Three generations stayed at Wiley's finca (age range 1 - 82!). We all agreed we had one of our most relaxing holidays ever.
The finca is next to the family's small holding (mainly cows, goats, ponies, chickens etc) which you are free to look around. The children thought this was wonderful.
The finca itself is incredibly well equipped so you will not be lacking for anything. For those travelling with small children there is a very good travel cot, complete with comfy mattress and bedding. The inside is typical of the traditional Mallorcan style. It was clean from top to bottom and all the bedding and towels smelt lovely and fresh.
The outside games room was also well equipped. A table tennis table is set up ready to use and there are plenty other games and pool toys available. There are also mats, beach umbrellas etc for your trip to the beach (the nearest 'es trenc' being only about 8km away. Bikes are also plentiful (adults and childrens).
You will need a car as the finca is about 4km from the nearest town of Campos. Even though you will feel miles away from anywhere the whole of the island is easily accessible. For example, Palma is about 30 mins away, Valldemossa is about 45 mins away and Puerto Pollensa is about 1hr 15?
In Campos, there is a great flea market every Saturday morning, a super fruit and vegetable shop, a couple of large supermarkets, Lidl, restaurants and some good bakeries.
The finca has a large balcony so make the most of watching the incredible sunsets. The pool is a lovely shape and was a highlight of our holiday. Wiley comes early (6ish) every morning to clean the pool before going to see her horses so its perfect for a morning swim. She is very quiet so you won't be disturbed!
We will definitely return and we would definitely recommend. -

This house is a great place for families. (We were a family of three generations, the youngest member was five months and the oldest in his seventies.) It is both spacious and well-appointed, with good sized kitchen and pantry, two large bathrooms and one outdoor WC/shower room. It is located next to a farm and orchard and on a very quiet lane and is about four miles from the nearest shops, so it is advisable to stock up at the beginning of your stay. There are lovely views from the upper floors and roof terrace. We spent most of our time in or around the pool or enjoying the shady outdoor dining area. The location is excellent for the local beaches and for visiting Palma and the eastern part of the island. It is only a short distance from Palma airport.
We found the owners very helpful and efficient and would definitely consider renting from them again.

We stayed at Wiley's villa with another family with a toddler, so we had two toddlers and a baby between us. Wiley and her family couldn't have been more accommodating sourcing all the equipment, even some toys for us so that we would have to cart the minimum with us.
Wiley came every morning to maintain the stunning outdoor pool so we had an opportunity to ask her if we needed anything but the need never arose. The location is fab. Lots of teeny little coves nearby - perfect for little swimmers and Campos is a nice size town just five minutes drive away,
The villa is on a farm which the kids could explore. Lots of animals to see including tortoises, chickens and rabbits which was fab for little ones. From an adults perspective, the mountain bikes, table tennis, BBQ and outdoor pool kept us all out of trouble. Brilliant place, we all loved it. -

I simply cannot fault this beautiful farmhouse. The place was well apportioned, was set out sensibly, spotlessly clean (even the outside shower room (no cobwebs)) and well stocked with the essentials like soap, dishwasher tablets and various condiments.
Wiley was great - staying up until 2am to meet us in Campos to guide us to the house and she also did some food shopping for us before we arrived to ensure our first couple of days were plentiful. She was also on hand within minutes if anything went wrong (we had a short power cut which knocked out the water pump, but was soon resolved).
We travelled with an 8 month old baby and weren't sure what the facilities would be like, but as well as a travel cot with decent thick mattress, there was a proper high chair and a low level bouncy chair, which was ideal for taking out to the garden to sit the baby in the shade. There were also small plastic bowls and beakers, which were useful. We were able to get baby formula and jars of food from the local supermarket.
I would definitely recommend this place (and already have done) for anyone looking to get away from it all and have a relaxing, quiet holiday. -

We just returned from our trip to Mallorca and loved the Finca c'an barret. With young children travelling in our group, we had several questions during the time leading up to our stay and the owner immediately responsed to all our e-mail questions and concerns. The house is beautiful, has a fantastic pool, even access to ponies for the children to ride! I do recommend a rental car if you're staying here because it is about a 15-minute ride to the beach and grocery store. It is extremely peaceful at night with no traffic noise whatsoever...we enjoyed our week at the Finca C'an Barret and beautiful Mallorca!!

The family, five adults and a baby, has been 4 days in Can Barret, a beautiful rural house, spacious and well equipped. The location is unbeatable, in the midst of the beautiful Mallorcan countryside, filled with almond trees and close to the best beaches on the island and near the town of Campos. During the day we walked the many paths around the house or have visited the island. In the evening we have been able to meet all members of the family in the many spaces available to the home, both outdoors in the garden, in the barbecue or on the porch, and inside in the large kitchen or in the TV room. In short, it was a nice time and very quiet, we would return in the future for sure.

For anyone who likes to be away from it all, this is the villa for you. We were met in Campos and taken to the villa and immediately felt at home. All the rooms are immaculately clean and furnished with everything you could want including insect mesh on all the windows. In addition, Wiley had provided (at no cost) some beer, orange and water and the cupboard was stocked with basics such as pepper, salt, oil etc.
The outside of the villa was also perfect. There were lots of sun-loungers where you could be in or out of the sun and a covered balcony for eating outside.
A car is essential as it is a distance from supermarkets etc. There are some nice restuarants in Sa Rapida and further away, some lovely places to eat out looking over the water in Porto Colom.

La casa esta muy bien situada, ya que esta cerca de varias ciudades, lo que nos permitio poder descansar después de realizar turismo, al estar comunicada por caminos rurales pudimos disfrutar de largas caminatas y agradables salidas en bici, por unos bonitos paisajes. Además con el alquiler del coche, desde la casa pudimos ir a cualquier parte de la isla en menos de 2 horas. En cuanto a la casa, esta en magnificas condiciones, y podeis disfrutar de la granja de animales que esta al lado.
Por lo que estoy encantando con la experiencia, y me gustaria poder repetirla pronto.
