Description from the owner
Tree houses have something to say. They speak in an ancient language, and the message is universal: climb up and be in harmony with Nature.
Let go of earthbound encumbrances and be free. You may not be young enough any more to climb a tree, branch by perilous branch, but so what?
The important thing is being in the tree not how you get up in it. (Peter Nelson and Garry Hadden).
A unique experience, living in a giant coniferous tree, nestled in its branches, with nature all around you. Fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle and wake up in luxury. Topo's Tree House has 2 decks, with an extra 3rd little deck to enjoy your mo...Read more

Additional Location Information
At only 100 mt. down the little sand road lies the beach of Playa Negra. A well known beach for surfers. The coconut trees, the beach, the surfers, swimmers and the famous 'Reggae Bar' make it a great place to relax and enjoy life. Sit on the open air terrace of 'Reggae Bar' over-looking the beach, feel the breeze as it moves through the palm leaves, enjoy a Pina Colada and the local dish of Coconut Chicken with Rice & Beans or a fresh Redsnapper grilled on the BBQ. Friday nights are 'Live Music' dance and move to the vibes of Reggae, Calypso and Blues. For the younger generation hit the town! The streets are full of locals and tourists dancing and having fun to the music of Reggae Dancehall.
During the day, go snorkeling on the famous coral reef in the National Park of Cahuita. You will discover an underworld full of a multitude of colourful tropical fish, live coral, sea stars, seahorses, manta rays, dolphins and much more. The hike through the park winds its way around the secluded lagoons where monkeys, sloths and parrots abound.
Fishing, boat trips, dolphin sitings, ziplining through the tree tops and horse back riding on the beach are only a few of the things to do in this area.

Fort CollinsAwesome Place!
Left on 01/23/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Was able to stay at Topo's Tree House for a few days in late December with some friends. We visited many places in Costa Rica and Panama and this place was one of the highlights. Topo was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the Cahuita area. This is a must if you are in the Cahuita area.
We were able to hear the monkeys hollering a few times while at the property. Also there are many cool frogs and other wildlife on the property. The open air feel is great and honestly we weren't overwhelmed with bugs or the elements. The reggae bar down the road is a good time at night for some good dancing and drinks as well!
Over all a memorable experience that I hope to enjoy again sometime! -

LAAmazing experience!
Left on 10/20/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Actually sleeping in a tree, wow!
But with all the comforts. It made for a special expereince that my husband and daughter enjoyed as much as I. Waking up in the morning the the sound of howler monkeys and a sloth actually came and visited us, as he or she was passing through the trees. Its very close to the beach, a 2 minute walk at tops. There were 2 great restaurants around the corner, on the beach. Good local food like coconut chicken. With bicicyles we road into the village of Cahuita to visit the National Park and do a little shopping. There are 2 mini supermarkets with everything you need, a bank and a drugstore, plus lots of little artisnal shops. We had a great time and can recommend this place absolutely, a must, if you are looking for a tree house experience!
