Centrally located, the villa is less than 10 minutes to the airport and most popular beaches. Guests will enjoy the peaceful relaxed luxury of a quiet secure environment. The French doors in the great room slide out of the way, leading to a patio which looks out onto the sundeck and private pool. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy main road but close enough to all conveniences. Colibri is centrally located, less than 10 minutes to airport and Store Bay and Pigeon Point beaches, less than 20 minutes to the inter-island ferry. we are conveniently close to the largest grocery storein Canaan, several mini-marts, the pharmacy and the gourmet grocery. Samaan Grove is a safe and secure up-scale community with 24 hour guard gate with the only land-side access to No Man's Land (additional charge applies). On-site parking is available for one vehicle. We are a short distance from Canoe Bay and about 45 minutes drive to Argyle Waterfall.

This rate is in US dollars based on 6 guests. A higher rate will be charged for 8 guests. Fees during Peak times will be higher than Standard rates. There is no additional charge for housekeeping. This service is included in your rental. Housekeeping is provided every day of your stay. Please request a quote indicating intended arrival and departure dates, names and number of people in the party including children.
Weekend rates are based on a 2 day/night stay of Saturday and Sunday.
To make a booking: A Reservation Deposit 25% of your balance is required to confirm your stay. A security deposit is required and will be refunded less any applicable damage deductions 7 days after departure.
The full Rental Payment is due 30 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy: 30 days before arrival :no penalty. Between 30 days and 14 days before arrival: 50% penalty. Less than 14 days: no refund. If the villa is re-booked for the same period and a cancellation penalty was applied the applicable cancellation penalty will be refunded.

Stayed for 2 nights here while on business in Tobago. Grandparents and kids also joined us. The kids were not bored, which was interesting given the lack of video games. They enjoyed the serenity of the area, minimal noise and cool breezes. Pool was enjoyable especially as it was close the verandah.
High points - you get what you see. The pictures are not just staged. Very easy to get in and get out with help from housekeeper who visits daily. Great direcTV package and DVD player to keep you in touch along with great wifi service.
Low points - toiletries, walk with your soaps, shampoos, etc. Minor debate on how much tp you might have available from the home, so walk with extra if you are a cautious soul. If you have no car rental, be careful as the nearest super market is more of a short drive than walk. No Man's Land access is difficult, but definitely the high point of staying here. Use a 4x4 and ask carefully if road conditions are good or not. You may need to pay to enter this area as a guest, check with the guard station. Next time I will try some bicycles.
Great place if you want to get away from the crowds. Take a stroll at night, stargazing is possible.Response from Patricia Campbell - 05/06/2013

Thank you for your review of Villa Colibri. I am happy to hear that your kids enjoyed their stay. I apologize for the lack of toiletries. The housekeeper is supposed to replace soap and toilet paper as needed and we do try to use quality products. You are right about No Man's Land access. The management of Samaan Grove has recently implemented and across the board charge for access to No Man's Land. Owners and guests pay the same charge of $200TT. The money will go towards repairing the "road" that was damaged during the rainy season. Unfortunately, owners have no say concerning the instituting of this fee. I hope that you will give us a chance to show you that we can live up to your expectations in every way.

My family stayed at the villa during February and we could not have been happier with our choice in selecting this location. It was immaculately maintained with numerous amenities. The villa has large open common areas with a full kitchen and dining area. A beautiful pool and open patio. It is part of gated community that is only a five minutes away from a picturesque beach. The owner was wonderful to work with and she went out of her way to see that our needs and wants had been met. I would highly recommend booking this villa!!

My family and I stayed at Villa Colibri for four nights in February 2013. The villa is beautiful inside and out. The villa is very well-appointed with all the amenities one could need or want. The common areas have a nice open feel which creates a convenient gathering place for families or groups of friends. The villa has tasteful modern decor with comfortable sitting and sleeping areas throughout. There is a large sliding glass door that overlooks a nice covered sitting area and pool. The villa is in a secure gated community and the neighborhood itself is very nice and provides an area for a family to enjoy walking and biking away from the traffic of the main streets. All in all, a wonderful stay and I would most definitely return again.

I can't say enough positive things about my stay at this property! Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly, professional but with a clear emphasis on good customer service. The house itself is well-maintained and furnished in a chic, modern tropical style that is elegant, yet comfortable. A big plus is the location- though not on the beach, it is just a short drive to Store Bay or Pigeon Point, shopping and sightseeing, and most of all, I felt safe and secure with a guarded security gate and upscale neighborhood feel. We took our young kids for walks nearby every day and never had to contend with worrying about our safety. We also wanted for nothing during our stay, especially with daily maid service included, which is not common to find in other Tobago villa rentals. The owner was even able to provide us with a brand new high chair, pack and play with changing table and bassinet, and baby walker for our infant to use during our stay. Such thoughtful conveniences made our travel experience that much less stressful and so much more like a home away from home. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and hope to do so again on future trips. Thanks for everything!

My grandfather past in March 2011 so I packed up our things and me and the the kids took our first trip to Trinidad to meet the rest of my family that arrived prior to. We decided to take a "break" from everything and decided to go to Tobago for a couple of days. Located this villa on trip advisor and contacted the owner. She was able to host a party of 5 adults & 2 kids in two days notice. Took the ferry across and was able to get a taxi to the property. No more than a 10 minute ride from the ferry port. We ended up hiring one of the taxi drivers to take us around Tobago. When we arrived to the house, OMG!! Immediately was in love with this place. Very spacious, super clean, every staff member we came across was very friendly and professional. Short drive to Store Bay. The kids had a ball in the pool. Washer/Dryer on premises.Less than five minute walk to the main road where you can catch a taxi or bus to take you around. We walked (15 minutes) to the shopping area where there were a couple of supermarkets, resturants, etc. My only complaint was there was no internet/wifi access. The reason I am just now posting this is because we are are taking a trip to Trinidad February 2013 & I would love to visit Tobago again. While searching vaction rentals, this villa populated and reminded me how much I loved it here. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Tobago.

That situation was caused be a problem that the Internet company had with their underwater cable from the mainland of Trinidad. I would recommend this Villa to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, secure place to stay while visiting Tobago. This Villa has all the amenities of home if not more and comes with it's own private pool which was a plus on those days that you may not feel like heading to the beach. This Villa is well maintained with a lovely well kept garden. We were greeted warmly by JennyLyn the Housekeeper upon our arrival and felt at home from the moment we entered the front door.
We would definitely return to Villa Colibri on our next trip to Tobago.

Villa was exactly as described, it was very clean, comfortable, great location and well equipped. The villa basically contained everything we would need. We were met by the housekeeper who welcomed us immediately and made us feel straight at home. The owner was very friendly and efficient with responding to my emails. Overall, highly pleasant experience, we hope to visit the villa again soon, and I recommend the villa and the service.
