186470fantastic 100% a real home from home
Left on 05/25/2012 for a stay in October 2011
my wife and I spent the 1st 2 weeks of october 2011 at the Casa MIa and we where completly overwhelmed by the app and the staff.it truly was a home from home and very clean, comfortable, and sooo very private.it was a 2 miute walk onto Holiday st @ 12 into Calangute itself.the staff are there for 24/7 and are really helpfull with everything,if you dont want to cook just ask them and they will knock your dinner up for you,go to the shops, give you imformation, nothing is to much trouble to them.i cannot say enough about the Casa Mia app.we will defenly be back.so if you are reading this report, please take my advice and go and book the Casa Mia you wont be disappointed.make sure you use there pickup/dropof from the airport you will not find cheaper +if you want to use him to take you sightseeing that is not a problem and great value.about £15 for the day.

Suffolk, EnglandWonderful relaxing place to spend a holiday
Left on 03/12/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Casa Mia is an oasis of calm set in the hustle and bustle of Calangute. It is situated at the end of Holiday Street where it is close to the sandy beach with the beach shacks and some fine restaurants. The apartment has been stylishly designed by its owner Rohit and his wife, it has a wonderful elegant bedroom, large kitchen and lounge area together with an outside veranda. We can't wait to get back there next year and thoroughly recommend you give it a try.

294003little gem in Calangute
Left on 11/15/2011 for a stay in November 2011
very clean, functional, superbly located - just away from the main part of Calangute adjacent to probably the best stretch of beach in that part of Goa.
Only drawbacks - the WiFi connection only worked for 1 of 7 days; showers seem to have a mind of their own when it comes to water warmth and pressure.
Definitely coming back to stay here again... -

Mumbai IndiaA real find - good alternative to a hotel
Left on 03/19/2011 for a stay in March 2011
We have always stayed at hotels on previous trips to Goa but have opted for designer, luxury apartments on our travels outside of India. After a lot of sifting and sorting and rejecting of other options, we settled on Casa Mia(our other options are usually the Taj at Fort aguada or boutique hotels).
With a 2 year old in tow, we really wanted a place that would let us have the fun we have been used to as a couple travelling together(near the beach, close to good restaurants, cafes, art galleries, bars) but also something that was kid friendly(quiet, airy, with a kitchen, feels like home).
Casa Mia was all that and more. Each unit comes with a bright airy living room done up in neutral tones, a fully equipped kitchen(crockery/cookware/appliances), a bedroom with ensuite bathroom/shower. There's a flatscreen TV and DVD player. The linen in the bedroom was soft and heavenly and perfect to fall into at the end of a hot day of sightseeing/beach tripping! The air conditioning throughout the apartment helped too.
We loved it and will be back again. -

When they said large they really meant it! Huge spacious rooms with all basic amenities in place. Hardly five minutes walk to the beach and helpful staff as far as fetching of things from the nearby shops was concerned. The fully equipped kitchen was very helpful in ensuring that we can cook our own meals as well. Would definitely go back.

Muscat, Sultanate of OmanLuxury, peace, and quiet during the Goan monsoon
Left on 09/09/2009 for a stay in July 2009
My wife and I had one of the ground floor apartments for three weeks this past July, and we couldn't have been better pleased with the choice. For once, what we had read on the 'Net pretty well matched what we found when we got there. The flat was roomy, the furniture -- mostly rattan and chintz -- was comfortable, and the kitchen was adequate to our needs although we did have to find larger ice cube trays. We loved the mattress, which was the most comfortable we've had in a very long time. Then there was the veranda on the back side of the building where we could sit and watch the rain. And between the AC and the numerous ceiling fans, we could keep ourselves as cool as we liked.
The location is in a quiet neighborhood near the beach; however, due to the monsoon, there were few tourists about, which meant that there were no auto-rickshas or tuk-tuks anywhere nearby. On the other hand, we didn't have their noise to deal with, either. Anyway, we did have access to two cars and drivers to ferry us around when and wherever we pleased. In addition, the two resident housboys were at our beck and call, and were more than happy to run out and get whatever we wanted from the local shops, not to mention cleaning the flat every day as well. We tipped them well when we left because they had been so very, very helpful.
There were only two problems we had while we stayed there: the wifi system was not working as promised when we arrived; however, Mr. Joshi arranged a wireless modem for us to use free of charge. I'm fold the wifi is working now. The other was beyond Casa Mia's control, namely periodic power failures, or "load-shedding" to use the Indian English term. Therefore, I'd advise bringing along at least one flashlight (torch). And lest I forget, we did not find mosquitoes to be a problem at all during the monsoon.

Phoenix, AZOur Home Away from Home
Left on 05/23/2009 for a stay in April 2009
My wife and I were picking up our baby in Mumbai and had to wait three weeks for an appointment with the Consular. We grew tired of the Mumbia and decided to leave for some place more scenic and relaxing. I don't think we could have made a better choice. The owners were very accommodating and helped us with very short notice. Upon arriving, we found the apartments to be better than we could have hoped. They are well kept, spacious, and beautifully decorated. They are situated a minutes walk away from one of the nicest beaches I've ever been to. And the staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. (We needed a cover for our baby's travel bed, and one of the staff rode his bike 28 km to get us one.) Overall, Casa Mia turned out to be the one of the best parts of our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, consider Casa Mia our home in India. We enjoyed our trip so much that we are planning to take our daughter back there when she's five years old.

Birmingham, UK12 days of bliss
Left on 05/22/2009 for a stay in April 2009
My husband and I spent a wonderful 12 days of our honeymoon at Casa mia. The apartment couldn?t have been nicer, it was very clean, tidy and the d?cor was of international standards. It is just 3-5 mins walk to the beach, there are some wonderful restaurants and I would recommend a visit to the flying dolphin for a drink and watch the sun set. The staff are always more than happy to help, nothing is to much bother. There is no swimming pool on sight but the flying stork around the corner will let you use there?s at a small charge of RS100 per couple. so thats not a problem.
I would defiantly recommend Casa mia to everyone.
We will defiantly be returning and taking the family with us.

Hyderabadbeautiful rooms!
Left on 05/21/2009 for a stay in April 2009
The rooms are gorgeous. It was a pleasure to stay there on our recent
trip. We had gone with some friends and Rohit / Anu were kind
enough to request the guests in the other room to shift upstairs so
that we could be accomodated. Very well kept kitchen, bedroom and
hall. Totally self sufficient. You just need to get your food items and
set for a wonderful stay.
Since the place is new, it did have some teething issues with the
staff..but nothing that a little training would not solve. I would
recommend this place. The beach is walkable distance and if you want
to get to Baga beach its just a 5 to 7 min drive. Quiet area and some
nice places to eat around. Keep up the good work.
Cheers,

Left on 05/21/2009 for a stay in January 2009
Our stay at Casa mia is really unforgettable.
It is conveniently near located in the one of
the most happening beaches of GOA (Calangute
Beach) in North Goa. The beach is just 5
minutes away from the place. The bedroom and
the living room with nice small kitchen gives
a very cozy feeling. The hospitality shown by
the manager is also unforgettable. We have
recommended this place to our friends. -

Washington DCAmazing place to stay...best in goa!
Left on 05/13/2009 for a stay in June 2008
My husband and I love Goa and have been many times before and stayed at several different places. Casa Mia was the most affordable, the best and most wonderful place of everywhere we either stayed or considered staying. The location is amazing -- 2 minute walk to what we think is the nicest part of North Goa beaches (not too crowded and yet has Goa vibe). The apartments themselves are spacious, clean and really nicely decorated. The owners are really friendly and courteous. The kitchens are great to have, though one hardly cooks in Goa! All in all, this place is terrific and just about the best deal in Goa!
