Batte Hiking trails; restaurants such as Boynton McKay (a former Apothecary shop,then Soda fountain)Unique Maine shops, ocean, Schooner rides, lighthouses; Visit Marshall Point lighthouse from the movie "Forrest Gump", 30 minutes away; 15 minutes from Isleboro Island Ferry dock, summer home of John Travolta and Kirstie Alley. 20 minutes from Vinalhaven Island Ferry. A great in between stop if you are headed up to Acadia National Park, we are 1 1/2 hours from Bar Harbor.
1/2 mile from Maine Media Workshops and 2 miles from Center for Furniture Craftsmanship. Some light Winter skiing? One of the only ski slopes where you can ski and view the Ocean at the same time, the Camden Snow Bowl is a 'must try' for a nice easy to moderate expertise skier!
