Santa Cruz, CASimply wonderful!
Left on 10/11/2012 for a stay in October 2012
The preceding review does an excellent job of describing this delightful accommodation. Nicely decorated with a combination of antique furniture and all the modern conveniences including plush towels and crisp sheets. The complete set of dinnerware was decorated with a blueberry design.
After two weeks of a driving through the Maritime Provinces, this was the perfect way to round off our vacation by settling for a few days in charming Camden before our flight back to California. Loved the location, just a short walk to Main Street cafes and shops. Also grew to love the church bells ringing in every hour.
Our stay will be one of the highlights in what was a fabulous three week vacation. -

Left on 09/05/2012 for a stay in September 2012
My wife and I had an enjoyable return visit to Camden for Windjammer weekend over Labor Day 2012. This 2nd floor apartment is one of 4 units converted in a former single family home and is exactly as depicted in the pictures. It is very clean (my fussy wife was quite impressed), quite comfortable, very convenient 2-5 minute walk to downtown/harbor and represents a good value in our view. The owner did a nice job with the presumably recent renovations. Everything was new or appeared like new - appliances, toaster, microwave, towels, etc. While the furniture was not necessarily new, they were quite acceptable for a vacation visit. Owner very thoughtful in providing everything we needed for a vacation stay from kitchen utensils & spices, etc, some good Dvd's, grill with charcoal and lighter fluid, etc. You may enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon glass of wine on the front porch as we did. Owner/manager was pleasant, accomodating and timely showed up at arrival and answered the phone when called. For those looking for a little more space and/or comfort, suggest you check out the other units in this home available for a few more bucks. We look forward to our return visit to this home.
