If you have an opportunity to stay at this luxury penthouse in Camps Bay you should grab it - it is certainly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Having travelled through East/South africa it was a wonderful place to end a magical summer. We arrived in Camps Bay and were met by a rep from the rental company (the lovely Bev!) who showed us around, explained how everything worked and answered any questions we had. There is a very useful book in the penthouse which also explains everything and points you in the right direction for most things. The penthouse itself is very large, with lots of spacious rooms with windows from floor to ceiling overlooking the ocean. Outside there is a large pool and balcony which overlooks the ocean - nothing quite beats drinking a glass of wine while watching the sun set from the comfort of the balcony. The penthouse was very comfortable with mod-cons, spacious areas for dinning and sleeping and everywhere you went you still had great views of the surrounding area. Car parking was also available downstairs which was great and we didn't have to worry very much about housework as a wonderful person comes in to take care of that! There are nice restaurants in Camps Bay, a theatre, great walks, lovely beach and really no reason to venture further. However, if you wish too the city is only 15 minutes away by car. I would recommend this penthouse whole-heartedly and hope to make it back there someday!
