Booked this room on Booking.com original price was advertised at $350 per 2 nights. Total feels added up to 481.39. Booking.com states that they don't charge a fee - on the statement from Village Monache it lists $52.50 as Booking.com fee. There are other fees such as linen charge of $41.00 and Res. Processing Fee of $35.00 (what is this???). You add the sale tax and you will end up with almost 73% above the advertised price.
I contacted Booking.com and they claimed "it was all in the fine print". This is not the first booking with Booking.com, but most likely will be the last one.
Key was not available in the hotel lobby, I had to drive to another location, call the emergency number on the reservation and receive instructions about how to retrieve an envelope with keys from a closet. Check in is was after 5:00 PM, but the office closes at 5:00 PM, so all info is given over the phone. Check out is at 10:00 am - we were allowed to check out at 12:00 since there were no guests booked that day.
Moreover, the Bookings.com site has this hotel listed as a 5 stars hotel. The hotel signage has it displayed as a 4 stars hotel.

What a JIP!! You'll think you're booking a room at the Westin - and in essence you are as its clearly someones time share...However- you will have no access to room or maid service during your stay! You're allowed 2 - 10 min showers a day with no new towels during your stay. The TV doesnt even work!! There is a nice kitchen but the instructions they hand you tell you to buy your stuff cold because the fridge takes time to get cold. Ha. Thats an understatement. Hope you're not menopausal because the aC Doesnt work either. No yummie Westin products and if your key gets demagnetized you cannot ask the front desk for help / you need to drive into town behind the Rite aid to get a new one. Yeah thats convenient. (Did you get the sarcasm?) For over $200 a night its a complete rip off! I will say the beds are comfy - but the rest is overwhelmingly disappointing!! I was looking forward to a luxury weekend at the Bluesapalooza... Didnt happen! You are even asked to clean your room, take out the trash, do the dishes- and put em away... So basically its no vacation!! Call the Westin direct. Do not book this place!!! Guaranteed you will feel very cheated!!
