Stunning Manoir in Normandy near D-Day beaches plus smaller guest house.

The manoir has 5 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and can sleep up to ten. In addition, there is a guest cottage with three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which sleeps six and is also available for rent. These buildings are surrounded by a large and quiet private garden. A private caretaker lives in the original caretakers lodge from the 1800's.

The location of our beautiful vacation homes is better than most hotels in Normandy and are central to famous points of interest: the famous landing beaches of WWII, 25 minutes from chic Deauville and its film festival, 7 mi...les to Caen the home of the incredible WWII Museum. Bayeux is ten minutes drive away, a medieval town on a river and home of the famous tapestry of the Norman Invasion and 1066 fame. And of course, Normandy itself is a simply beautiful region where you can enjoy the beach, bicycling, golf tennis and great food.

NORMANDY MANOIR - Sleeps up to 10; 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms

This beautiful home has been painstakingly restored to its original beauty and is surrounded by a large garden, wonderful for sitting outside and enjoying long meals on sunny days. Its village location means you can walk to your local baker, the weekly local market in the church square, the patisserie, greengrocer, butcher etc - all part of the charm of staying in France. It is an excellent base for exploring Normandy, one of the unspoiled regions of France.

The living room is a large, sunny room with marble floors and touches of red. There is a large, comfortable beige sofa and two mahogany banquettes to make a comfortable, welcoming lounge.

The entire top floor of the Manoir has been converted to a stunning and comfortable media room for your relaxation and comfort. The tall ceilings and exposed beams of this large room make it a favorite for our guests.

The large dining room with antique fireplace is on your right, decorated in French country style. The antique trestle table can seat up to ten and gives the room a warm ambiance, for lively meals together during your stay.

GUEST COTTAGE - Sleeps up to 6; 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

The guest house is built on the beautiful gardens surrounding the manoir and caretakers cottage. Enter the living room from a small patio with table and chairs outside. The living room is furnished with comfortable pale sofas and antique oil painting which contrasts beautifully with the stone walls.

The small kitchen has every appliance and convenience you need for cooking and enjoying your stay. This second living room has a sofa bed to sleep one to two people.

  The location of the house in Douvres La Delivrand was perfect, with easy access to the beaches and other points of interest. The caretakers were always accessible and helpful. The house itself was beautiful! Would love to have that kitchen in my own home! We truly enjoyed France and the people were gracious, hospitable and made us feel right at home. We will certainly call on you again when we visit "La Belle France!"
