The condo had everything we needed. Because the condo is located in the upper corner of the building, the unit was very quiet with a nice view of the forest.

There was a shortage of toilet paper, which was annoying. The water and water heater were off - easy enough to turn on, once we had instructions, and were told where to look for instructions.
Instructions asked that we wash towels, but there was no laundry detergent.
Nothing really wrong, and the unit was nice, but a little more attention to details would be nice. -

wifi was barely functional. It would have been nice to have known that the water needed to be turned on as well as knowing that the breakers for the hot water heater and stove needed to be flipped. A note on the refrigerator could have explained this.

The staff is awesome! We love you guys! You rock! We usually stay in the Den but it was unavailable. This unit was a double the price, but not as nice. (I do understand we got a discount on the den) The appliances could surely be updated, the microwave doesn't work. However overall the unit was clean, in a great location, and I really enjoyed my stay and will always ONLY Contact Best of Canaan for all my rental needs. Jodi and I love you guys!

We recently spent a long weekend in the mountains and this rental was a great choice for lodging. It was midway between Davis and Canaan is a beautiful wooded location. The condo was just as the pictures show it. The pool was nice and not crowded at all. In fact we had it to ourselves a few times.
The only downside was that we did not have any cell phone reception there. But there is a land line and wi-fi.
I would definitely stay there again! -

This rental was very clean and well equipped with everything you would need. We loved our stay there both for the comfort and convenience of the rental and for the nearby hiking and sight seeing opportunities. Best of Canaan was great to work with. We were very happy with our stay.

The water was not turned on when we arrived. Also the hot water heater was turned down. This should have been down a few days before we arrived. This was not acceptable. There was

very helpful rental staff. would caution the housekeepers to check dryer vent as it was very clogged and could cause a bad fire. very quiet location with woods nearly surrounding property.

This was our first trip to WV and we loved it. We were a little apprehensive and hoping we made a good choice at staying at Beaver Ridge. We are looking forward to returning next year. Would give a 10 plus.

We called The Best of Canaan they suggested The Penthouse as a reasonable priced and easily accessible lodging. The top floor end unit location was quiet with a cozy atmosphere. Every thing in the unit was clean. We had a wonderful stay and are considering returning with another couple since the 2 bedrooms with separate baths allow privacy. We cooked one night and found the kitchen well appointed. We enjoyed the fireplace and views from the deck. Our
rental agent Donna Patrick was especially helpful.
