Excellent apartment and great value

The apartment is located at walking distance from the beach. The apartment was clean and had all facilities like plasma tv, air conditioner and kitchenette. Service was great. Overall it was a nice experience. The owner is very helpful and helped us make the most of our stay

The location was very good, a few minutes from the beach and the air conditioning worked well. The apartment requires some cleaning but the most important is the need for fresh and clean bed linen and towels.

Stayed here for just over a month in the 2 bedroom property (the owner has both a one bedroom and a two bedroom apartment in the same complex), and I would happily recommend it to anyone. The position of the complex is just off the main road in Calangute and close to everything you need. Ideally, hire a scooter while you are there as there is a lot to do in anjuna, Baga, Calangute and Candolim … all of which is easily accessible by a short ride on a scooter from the apartment. I would definitely stay there again without a second thought. To be totally honest, there were a couple of little “niggles” that I would mention (and I have already mentioned them to the owner … more about him later). 1) There isn’t any hot water. Now this isn’t an issue for most of the year, but in the winter the option of a warm shower would be nice. Don’t worry, the water isn’t that cold, but I happen to enjoy a hot shower. The owner has already said he will be adding this over Christmas 2012 … so that will no longer be an issue. 2) The swimming pool ….. while it is a nice little pool to have a splash about in at the end of the day, it could be kept cleaner. I also mention this to the owner as well. So, hopefully, the management company of the complex will ensure it is cleaned more thoroughly. 3) Personally I’ll like to see the apartment made a bit more secure (but then I do travel with laptops, hard-drives, numerous smart-phones (and, yes, you can get 3G on Vodafone there) and a tonne of technology – so I tend to be a bit over-the-top where security is concerned!!!). For most people I don’t think it would be an issue, but a few more locks on the doors would be nice. Again, the owner is making little improvements all the time, so I’m sure this won’t be an issue for long. Having said all that, let me make it very clear, these were little niggles (and I am “OCD” where security is concerned) and I am being hyper-critical by mentioning these 3 points ……. I always believe in telling the complete story, not just saying, “it’s fantastic” and it also clearly demonstrates that the owner is improving the properties all the time and responds to feedback (brilliant).
The owner is a great guy and extremely approachable. He is constantly improving the properties and also uses them himself sometimes (so they aren’t just on rent and forgotten about). Any problems, you just phone him and he gets it resolved immediately. He also bends over backwards to try and accommodate you and make sure you have a great time. This all adds to the enjoyment of the holiday as you know that he is always only a phone call away. He employs a cleaner who comes in regularly and does a nice job cleaning the apartment, always has a smile on her face, and is always willing to help is you need info about the local area – a great benefit to the apartment.
So, as I have said, I would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a nice apartment in North Goa. The apartment is great, the location is ideal, the owner is responsive and extremely helpful and the properties are being improved all the time. So I, for one, will be booking the 2 bedroom apartment again without a doubt and would recommend you do the same ;-)Response from Ashok Chandok - 03/31/2013

When we checked in we thought it would be ordinary appt...But we found its decor and cleanliness amazing...Swimming Pool was well maintained...Inhouse Restaurant served Continental and Indian Food...Overall stay was good

Coming to Goa for the first time, this apartment left a beautiful image in my mind. Beautiful view and convenient location, walking distance from the beach. Very secure area for girls since its gated. Extremely clean and 24/7 open swimming pool. And ofcourse, service to our connivence!
