Our property's location makes it ideal for families and walkers alike.

Our Villa has its own private, South facing, salt water, swimming pool (9m x 4m) and beautiful sea views, with tiled patio bathing area, sun beds, umbrellas and outside shower. Pool towels are also provided. NB: Swimming Pool access is via steps down to the lower level. The pool will NOT be shared by 2 different groups.

All our 6 berooms are large and spacious; 4 rooms have large king-sized double beds, 2 rooms have 2 single beds. All beds have special foam matresses to ensure an excellent nights sleep.

The living room...s have private balconies with amazing sea views, perfect for those evening drinks when all the village lights come on below. The spacious family kitchens have large solid wood kitchen tables and chairs, microwave, cooker and fridge/freezer and a very well stocked selection of pans & cooking utensils.

The second floor living area comprises of 2 further living rooms, two private patios, a large kitchen with large built-in internal barbecue, bathroom and shower room. Whilst this living area is completely separate from the first floor, with it’s own entrances, it also has an interconnecting mahogany staircase to the first floor (with lockable door) so is ideal for both large families and groups of friends.

NB: The villa will be rented as either a 3/4 bedroom villa or a 6 bedroom villa, therefore the swimming pool will not be shared by 2 different parties/groups.

The villa has free wifi internet and is within easy access to good levada walks.

The property is situated in banana groves and built on the terraced mountainside in a peaceful & tranquil hamlet. The main living area is at street level and enjoys magnificent mountain and sea views. The two local cafés are a 3 minute walk away where you will find a fabulous new childrens play area. The local village is a short 10min walk with bars, shops, church, post office & cash machine.

WINTER comforts: During the winter period we provide portable heaters and an electric radiator to keep you warm during the evening and night time. We also have a heated towel rail available all year round for that cosy feeling at bath time.

LOCAL Activities: Paragliding - has become quite famous in Madeira because of the fabulous views and beautiful locations. One of the great locations for this sport is Arco da Calheta - 10mins from Casa Vista do Ledo - because of it’s frequent good flying conditions all year round.

DIVING- A great place to go diving is off the coast of the small village of Madelena do Mar which is 10mins - 15mins drive from Casa Vista do Ledo.

The BEACH and MARINA area offers plenty of sports activities to, from water sport rentals, dolphin spotting trips, to beach Volleyball.Read more

Additional Location Information

The property itself is situated in 1600m2 of lush banana groves in the peaceful and tranquil hamlet of Ledo and enjoys magnificent panoramic views of both mountains and sea. The local cafe is a 2 minute walk away and the village of Arco da Calheta is just a short 10min walk. Here you will find bars, shops, a church and children's play area.
The busiest time of the year is the 7th and the 8th of September when the parish celebrates its annual procession and a fair to honour the patron saint São Braz.

9 - 12 guests; 80€ - price is per day for use of the second accomodation area of the house.
7 -8 guests; 30€ - price is per day for use of the 4th bedroom in the second accomodation area of the house.


A 25% deposit is due at the time/day of booking. If the deposit is not paid within 5 days of making the booking, the booking will automatically be cancelled.
The balance is due 28 days before the booking is due to commence.
