Accommodation and facilities
The residence is in an idyllic location between the sea and the mountains. It is only 30 minutes from the beaches of St Raphael and Cannes, close to unforgettable towns like Grasse, Nice and Monaco, a stones throw from the nearest ski resorts of the southern Alps, from the spectacular Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Esterel mountains. Very nearby is the Golf de Terre Blanche, to Fay...ence’s gliding centre and to St Cassien lake where there are facilities for fishing, water sports, horse riding, walking and an adventure circuit.
Set in a green valley, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, below the hilltop settlement of Callian, one of the oldest villages in the region, Le Chateau de Camiole reflects the character of a traditional provençal village with its fountains, the warm tones of its facades and houses clustered round little squares.
The residence is made up of 7 buildings, housing a total of 183 high quality apartments, hotel rooms and suites and 18 villas with private swimming pools and large gardens.
A range of excellent amenities are on hand to enhance your holiday experience.
The “Jardins de Mathilde” restaurant offers a choice of buffet style dining or waiter service and has a beautiful outdoor terrace, seating 100 people, with panoramic views. As this restaurant is not managed by the residence itself neither its availability nor opening times can be guaranteed.
Or for a quick snack, the “Côté Sud”, beside the swimming pool is open from 18th June to mid September. When the sun has gone down, the Jc Club lounge bar has the feel of a jazz club with live music twice a week during high season.
The Spa facilities, for which there is an extra charge, are open to guests over 18 years of age and must be booked in advance. Here you will find a 700m² heated indoor swimming pool, two jacuzzis, a sauna, a steam bath a relaxation area and treatment rooms as well as a cardio- fitness training room. Depending on your apartment type, you are entitled to free access to the spa area for either one or several sessions. Spa treatments and use of the fitness room are available on payment of a supplement. There is free and unlimited access to the indoor heated pool.
Back outdoors, there are two infinity pools (each around 300m²) with a paddling pool area and a jacuzzi for 10 people.
The pool area is enclosed, is well equipped with sun loungers and parasols and is open from April to September, depending on weather conditions. The pools are heated at cooler times of the season.
There is a vast children’s play area with organised entertainment, games rooms and children’s club (paying) during French School Holidays.
In tune with the overall Provencal theme, there are several boules pitches around the residence.
Free wi-fi internet connection is available in the public spaces on site with cable connection in the apartments and villas.
We offer 4 types of accommodation here including 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and 3 bedroom villas with private swimming pools.
The 3 bedroom T4 apartments for 6-8 people measure approximately 60m² to 66m²
The living area has dining table and chairs for 8, flat screen TV, coffee table as well as a sofa bed.
Patio doors lead onto a balcony or terrace with garden furniture.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with good quality appliances including a microwave, a four ring ceramic hob, a conventional electric oven, an extractor hood, a fridge with freezer compartment, a dishwasher and an electric coffee machine.
There are three bedrooms, two with a double bed and the third one with twin beds or bunk beds.
The bathroom has a bath , basin, heated towel rail and a hair dryer and a separate WC. The shower room has an integral WC.
All the apartments are fitted with high speed cable internet access (free of charge, but not always very efficient) and air conditioning which can be regulated in each individual room.
All accommodations have a telephone and calls are paid for at reception.
There is one outdoor and one underground parking (payable as an extra) .
