This was easily the best holiday rental we have ever stayed in. The rooms were all spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Photos can sometimes "tart-up" accommodation and to be honest I wasn't expecting it to be actually as good as it was, very happy to be wrong though! The accommodation is a stones throw from the beach, across a quite road, there are netted areas to swim along the beach and the centre of Palm Cove with its various restaurants is a about a 15 minute walk along the beach. There's a Coles supermarket within walking distance too, about 3 mins in the car. We spent most of our time here travelling around the Cairns region and it was a joy to come back to such a beautiful "home" each evening. Although we intended to go out to dinner in Palm Cove or Cairns we were actually a lot happier just sitting on the huge balcony looking out to sea, eating and drinking whatever we had bought earlier that day, bliss. The owners were hugely helpful and friendly too, we booked and paid for our trips to The Great Barrier Reef and Kurunda Scenic Railway and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway directly with them which was so convenient. A drive to Mossman Gorge, Daintree and Cape Tribulation are also highly recommended. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

After readying so many great reviews for Villa Beach I thought, "these reviews are too good to be true" and "but it looks exactly what I am after" and "will I or won't I book". Thank goodness I did! From the moment I stepped into the villa apartment I was on a high, the villa looking straight out onto the beach and ocean. First impression... Villa Beach web site definitely is enticing but really does not do it justice, the real thing is way better than what you envisage from seeing the web pictures. The beautiful furnishings and attention to detail are exceptional. Location 2nd to none. The apartment was great for 2 couples because one bedroom and its bathroom is at the front of the villa and the other bedroom is at the back of the villa with its own bathroom as well, total privacy for everybody, and in between is the full size kitchen, living and dinning areas which have great beach & ocean views. This is 5 star accommodation.

Well here we are at Villa Beach sitting on the balcony of our villa apartment looking straight out onto the beach just like we were told we would when we booked. My husband and I are so impressed with Villa Beach I just had to write this review for this place whilst I was actually experiencing it. We have just had a BBQ lunch on the balcony and sitting looking onto the beach enjoying an australian sauvignon blanc. Now this is what I call living in paradise. The villa is beautiful, spacious, love the furnishings, really great design and the presentation absolutely faultless, better than a brand new display home. Girls, from the full size kitchen you can look out onto the beach while you knock up something special for your man, hang on, maybe it should be the other way around! This morning we walked up the beach and had breakfast at Vivo which we can recommend and then had a bit of a swim, sunbake and read under the coconut palms right in front of Villa Beach. Sound too good to be true, that's why I have to write this now while I'm living the dream holiday we have been 'dreaming' about for so long back home. We went to the outer part of the Great Barrier Reef yesterday, words fail to describe how beautiful it is, you have to see it to believe it, it's definitely a "bucket list" thing you have to do. We went with Ocean Freedom Cruise and they were so helpful and friendly they topped the day off. Nb. Book with Trish at Villa Beach and get a discount rate. Villa Beach advertising says it's beachfront position is like a south pacific island, it's true ! and central to all activities, close to a supermarket which has absolutely everything and walking distance to great beachfront restaurants and cafes. The Palm Cove/Clifton Beach area is truly the best place to holiday in Cairns and we are so glad we found this fantastic place on the beach.

This was our final resting place on our fantastic trip to australia and it did not disappoint. This place was beautiful!! The property and apartment were immaculate and our hosts were gracious and very helpful in helping book some of the local attractions. We absolutely felt like we were in a tropical paradise and the location was fabulous. A short stroll down the beach brought us to restaurants and shops and a short drive got us to the great barrier reef tour boats, the railway and the sky train...all must do activities if you are staying here. This is a place we would definitely visit again.

When my husband Steve and I arrived at Villa Beach we knew we had hit the jackpot. This is a standout property and we didn't want to leave. Positioned right on the beach our villa apartment had a fantastic view straight onto the beach not only from the balcony but from our bedroom, kitchen, lounge and living area. This was living on the beach in paradise! The villa has every thing you could possibly want, the owners have really paid attention to detail, from the beautiful furnishings to the numerous inclusions and the absolute cleanliness. The friendly greeting when we arrived from Trish made us feel at home instantly and nothing was a problem to her, she got us discounts at restaurants as well as off all our tours and the local knowledge she shared with us made our stay easy and relaxing. Villa Beach is definitely located in the best position in Cairns, on the beach, central location to every reef tour we chose, short distance to the Kuranda Rail and Skyrail, Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge Rainforest and a full size supermarket only minutes away where we stocked up on all our groceries and refreshments!! Their advertising says "quiet tropical South Seas ambience", its right. We strolled up the beach to Palm Cove a few times which is just a short walk from Villa Beach to a number of restaurants for lunch and then lazily strolled back and sat on the beach for a quiet drink. This is what we hoped and dreamed it would be like when we booked and it happened. If you want to get your picture taken with a koala bear like I did you can actually cuddle one and get a photo at the Cairns Tropical Zoo which is in close walking distance from Villa Beach. Steve and I only have wonderful things to say about Villa Beach and highly recommend this place, we will be telling all our friends for a long time to come. Congratulations and a big thank you to the owners Trish & Graham who have shared their magnificent piece of paradise with us.You made our honeymoon very special.

Having been to Cairns several times we wanted something a little quieter for our special 30th wedding anniversary.
We love the Palm Cove area which includes Clifton beach for its great weather and beaches.
Advertied as "beachfront" can sometimes be a bit misleading,but believe me this is Beachfront!
We arrived from NZ at 11pm after a short drive from Cairns airport,Villa Beach is very easy to find.
Trish met us and showed us to our Villa,wow were we surprised?
Trish showed us how everything worked and gave us some recommendations of where to eat and shop .
Our second storey villa overlooked the beach and pool with our bedroom also facing the beach with its own onsuite .
Tastefully decorated is the word to describe the villa,just like you are at home,with all the mod cons flat screen tvs,vids,music cds etc.
The villa has ceiling fans and is fully airconditioned,we prefered to open the shutters and listen to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach.
Many an hour was spent on the beach ,sunbathing or walking in the evening,this is one of autralias most outstanding beaches.
Graham and Trish live on site and are there as little or as often as you need.
We had a fabulous anniversary although I peeked a little early courtesy of a bottle of bubbly that Trish had thoughtfully left for us,very nice it was too.
The pool is nice and cool with the seawater around 26 degrees.
The restaurants and shops of Palm Cove are an enjoyable 10 minutes walk away.
The saddest part was leaving this lovely plce,but we'll be back thats for sure.

We stayed at Villa Beach mid august and when we arrived my husband and I could not believe our eyes, just amazing ( and my husband booked it! ). What a location, right on the beach and the villa apartment was magnificent. The apartment looked straight onto the beach, and the sound of the ocean makes you go wow ! The villa apartment is decorated beautifully with exceptional quality furnishings and it just makes you relax into your surroundings. It was just like a show home, like new and had every conceivable thing we wanted. The b-b-q on the balcony was great and we enjoyed eating there just looking at the beach and I loved the kitchen with its view onto the beach. We experienced some beautiful sunsets sitting on the beach with a cold drink (or 2) just soaking it all up. We walked up the beach to the restaurants and cafes of Palm Cove and hired a couple of bikes for a few hours to see the sights. Villa Beach is definately situated on the best beach in Cairns and is so central to everything. There is also a full size supermarket just a short distance up the road that we walked to even though we had a car. It has everything, which made life so easy.
We went to the reef on Quicksilver and I can't recommend it enough, a truly fabulous day that my husband and I will never forget. Also the train to Karranda and the skyrail back through the rainforest is a must do. Must thank the owners Trish and Graham for making our special wedding anniversary holiday a wonderful experience, they were so friendly and ready to help and their local knowledge of restaurants etc was the best. They really look after the property, it is a credit to them. Our memories of sitting on the beach and on the balcony just mesmerised by the sound of the beach and those gorgeous palm trees is etched in both our minds. We need to go back to that relaxed pace of the place already. Villa Beach is one of the best places we have ever stayed at, if not the best, and that's saying something.
