Last September my wife, two year old son and I stayed at the Bayview House with Bill and Margaret and after a week none of us wanted to leave. For a very good price, we enjoyed some stunning views, plenty of room, clean and delightfully decorated rooms, comfortable beds, excellent breakfasts, access to a pool and some much needed peace and quiet. Our little boy found loving grandparents in Margaret and Bill and we enjoyed their pleasant company. They wholeheartedly took care of us. If you are going to Cairns avoid the expensive hotels that only provide you with a small, old and stuffy room and make your stay a life-long memory by staying with Bill and Margaret. And remember one week is not enough.

We stayed with Bill and Margaret Morgan first in Nov 2004. They provide a high level of comfort and service. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean.They overlook a lovely pool with great views beyond over Cairns and the sea. Breakfast is taken in a guest area and the food is wholesome and varied giving a great start to the day. Our hosts have got a wealth of information about the attractions in the area and helped us make the best of our stay by making bookings for trips. We would not hesitate to return to Bayview House which we used as a base to explore Northern Queensland.
