Beautifully situated in a peaceful corner of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, this charming semi-detached cottage sits between the clear waters of Loch Venachar and the wooded slopes of the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. It is part of a small group set at the end of a scenic 3 mile lochside single- track road. The interior is very well-presented with a welcoming atmosphere and lovely finishing touches and all rooms are on the ground level, The large enclosed garden features a covered patio with garden furniture, play equipment and a summer house.

Left on 01/17/2013 for a stay in December 2012
The cottage was superb -- cosy with the log fire etc, but with all mod cons -- modern bathrooms etc. The service was impeccable. The owner was there to greet us and explain everything, but then left us alone to enjoy the peace and quiet. She even supplied bread, milk, butter, tea etc and even whisky! The surrounding area was very scenic and great for walks, but not too isolated. We found a great pub nearbye to celebrate 'hogmanay'. Apart from the superb facilities and the sense of relaxation one of the best things was that the 3 dogs were made very welcome -- with their own towels in the bathroom. We will definitely go back (perhaps when the weather is warmer!) and have already recommended the cottage to loads of friends.
