Only 25 min.driving from Rome... This elegant and spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bath Roman Villa located inside of Etrucscan National Parc Veio, in most beautiful country side north of Rome. It is like mini boutique hotel with perfect mix of antiques and modern design in romantic setting, with living room about 150 sq.m with period paintings, marble fire place, velvet curtain of 17th century, marble stairecase. The rooms are large and light, with beige color parquet floor throughout the house, the bathrooms are elegant with peach marble sink top, some with victorian bathtub, others with showers in peach marble mosaic. All bedrooms overlooking the... park with the 16 x 4 m swimming pool in grey stone. Villa has unmistakable roman flavor thanks to the inner court filled with trees and flowers - it is all gives to the house wonderful and magic atmosphere... Wellcome!

The Villa is about 450 sq.m , has 3 levels. On the 1st level is most beautiful Living Room where is a fire place area, dining area, TV area and sitting area with bar - facing inner court which we call Winter Garden - in the summer it becomes like our second Living room - there are 2 comfortable day beds perfect for lazy summer afternoon , dining table with armchairs. It is ideal place for lanch or dinner - while enjoing your meal under grande umbrellone you have a beautifull view on Park with swimming pool, surrounded by olive and palm trees, roses and lavenderder bushes.

About the Bedrooms. On each side of Winter Garden there is a bedroom with private bathroom - both of them facing the pool. Melograno Bedroom has king size bed and bathroom with Victorian bathtab. Oliva Bedroom has full size bed - antique Empire bed w/modern mattress. Bathroom has the shower. If you take a staircase up you will find Mimosa Bedroom with nice small terrace overlooking on Winter Garden and Park w/ pool - king size bed, bathroom with shower and Victorian bathtab, walk-in closet. If you take down staircase from Living Room you will arrive to the Park level where is the biggest , about 100 sq.m.and most romantic bedroom called Le Palme (we call it Suite) - is like a loft, 2 rooms join together, all open space with working fire place in gray stone w/ Napoleon divan and 2 leather armchairs - there are 3 beds- Classic Queen size bed, Full size bed and Single size bed both in Empire style. Private bath w/shower enclouse in peach marble mosaic and Victorian Style bathtub. From Le Palme Suite you have direct access to the Pool.

About the Pool - the size 16m x 4 m , it's constant depth is about 1,50m - it is NOT fenced from the house, therefore children must be supervised at all times.

About the Kitchen - it is very modern, quite chic, very essential - you will find everything necessary to cook your favorite italian meal. On your arrival you will find a bottle of vine, mineral water, milk, fruit juice, fresh bread and olive oil to make Spuntino( like we say in Italy) - what ever the house will offer you - so you can relax after the long trip without running to the store to get something to eat.   My wife and I spent seven nights at the Villa Romana in July 2009. This vacation home is one of the most beautiful and exclusive settings we ever stayed in. Wonderful interiors, tasteful and luxurious furnishings and unparalleled service with personal touch. The host Irina Marini was very gracious and attentive. She created a very relaxing experience in its unique, fairytale atmosphere that makes you feel like you never left home. Irina's attention to detail is unbelievable.
  We would love to return to Villa Romana and certainly recommend to anyone who appreciates true comfort and luxury.

  That was the best thing we ever done. Our friend from Milano recommended to take a look at this house because she was the friend of the owner, and so we decided to stop by to say hello to Irina since we were traveling to Rome by car. When, at first we entered the house, we could not believe the warmth and elegance of the place, it felt like chic little design hotel...it was overwelming, everything was so perfect, so surprising, i have never been in such beautiful and cosy place before. The bedrooms, bathrooms...were so original and simple in same time...so much space everywhere. The views from villa, the sunset with wine offered by Irina...it was just so perfect, she invited us to stay for dinner, i remember she cooked fish...amasing! and so we decided TO STAY! Next morning we had breakfast in that Winter Garden- ohh!that view on Park and pool i stil have in my eyes. After breakfast we drove to Rome-it took us only 30min-Irina said it was better to put the car in garage Ludovisi only-in 7 min.we were on Top of Spanish Steps. Irina gave us A-List for shops and restorants.We were not dissapoined not even once-we had discounts everywhere-when we pronounced the name of Irina in Rome-it was like magic...everything worked out.When i think about most romantic bedroom, i think of home of Irina - we had unforgettable time in that house,and we can not wait to go there again and again!!!!

  Yoga in Roman Villa

  I am yoga teacher for 20 years and usually with the
  group of people from different countries I teach
  yoga in retreats of Italy. At the end of May 2009
  with people of 8 we had incredible yoga experience
  in Villa Irina Marini. The place was so peaceful
  and luxury surrounding of particular design rooms,
  endless hospitality of the owner made this retreat
  unforgettable experience. The food was
  exceptional; the extra services were always
  available upon request. The fact that it is so
  close to Rome made our retreat not only spiritual
  and physical but also historical adventure of
  unforgettable memories. From now on we are going to
  do retreats on the regular basics in this Villa.
  This year we book for two separate weeks in June
  12-26. You are welcome to join us. Dear Irina,
