Hi Diana and Jaan
We have returned safe and are all in the swing of our everyday life once again in a sweltering Gauteng.
How we miss the sunsets and the Cape overall.
A note to once again say thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us the 2 weeks we stayed.
We shall forever cherish the moments and memories we shared as a family.
Appreciate the trouble you went to helping us with special requests.
We hope to see you again in the near future.
All the best

Excellent option for Camps Bay
Left on 11/02/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Camps Bay is the place to be when visiting Cape Town. You do need to rent a car for thus rental. This villa is a real treat, well located and with a beautifully maintained garden with views of the Table mountain team and H7 apostles. We loved the sunsets from the back porch and used the grill often
a few drawbacks that I hate to mention about such a great place. Wifi is quite bad but we often experienced this in Sa not just here. This review would definitely be 5 stars with better Wifi. We needed to do work during our 3 week stay and this was difficult. The owners did try to fix this problem. There is no phone at the villa which may impact a foreign guest as getting a mobile in Sa is not always easy -

Diana and Janne could not have done more to make us feel welcome in this beautiful house. The location is perfect, just 5 minute drive to bustly Camps Bay restaurants and 10 minutes to the epic Chapman's Peak Drive. The house have fantastic views of the ocean as well as a private and peaceful garden and swimming pool. The master bathroom is the height of luxury and the bedding and towels were so soft and cosy. Thank you so much. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed here with our extended family and our toddler. We loved the patio over looking the water and the walk down to camps bay(15min down, longer up) .Right at the bottom of the hill you will find a grocery store(pick'n'pay) and lots of restaurants and of course the beach!. There is also a nice restaurant afew moments walk away with an excellent stock of toys and high chairs for the little ones. If you don't feel like cooking or going out there are lots of places that deliver. All the tourist attractions of cape town seemed to be within 15 minite drive and there is a hop on and off bus tour stop right in camps bay. The place has a security system and parking for one car inside the gates(i think it is ment to park 2, but very very tricky). We parked on the street and all was ok. The pool was a bit chilly for our likeing, but it seemed to be the norm to have unheated pools in south africa. If you have crawling babies or adventure seeking toddlers you should also know there are two sets of four, mabey 5 tile stairs leading down to the bedrooms. We managed to block the stairs with chairs and extra loung cushens, but perhaps if i had known ahead of time i would have tried to find some baby gates. Also if you have troubles with stairs you need to know there is also alot of stairs down to the home entrance from the street.
I was extreamly appreciative of the information provided to us by the owners, especially when our little one bacame ill and needed a doctor. All i had to do was open up their introduction folder and looked up doctors. They also arranged for me to pick up a sweater that i had left behind after we checked out! The home was very clean and beds very comfy. Overall we were very happy with our accomadation in Camps Bay. Camps Bay is nice and when you go there stay at cape atlantic, but what ever you do do not leave south africa before exploring the wine country!!!happy travels:-) -

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house. Spent hours taking pictures of the house and the views of Table Mountain and the atlantic. Convenient location to access all the Cape's sites. Can't miss the incredible sunset vistas, enjoyed some cocktails and cook up great food on the grill. Diana and Janne were very thorough in their guidance and what out of there way to accommodate us on both arrival and departure days. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Left on 01/31/2012 for a stay in November 2011
We found paradise in Camps Bay, it's called cape atlantic! We stayed there for a week, in November 2011.
The luxurious house is located on the slopes of the twelve apostels.
It has beautifully decorated and spacious rooms. Everything you need is available in the house.
The house has a big porch and a braai (very important), a big swimmingpool, and a breathtaking view of the ocean. (beautifull sunsets)
The owners, Diana and Janne, are incredible!! They were very friendly, and helpfull. If we had questions, they were only a phonecall away.
They put a lot of love in all that they do.
We had a wonderfull 7 days, and we will certainly come back when we visit Sa again! -

Left on 01/23/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Cape atlantic is a truly wonderful place to spend your holiday. The house is very well equipped, the owners Di and Janne have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The pool is a good size and is situated in a lovely private garden and the views of the ocean from the verandah are stunning (great sunsets). Very well situated within walking distance of the beach (20 mins approx), within easy reach of the main attactions of Cape Town. A real gem that is owned by lovely people.

Diana and Janne, thank you very much for sharing your beautiful home. We had a wonderful stay with three children. The house is perfectly located to take advantage of all the sights in Cape Town. Camp's Bay has a lovely beach, wonderful restaurants and an adequate grocery. The views from the back patio are stunning. Our one complaint is that the driveway is very difficult to navigate. I'm glad we had a small car! Aside from that one detail, everything else about the house is fantastic.

First the house seemed too big for the 2 of us. But after a few hours we felt so comfortable in our Camps Bay Castle that we did not want to leave after the six days of our stay. Diana and Janne gave us a very warm welcome. Diana even drove a long way to get us some classical CDs. We loved sitting on the terrace and watch the sun set over the ocean while sipping a glass of wine. Wide glass doors from lounge and kitchen can be completely opened so that even inside you have the feeling of being al fresco. The terrace gives good shelter against the famous winds of Camps Bay. The house is modern and does have all facilities you need. One windy evening we had a relaxing bath in the beautiful tub of the spacious bathroom - with candle lights. We would take our Camps Bay "Schloss" again when in Cape Town next time.

Marietta, Georgia, USAWhat a fantastic week in Camps Bay!
Left on 11/04/2010 for a stay in September 2010
My husband and our two teenaged kids (ages 14 and 16) had an amazing week at Cape atlantic in late September 2010. It was our first family trip abroad, and wow -- what a nice place this was -- cushy pillow-y beds, clean and luxurious bathrooms (the one downstairs more luxurious than the upstairs bath that our kids used, but they're teens and were fine with it), gorgeous views of the atlantic Ocean and the Twelve apostles, and the wonderful town of Camps Bay within a short drive (it was 15-minutes walking distance to nice restaurants, shops, and the gorgeous beach). We were just a 10-minute drive from Table Mountain, and what a nice refuge from our active days exploring Cape Town and the Cape of Good Hope. I loved cooking on the gastop in the kitchen, looking at the mountains while I prepared dinner. And the tiny but incredible oasis out back -- a small gem-colored pool and perfect landscaping -- a place where we spent afternoons relaxing, enjoying the mountain and ocean views. Before we went, I was concerned about safety (I'd read a lot about crime in the Cape Town area). But with the surrounding security gate and security system, we all felt safe during our stay there and had no troubles. When we arrived, Diana had clipped lavendar from the garden and placed a sprig on each of our pillows. She and her husband, Janne, were so nice and hospitable. This place was perfect for our family of four. Enchanting. Delightful. Left part of my heart there!

We enjoyed our stay at Cape atlantic very much. The house is beautiful, spaceful and wellcoming. We came with three teenagers and had a comfortable stay. It is peaceful, the view is breath taking both the ocean, mostly as the sun sets, and also the mountains at the back. Diana and Janne were very helpful. Hope to come back one day...

We stayed in Cape Atlantic for 1 week in February 2010. In total we were 4 adults and 2 infants.
The house is beautiful, very modern and functional. The view from the terrasse is magnificient and almost feels "magic"! The location is brilliant, some 10 mins from CT centre, just passed Table Mountain. Above that Diana gave an impeccable and very professional service.
A very good and romantic way to spend a week in CT!

"I had the pleasure of staying at Cape Atlantic from 27th- 29th Nov 2009.
The house is warm, bright and airy and tastefully decorated. It has everything that you could require in a self- catering unit. The views are magnificent, you see the mountain as you enter the property and have a view of the ocean from the patio. You will surely view glorious sunsets. Diana was the perfect hostess and ensured that our stay was comfortable and that we had all we needed. I will highly recommend Cape Atlantic for a stay in Cape Town. It is the perfect accomodation to relax and unwind in, whilst feeling the luxurious comfort of being in a homely environment."

Left on 01/24/2010 for a stay in December 2009
My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at Cape Atlantic for 5 nights from the 02 December to the 07 December. The house is perfectly located as it is within easy walking distance (3 minutes) to a fabulous local shop and fine grill restaurant. We also walked to the Camps Bay Promenade which took us about 15 minutes – perfect for us when we had consumed a few cocktails! The house is beautifully decorated and has fantastic sea views. The king size bed was so comfortable and this together with the crisp white cotton percale sheets, gentle sound of the sea made for a fantastic night’s sleep. All in all, we would HIGHLY recommend staying at Cape Atlantic, and we can’t wait to return next year!
