have gone better thanks to you.
We had 16 people at the villa all with different personalities - ages 6 to 72. Everyone loved it and had no complaints. How amazing is that? -

We've been to many vacations spots around the world and we have to say this was one of the most fun and relaxing vacation that we ever took. The villa and where it was situated was very majestic and luxurious. You can find many vacation spots with like features but it was the whole package that did it for us. The experienced, unique, friendly and professional staff were outstanding. We've never been on a trip where we miss the staff so much! Felix, Gabriel, Rudolpho, Edison and all the other staff treated us like family! You didn't have to worry about anything - they took care of things for you.
The villa is beautiful and is very conducive to families with children. There were no mosquitos so unlike other villas we rented in the Carribean, we were able to enjoy the outside at night. The beach that is down from the property is fun and we love the tide pools and caves it offers. We will defintely come back to this place and cannot wait to see our friends that work at the villa.
If you're considering this villa, we highly recommend that you stay here and know you will not be disappointed. -

I apologize for the delayed review for Villa Castellamonte. I have been in a depressed state, unable to eat drink or even function in the real world! After spending a week in this little piece of paradise I'm sure you would feel the same way! Marvelous just marvelous! Villa Castellamonte is a vacation paradise worth every penny! Location, food, drinks, and especially the staff makes this place stand out from the rest. Right from the start Felix, Gabriele, and Edison are there for you at every corner. Their attentiveness and willingness to accommodate your every need is truly amazing. The kitchen staff with their attention to detail and extraordinary culinary skills was divine! Loved every meal that came out...even the PB&Js; (Thanks for the hook up Felix)!!! Every morning the maids would come in and put everything back in order, put out fresh towels and do our laundry if needed. Excelent service!
The Villa is well equipped with many activities to keep all ages entertained. If you’re looking for activities outside the Villa just ask Felicita and the staff and arrangements will be made on the spot. We setup a cigar maker to come to the house, golf, diving, horseback riding, Atving, and drives to the beach all hassle free! You literally just eat, drink, swim, and relax while everything else is taken care of. Kid friendly as well. We had children of various ages and did not have to worry about a thing. Like I said the staff is here to meet all our needs, even taking the time to provide the kids cheese puffs and popcorn pool side! Big plus! They definitely take pride in what they do as they should because they’re great at it. It's like they become a part of your family and you theirs. With out going into too much detail we had an incident in the pool one evening were a child was thought to have jumped in while dinner was being served. With in less then a second Gabriel and Felix were out poolside along with everyone else to help. It was a false alarm but their quick response truly shows they care for their guest!
Our group had a wonderful time and we have not stopped talking about it since. Plans are already in the works for a future visit...we hardly ever do return vacations but this is one we would do over and over and over! I can go on and on about our wonderful experience here at Villa Castellamonte but I just can't. The memories make me miss this place too much!!! =) -

Villa Castellamonte has it all. Anyone can stay in a "nice" place, however finding a vacation destination that has great food, great staff, beautiful grounds and really allows you to relax is a find! We traveled with four families and both the children and the adults had a blast. There are several beaches close by and the beach that the Villa overlooks is incredibly beautiful and we called it the children's "nature" playground. Here they found small hermit crabs, looked at sea urchins and did some serious exploring! When the adults wanted to do something different we were driven to a beach close to the Villa, went horseback riding and even rode on atvs!
The staff at Villa Castellamonte is exceptional. The chef, the housekeepers, and the hosts were all kind, professional and attentive. They were amazing to be around! Everyone in our group can't wait to return!
Whether you have a group or adults or a group with families, you can have a fantastic vacation at Villa Castellamonte! -

Wow...what a place is all we could say. Beautiful accommodations. The rooms were very spacious. The pool is very nice with the breeze coming off the ocean what more could you ask. We had a staff there to take care of our every need. The food was delicious and to top it off we had a pig roast our last night there. Fabulous!!! The staff were very warm and friendly to us all and we made quite a few friends. We also made some pet friends too. "Bella and Leo" a nice added touch to our stay. They hung with us there on the grounds. We had a group of 16 people who enjoyed their time in doing whatever. We are all going to plan on going back next year.

While recently attending a wedding at Villa Castellamonte we were treated to the most amazing experience ever. The staff (Felix, Gabriel, and Edison) made us feel at home. There were safes in each room for valuables and passports. However I left most of my belongings out. The rental of the villa was truly as if it was my home. Anything that we desired was already there before we could ask. The meals were beyond belief. The chef must be a Michelin star winner.
The accommodations and the view were spectacular. Being from California I was hesitant at first to travel to a country I knew little about. There is always the fear of violence. I took a tour on an aTV through Rio San Juan and all those fears were instantly removed. The people of the Dominican Republic are some of the friendliest and most hospitable folks I have ever met in my life.
We plan on going back to this dream destination again in a couple of years. If anyone ever wants to go this place I would highly recommend it. -

Our family (17 people over 3 generations) stayed for 10 days at Villa Castellamonte. We wanted a place where we could all be together but with enough space for privacy. Castellamonte was perfect. The villa is huge and extremely well maintained.
It was the staff and service that really made the holiday special. It had the feeling of being in top notch hotel that was just for our family. The staff was so welcoming and always there and willing to help.
We would recommend Villa Castellamonte to any family group or anyone looking for a true holiday from it all! -

The coordination prior to the visit was very smooth. Felicita was excellent wedding coordinator.
Upon arrival in the Villa the service was unbelievable. Felix, Gabriel and Edison took a very good care of us!! Anything, anytime!!! The house was very clean and the details were outstanding! The meals were well prepared and they were delicious! The Villa is beautiful! Our wedding was perfect and we had the best time of our lives. I would love to come back soon! We planned this trip with friends to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. It exceeded our expectations! The pictures on the website (in particular the rooms,) do not fully convey how beautiful the home is, never mind the zero entry pool, (with a great stereo system,) and wonderful landscaped gardens (- perfect for an in-home massage.) You have your own private beach just a short walk away, and there are plenty of amenities to support children's interests. The staff was amazing and gracious, and the food will support a palate for a "foodie." - Do not miss out on the pig roast!
Villa Castellemonte was like having your own 5 star hotel... just for your friends/family. I hope we have the opportunity to return soon. -

Once upon a time (late 1950s), in the U.S. of a., there was a popular television show called "Queen for a Day." People would write in nominating their wife, mother, great-aunt, whoever, to be a guest. Producers would chose women who were worthy - especially notable for their self-less acts of kindness. Hosted by Jack Bailey, those lucky enough to be selected would be ushered in and seated on the red, velvet throne. A pretty, leggy assistant would place a rhinestone-encrusted crown on her head. Jack would proceed to tell her what her goodness was finally going to reap. It always entailed a beauty makeover, mega-pampering experiences, and a stay at some luxurious hotel. Each queen would predictably cry tears of joy.
This is how I felt when I stayed at Villa Castlemonte . The man who granted this wish was my king, my prince, my knight in shining armor. And I cried when I had to leave. The good news was that my royal treatment lasted for a long weekend! My significant other surprised me with this enormous gift and he invited three other couples - our favorite friends anywhere. It was like a fairytale in a castle by the sea in a distant land!

From the minute we arrived until the minute we left we felt so welcome. We left the world behind as we entered the gates and had the most relaxing vacation ever.
The villa is most impressive and takes you to another time and place...across the ocean to the amalfi coast in Italy. This Mediterranean influence is also accented in the beautiful art work that can be found throughout the villa and the hand painted ceilings. The villa is carefully furnished and no matter where you look, everything fits.
We were a party of eight people and all of us had the same impression about this property and our impression was perfect. There is nothing that we would have wished different. The staff were attentive to all our needs and requirements and were always available. The chef succeeded in putting together a fantastic menu that one would find in a 5 star restaurant. We were looking forward to each meal time to see what creation he had come up with next. The pool area is spectacular and is one of the most beautiful we have seen which was made even better by the staff constantly checking to see if our drinks were full. At night we kept ourselves entertained with the pool table, ping pong, table football, shuffle board and numerous other facilities available to us.
The entire property inside and out, was spotless and constantly maintained by their very professional staff. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone and am looking forward to returning. A very special thank you to making our stay a perfect one.

We went with five couples from (ages 45 to 80) who are friends and business colleagues from all parts of the us. We all met in Miami had dinner, stayed over at the airport and flew out the next morning to Puerto Plata. The Villa Owners arranged for our pick-up and took care of all the airport details and then wisked us off to the Villa...It was really more beautiful than we imagined! Bedroom Suites were perfect (we could have brought 3 more couples!) and we "drew lots" to determined what order to pick our suites...nobody really cared because each one had something special to offer! The staff catered to our every whim - our Butler was constantly taking drink orders (From "Limeades" to Rum Punches) the 60 foot pool was a joy - with it's zero entry, we all spent hours floating around...The Chef made anything we requested - from Lobster and Steak to fabulous Carribean Chicken - and the Desserts, just don't come on a diet!!!
Have been to other catered Villas and this one outshone them all - A Five Star rating from all 10 of us. -

My vacation at the villa was perfect. It was like living in a dream for a week. When you walk in the villa, it takes your breath away. Everything is so beautiful and majestic. The warm sun, the cool breeze, and of course, the crystal clear ocean that the villa overlooks. The hosts were also great people. The truly wanted to make our stay the best. Whether is was them setting up appointments and expeditions for us, or calling us for dinner, they were always a pleasure to be around. The food was another vacation of itself. Everything was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better vacation. I will absolutely be back there!!

Villa Castellamonte was a wonderful place to share with friends. The hosts were great and very personal, taking care of out every needs. The rooms were very private and had great views of the blue ocean. Food and drinks were a great taste of dominican cuisine. We had a tremendous experience and are definetely putting it on our list of places to revisit.

Villa Castellamonte was amazing. We stayed with a group of friends for a week and the place was absolutely beautiful. The view and location are breathtaking. The staff and their service was above and beyond. They booked spa appointments and taxi's for us to get around. Everything was taken care of by the time we had finished breakfast. The chef and food were better than any resort I have ever stayed at. I loved having the dogs stay at the villa with us. It made the place feel more like home. Not only was the villa and the location amazing but there were several things to do near by. There were beautiful beaches and waterfalls to see. If you are an outdoor person, there was a location you could cliff dive from. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone. It's a place that you will never forget and keep dreaming about going back to.

I am just writing you these few words to express my gratitude toward the amazing vacation that my friends as well as I had at villa Castellamonte. Even if the villa was way over my expectations once we arrived in Cabrera, the best souvenir that I will keep from my experience is the service that you provided. Freddie, Gabriel, Elvis and Felix were simply the best. I have never experienced service at this level and let just say that I am well travelled. And what can I say about Felicita, you are a happy, funny true person, and you do not leave anyone indifferent...you make a statement!
Food was great and well diversified! We had different themes during the week, and the staff went out of their ways to make those evening simply memorable.
The only negative is you do not choose the location for the beach.

This super deluxe exclusive villa is like staying at one's own private Ritz Carlton. Each room is like a piece of art and takes the visitor to another dimension of time and existence. Guests do not feel as if they are staying at a hotel. Villa Castellamonte becomes your home. I had to pinch myself every now and then to make sure that the experience was real and not the most fantastic dream. There is no place on earth that can compare to the beauty and splendor of this Villa. My hat is off to the design team and to the staff who operate the Villa and care for the guests. Yes - the staff really cares for you.

We spent a week there with family celebrating my dad's 75th Birthday. We had 19 family members ranging in ages 6-75 and everyone had an amazing time. The staff at the Villa made the whole week delightful and memorable. Felicita was incredibly helpful in arranging activities and making sure everything ran smoothly. She even took time out of her busy day to give some of us a personal tour of the area. Marcel, Felix and Elvis were amazing hosts. They were very helpful in getting us whatever we needed at any time. We've stayed at many 5 star resorts around the world and have never received the attention and care that these fine people provided. We would go back in a minute just to visit our new friends. We miss them already!
The Villa is incredibly beautiful, but also comfortable and welcoming. With a gorgeous pool, beach and game room - we were never short on activities. I highly recommend the beach bonfire- it came with a bar and music!
I read that location was a concern for some- that it was far from an airport. (11/2 - 2 hours away) While that is true, the fact that it is in an undeveloped area leads to the real charm of the Villa. The beaches there are rated in the top ten beaches of the world by Conde Nast and I would highly agree with them.
It wan an incredible week and we are already planning our return visit! -

I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Castellamonte in April of 2010. The Villa was
absolutly beautiful.It was very clean and the staff was tentative and polite. The food was excellent and the rooms were tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable, the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. There was always something to do at the villa such as play pool, swim,get a great massage or just float in the pool and hear the ocean. We loved everthing about the Villa, the only thing we didn't like was leaving. We can't wait to go back. Loved it so much I would rate it a 10! I would recommend it to everyone and
it's also a perfect place for a beautiful wedding.

The villa is absolutely beautiful and has all the amenities you need whether you choose to stay put or alternatively explore the areas in and around Caberra. The staff was excellent and very attentive - you are without want for anything. The meal courses were very good and plentiful. They make any adjustments you require. The accomodations were comfortable and I felt very much at home. There was nothing I didn't like about my stay other than it was too short. Thank you and I hope to return again!

We stayed at Castellamonte for 7 days and did not want to leave. The service was incredible and the staff was warm and inviting. It was difficult to eat all of the delicious food served to us on a daily basis but somehow we managed. :>) We were constantly pampered and treated like royalty, no wonder we did not want to leave. The Villa is beautiful with stunning views from every room and the location was perfect since we were not in a heavily trafficked tourist zone. It was nice to be amongst the locals and the locals were always smiling, happy and eager to help us in any way they could. There was nothing that I did not like about this vacation or my stay at Castellamonte except that I did not stay longer. I hope to return very soon.

Villa Castellamonte in the Dominican Republic is the most incredible vacation experience I have ever had. The villa is beautifully appointed yet welcoming and comfortable. All the bedrooms are detailed with gorgeous murals and paintings - not to mention fantastic beds!
The grounds and gardens with the ocean view are remarkable. I was always caught by surprise by the beautiful juxtapositions of the flora and ocean.
The staff is wonderful. They are there when you need them and note when you don't. They live behind the scenes working on making your stay perfect and comfortable.
The Dominican people are friendly and warm and the beaches are stunning.
What I liked most is the attention to detail, the warm and accommodating staff and beautiful vistas.
But most of all is sleeping with my bedroom doors open with the ocean breeze blowing in through the night.
What I liked least is leaving - had tears in my eyes.
Love it all and ready to go back.

Everyone loved the experience from the VIP airport service to the constant help
by the attentive staff. The house is gorgeous and absolutely perfect for a
group of friends. PERFECT pool!
The only improvement would be to clean the beach. It was very disappointing
to go down there everyday and have to walk through all that garbage to get to

Thank you for your insight into the beach cleaning. We have coordinated with the other beach villas to ensure the entire beach is cleaned regularly. Further, you will be happy to hear that we are in the process of rebuilding the entire stairway to the beach.
The new beach stairway will have multiple resting (seating) areas and be over 1.4 meters wide with hand-hewn stone walls. Safer, more comfortable and easier to navigate.

The architecture of the house was lovely and the gardens and grounds as well.
The dogs were great fun to have around. As a world traveled designer for over
40years I have seen the most exciting and the best in staff and amenities of
private homes and small hotels. The staff at the house was wonderful and so
friendly and willing to please. The chef was fantastic and provided 2 fantastic
dinners. The only draw back for me was the heavy feeling of all the rooms,
they felt dark when the sun was out and not inviting when the days were
cloudy...
I loved the long drives to the house it felt like Argentina!!!!! But upon returning
I will probably chose another house.
Please again thank the staff for all that they did for me. My very best wishes
to Felicita who do a fantastic job. I don't know what I would have done without
her. Her charm and care in every detail was excellent.... A big kiss to her as

Castellamonte is a magnificent villa with a staff that equals the finest five
star resorts in the world. The staff is attentive, approachable and extremely
well trained to make each guest's stay memorable. In addition, the
members of the staff are very friendly and are very helpful in getting to
know the local Dominican culture. My girlfriend and I stayed in master suite
2 for 2 weeks during the months of July and August this summer and the
room was extremely comfortable and i would recommend it to anyone. This
suite has an amazing bathroom with a jacuzzi and an awesome view of the
Atlantic Ocean. This suite is extremely romantic and tastefully decorated.
Each room of the villa is decorated with great care and the overall result is a
very luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere in which one can truly relax.
The cuisine was excellent and the chef, Freddy, is very open to comments
and suggestions, he just wants to please his guests' palates. I frequently
asked the chef to make Dominican dishes and each dish was delicious and
prepared with great care.
Marcel and OSI and Felix were very attentive to our every need and made
our stay, one that we will never forget. We loved playing pool each night on
the outside patio with music blasting and the awesome pool glimmering in
the moonlight.
One of my favorite experiences was eating under the stars by the pool on
barbeque night, it was a meal eaten in paradise. One of my least favorite
experiences was leaving the villa, it is an extremely special place which is
too difficult to leave. -

This was our 6th time to rent a villa for our annual summer vacation, so we
have had quite a bit of experience with villa rentals. This one was exceptional,
all the rooms were large and comfy just as nice as the upstairs master! The
staff was on their game more than any other villa we have visited. The towels
and sheets always smelled fresh and clean which was a pleasant surprise. Very
professional and hassle free vacation!! Would highly recommend for small or
very large groups! Thanks again to the staff for a fabulous vacation! -

Pros:
The staff and the service were awesome and second to none! The view of the ocean was awesome! The cook was awesome! The home was really nice, clean and I would recommend it for a long vacation. The staff will do whatever it takes to make your stay as comfortable and satisfying as possible.
Cons:
Although the Villa was nice, the airport is simply too far from this location! Didn't care that the air condition was turn off daily, it was just too hot for that! If you have a large group, be sure to be flexible with your sleeping arrangements. All rooms are not equal! However, I would still recommend this location,

Be delight with the marvelous surroundings of Cabrera in this Villa .Excellence is what you will get from the team. Marcel, Feliz, Freddy and others will make your vacations so enjoyable, that When im coming back is the question in your mind rigth after you leave. Excelent food and drinks together with the best service, nothing less than perfection.
I just love this place!

I extremly recommend it !!!!. Bring with you some extra days, at the end of your vacations is pretty sure want stay longer there, it happenned to me! -

I love taking friends here. It is a beautiful property with the best staff. Every member of the staff was as wonderful as the first time I was here. Marcel should be given special note, however. What a gentleman and an entertainer. Thanks also to Josie(sp?) and the most wonderful chef Freddy. I never cease to be amazed visiting Villa Castellamonte.

The Villa Castellamonte, staff and services exceeded our high expectations. We chose Villa Castellamonte for my sister in laws 40th birthday. 10 women traveled from NY to leave it all behind for a girls getaway. The Villa was magnificent, the food was excellent and the staff was phenomenal. The staff was so accommodating taking care of all our requests with a smile. I definitely will be back and highly recommend renting the Villa Castellamonte for a fantastic vacation.

The Villa, property and beaches were the best ever locations to photograph several clothing and swimsuit lines.
Jason and his staff were superb!!
Everybody was warm, friendly and hospitable and the food was exceptional.
I felt like I gained 10 pounds!!
I was treated like a king.
I highly recommend this beautiful Villa, location, amenities, and the superb staff.

I am a photographer and videographer in South Florida. My travels have taken me throughout Europe, Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, and the United States. Never have I felt more "home away from home" than I did during my recent stay at Villa Castellamonte.
The architecture and furnishings of the villa are so impressive, you will feel as if you have been swept away to a romantic rendezvous with a member of royalty. The amazing entryway leads to spacious living rooms, luxurious bedroom suites, and elegant dining areas. And the food was simply delectable!
There were so many amenities, I did not have time to enjoy them all – billiard and poker tables, games, videos, swimming pool, jacuzzi, massage and spa treatments. Meanwhile, the Wifi wireless access and Skype phone privileges allowed me to (briefly) connect with the outside world before escaping reality again.
From the breathtaking view of the ocean waves (and yes, whales!), to the hospitable and humorous staff, each day spent at Villa Castellamonte was relaxing and rejuvenating. And when it came time to actually take photos and shoot video, I had my choice of many beautiful beach backdrops and intriguing interiors.
Our host was particularly helpful, making sure our every whim was taken care of while displaying a great combination of warmth, wit, and patience.
Our party certainly felt like celebrities during our stay at Villa Castellamonte, and I recommend it to anyone seeking a paradise retreat with all the comforts of home.

I had an amazing time at Villa Castellamonte, it truely is a "Castle by the Sea". Opulent surroundings with a laid back at atmosphere, what more could you ask for? I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Dominican Republic and staying at Villa Castellamonte.
Our group consisted of 6 models and 6 photographers from various parts of the United States.
The experience surpassed any expectations we had. The grounds were immaculate and the Villa itself was absolutely breathtaking.
The most impressive part of this trip was the friendly and dedicated staff. They really made all the difference. By the end of the week they felt like family.
I would highly recommend this location to anyone and look forward to making this an annual event! -

Villa Castellamonte is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. It has a breathtakingly lovely view of the ocean and perfect landscaping. We were doing photoshoots there and the backgrounds were spectacular! We took thousands of photos and never ran out of unique beautiful backgrounds.
The pool is kept very clean and the Hot tub is amazing. There are guards at the front gate so you always feel safe.
The staff and owner could not have been sweeter or more helpful. They do everything to make sure you trip is awesome - and you're enjoying your stay.
This is definently an experience of a lifetime! -

The villa was better then any other 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was very good always going out of their way to make sure we were having fun. This villa is very well designed, I would recommend this home to all my friends. There is something about this place that will make you think you are Royalty the way everybody is being taken care of. If you want to be in paradise this is where you want to go if you want to just relax. The view alone is just awsome. If your a photographer this is the place to go there is not a bad back drop in the whole villa.

We travel with 13 very close friends and family to celebrate 2 Birthdays and an Anniversary. We had an amazing time.
The house is beyond belief. Everything is perfectly attended to.
The staff is even better. We very much enjoyed having the entire staff interact closely with our group. Getting to know them was such great fun.
The two Great Danes were like family. They made the Villa seem like "home away from home."
I would highly recommend visiting Castellamonte. -

This was our 4th time back to the Villa, and the 2nd time as a party of 19 (the family keeps growing and the Villa keeps accomodating). We had an amazing time once againn, each year the food improves, the staff are outstanding and in our opinion even with 19 people we see no reason to leave the proerty during our stay. We did go four-wheeling for an afternoon which was beautiful. (although the machines could use a little maintenance, and are not a part of the Villa). there is plenty of room in the house to "get away" if need be, the pool and hot tub are the focal point and there is never a shortage of excellent food or frozen concotions (both with and without alcohol). If you are planning a family reunion, or a family get away with all the features of a large resort, without the crowds and other people invading your privacy, you will find no better place!!

We had one of the best vacations ever here at the villa. The villa was incredible, the staff were wonderful and attended to our every whim. The food was excellent and drinks were plentiful! Having the dogs around was an extra special treat and made it truly feel like it was our home for that week.

We were a group of 3 couples that rented the home for a week. It was our first time in a rental home and we loved it. The staff was absolutly wonderful. They were very discret .
The food they cooked for us was very very good. The snacks were also incredible. The house is absolutly beautiful, big and clean. The pool is the best, the grouds were impeccable. The beach is close but it is hard to walk on it and it is not very clean. We did not go see the other beaches nearby because the weather was not so nice, unfortunatly.
The only thing that would keep us from going back are the 2 dogs (great danes). It is not so much the dogs but the fact that they can go in the house and on the sofas whenever they want. One of them was always smelling bad a lot even though they would wash her almost everyday. The furniture smelled bad because of that and there was always a lot of hair on them.
It is the only reason we would not go back.

I have rented villas many times before in the Caribbean, and this one by far was the best experience. The villa is spectacular, the staff first rate, and the food was wonderful. We had a large party with diverse requests, and the staff did an outstanding job making sure we all had a terrific time.
This villa is particularly good for large parties. We had 14 people in our party, and there was plenty of room and things to do for everyone. The kids (and adults) loved the pool, and the game room was enjoyed by all.
I was the person who booked the vacation, and the management company who oversees the villa made planning our trip very easy. We strongly recommend this villa, and plan on returning in our future.
