Lovely relaxing stay in Cosy Cottage

Left on 09/23/2011 for a stay in September 2011

Everything we needed in a lovely cottage in a quite village.Found it very dark to be able to walk to the pubs in Tealby. The Old Barn was the best warm welcome and lovely food.Wish they ran our local.Did not find The Kings Head very welcoming.
Walking with the dog in Willowby woods we found the best place.
Only two down falls. The steps in the cottage are very steep and i fell down them and the other down fall is we had to come home. Thanks for a lovely stay

      An excellent all-round experience

Although the kitchen was a lttle tight, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ramblers' Cottage. Right on th edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, the area was interesting but quiet and the locals very friendly.

      brilliant

Left on 09/21/2011 for a stay in July 2011

It was booked last minute and we were really impressed. The cottage was lovely, small but big enough for the two of us and our greyhound, very clean, situated in a beautiful area with easy access to other places and we had an amazing welcome pack. The three of us will certainly go again, would recommend it to anyone for a peaceful but interesting break.

A peaceful and relaxed week in the Lincolnshire Wolds

Left on 03/02/2011 for a stay in January 2011

Ramblers Cottage was small but very cosy this cold January week. Nobody bothered us at any time. The wolds, coast and Lincoln all fascinating. Pubs very welcoming. an ideal getaway which was just what we wanted.
The cottage was possibly a little under-equipped, e.g. no cereal bowls, tea towels, kitchen cloth (J cloth).

      Lovely cottage, pretty location

Left on 11/06/2010 for a stay in August 2010

The cottage was lovely, clean, steep stairs, comfortable bed, everything you needed was there. Garden was nice, pet friendly and secure, parking was not a problem. Nice walks with the dog on the 'doorstep'. The downside was the kitchen if you wanted to use the oven / grill, once the door is open you can only stand at the right hand side there is no other access. Our welcome pack was very disappointing (extremely basic), clearly this had been overlooked judging by the comments in the visitors book, previous visitors had expressed comments as to how good this was.

      Dog friendly, clean and comfortable.

Left on 11/05/2010 for a stay in August 2010

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - it is unusual to find a dog friendly cottage that is maintained to this high standard. Having a garden area and walks from the door was ideal, though it is alos well placed for car journies throughout Lincolnshire. One suggestion for improvement, would be to make the back of the garden more secure as there is no fence behind the neighbouring shed. A great little cottage!
