We celebrated my parent's 40th anniversary at this beautiful home and it was perfect. The house is large and comfortable with a gas grill, pier complete with fishing and crabbing equipment, small beach area, pool, fire pit and canoes. We had 8 adults and 6 children totally occupied in a relaxing atmosphere that allowed us time to spend together without being on top of one another. The owner, Jon, is most accommodating and we could not have been happier. Thanks for a great place to unwind as a large group under one roof!

My family loved the vacation - thanks to the owner (and good weather) for an excellent week. We are an extended, three generation family.
The house is lovely; large, well thought-out and beautiful. We were impressed! when we drove up the drive for the first time. Old wood floors in a new house - great furnishings and lots of windows to the beach and pond. Plenty of bedrooms and lots of room for the family to gather on the main floor.
The property was like our own private "estate" for the week. We had a pool (very well done) boats and bicycles and a dock for us to crab and sun ourselves. We rented a boat and made several boat and car trips to Cambridge and the area attractions. We all relaxed and spread out; alternating between being lazy and adventurous. Kids, and adults alike had a super week!
The owner was very, very helpful. he gave us loads of reccomendations and checked in on us before and during the stay.
We would gladly recommend this house to any family looking for a Chesapeake Bay vacation

Delaware1st Annual Women's Retreat

There is only one word for our experience at this house.......PERFECT!!!! This was our church's 1st annual women's retreat and we could not have asked for a better house. It was clean, spacious, and an overall good feeling in the atmosphere. We are so greatful to you Mr Rosen for accomodating us. Looking forward to next year already.

We stayed here during a late weekend in Summer 2009 and it turned out to be far more than we've expected. We had a mini-reunion, four families of varying ages (4 year-olds to 70 year-old Grandma), and every single one of us had a really wonderful time!
The 4-hour trip from NJ to MD was well worth it. The minute we arrived, the house was pleasantly cool inside. The heated pool was inviting and quickly became a favorite for the kids from morning until late afternoon. The grown-ups had an equally fun time going night swimming.
The boating, crabbing, fishing, biking and tons of other outdoor activities kept everyone busy. The dads surely had smiles on their faces as wide as the kids everytime the traps came up with crabs caught in them. Late in the afternoon, all of us gathered around the fire pitt and enjoyed smores and stories.
The house itself was conveniently equipped with everything you'll need. The kitchen was modern, clean, well-kept as well as the rest of the house. The living rooms were tastefully furnished and became our venue for late night games and gatherings. The bathrooms were excellent as well. After a full day of activities, it was so nice to retire in the bedrooms wich were nothing short of relaxing.
We would recommend this home to families who want to make lasting memories. Furthermore, the owners were always eager to help with each and every concern we had, no matter how small.

really pretty home. spacious accomodations. really nice yard. this was a comfortable place to stay. furnishings were clean and tastefully done. if your looking for a quiet place to relax, this is a best kept secret

We really had a GREAT stay. The house is much more than we expected; it's very well done and comfortable (the owner was nice as well). The water views are amazing and the grounds perfect. We swam, fished, crabbed, biked and boated - had a great time off property as well. This was a TOP notch vacation.- thanks!
